QUESTIONS MEME

THE QUESTIONS MEME

A first big 'n successful round of apps has concluded and the game is getting off to a roll - since there are always brains to be picked and new pals and acquaintances to be made, how's about we all play a little getting-to-know-you game?

HOW TO PLAY:
• Leave a comment below with your name and the characters who you play.
• Respond to others' comments with questions - they can be about their characters, their current in-game plans or things they'd like to play, their CR, RP in general, their canons and fandoms, or most anything else.
• Answer questions you've received! Keep it short or TL;DR to your heart's content, depending on how much you have or are in the mood to say!
• After each answer you give, ask a question back to the person who answered you. Keep the thread of questioning up for as long as both parties are game!
• Go for it - make friends, make new plans, make anything you like!

What's your favorite part of TOR?

Other than that beautiful Yavin 4 stronghold? I liked Knights of the Fallen Empire a lot; it was a unique premise with good writing and added in a lot of cool gameplay features and extras that kept me engaged as a sporadic PvE-only player. I also felt like the narrative was stronger than it was in Eternal Throne.

Do you have a must-read or must-watch for Legends canon?

Oh, yeah. For OG movie characters, the Thrawn trilogy by Timothy Zahn is a must read. For TOR/KOTOR era characters, the Dark Horse comics series Tales of the Jedi. And for prequels? Honestly Kenobi by John Jackson Miller.

Is there any particular inspiration for Zohvin's story you might call a must read?

Ty for the recs! I actually don't have a lot of direct inspiration for Zohvin beyond the general premise of 'hey the Jedi way probably isn't perfect for everyone'. When I first started playing SWTOR, I had a group of friends that made Sith characters for RP, and since I usually don't play villains Zohvin was both a compromise and a way for me to RP spy stuff.

Though if you do like spy stuff in general, I remember The Great Game by Frederick Hitz being one of the better books I picked up on the topic.

HMM are there any other sci-fi fandoms you're into?

Oh absolutely. Star Trek (though I am a filthy casual), Battlestar Galactica, and an old school anime called Legend of the Galactic Heroes are the big ones.

You?
