A first big 'n successful round of apps has concluded and the game is getting off to a roll - since there are always brains to be picked and new pals and acquaintances to be made, how's about we all play a little getting-to-know-you game?

what sort of experience/event/thread would you really like to see Klaus have in-game?

1) Really horrible coping mechanisms once he starts getting harassed by this world's version of ghosts
2) Maybe actually having to face consequences for his actions (this is going to necessitate him actually making meaningful connections with people, which he's going to try and fight doing even though it's what he secretly really wants)
3) This is a sex-friendly game and I want some of the real kinky shit from his list, esp. some of the pain/cutting combined w/aftercare because I have a Type.

1. Really strong relationships? Especially because I've played Matt having really deep relationships and partnerships in a game over months before and it's just... The payoff is incredible.
2. People calling him out on his ridiculous bullshit. Just... His ego is out of control and he really, constantly needs someone or something to keep him in check. Not even necessarily negative, just... Someone to put a hand on his shoulder and be like "Matt. Enough." Without Boss or Asha to keep him in line he's gonna get out of hand fast.
2.5 SEMI-related, I want the nonhumans to be like... completely over his dumb fawning of them. I can't wait until one of them just stares at him like "uh, wtf dude"
3. I really want him to like... Have the realization that all his weird furry fantasies aren't necessarily as great irl as he thought they would be? Hey, being a fantasy creature may be more than a little inconvenient and a little body horrory
4. ALSO yeah, same re: sex-friendly stuff, I would not have picked Iris if I did not have Certain Hopes

God I'm one of those incredibly lame people who just wants to give Klaus beautiful moth wings because of the associations with death and also the overall delicacy/underestimation factor. I settled with the bat-eared fox features because of the eye-makeup type markings and overall dumb face, honestly.

honestly, moths would fit pretty well with Klaus - they fit the unassuming and dramatic factor really well.
OH BOY. So. Nyte Blayde ("Two y's and a d in there.... somewhere" as Boss eloquently put it) is, as the SR writers put it, one of those schlocky CW-type supernatural shows akin to True Blood or Supernatural. It's a comic series turned TV show about a vampire hunter who was turned into a vampire and it's... Ridiculous, over the top, it's a whole thing.
Anyway, Matt is a HUGE Nyte Blayde fanboy, to the point where he models part of his virtual world after it, writes fanfiction about it, in SRIV his loyalty mission is based on his self-insert Nyte Blayde fanfic, and in his romance he asks Boss to call him Nyte Blayde.
and basically this is just a really longwinded way to explain it's a pun on "not nyte blayde."

I feel like answering that question is cheating since I also play Diego in some memes, they have interesting parallel personalities that I jive with in really different ways! I love a dumb knife boy with anxiety.

MMM Diego is great tho. tbh I would LOVE to see any more of the UA cast bc they're all so... They just have such an amazing dynamic.
God, SO many. I actually joked with my friends that I had such an easy choice bc all the other characters I wanted to bring either didn't have enough canon or were from the same canon as Matt! But... The other big choices were Boss from Saints Row or Party Poison from Danger Days True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys - He is literally entirely fanon though so.

Klaus was really the only one I was considering, I don't play a ton of people anymore because I took a huge break (2+ years) from roleplay and have just recently gotten back into it since the end of last year! I play Mystique and Trevor Belmont at Duplicity so it's kind of funny that I only play in sex games, but you know, I guess that's just my life now

Oh gosh, that's such a specific question! I think there's the answer that Klaus will give people (which more or less amounts to 'whatever you want, baby') and then the answer he actually wants to give, which is ... Something along the lines of feeling like he's on equal footing with whoever he's in bed with and really, actually trusting them to do some pretty extreme things like breathplay and cutting without having the anxious edge of 'oh and maybe I'll die'

Those cans of beans with frankfurters in them (beanie weenies/pork and beans) -- since that was one of the most common MCI he ended up having to eat in Vietnam, and probably the one he ate the day that Dave died.

Alright so - Matt's biggest nemesis isn't really the Boss, even when he's trying to kill them. For background, when he's 16 he's the leader of a gang of cyber terrorists called the Deckers, who are in turn part of a criminal conglomerate known as The Syndicate. Everything is fine, until the leader gets killed by the Saints.
Killbane, the leader of the Luchadores, sees this as an opportunity to flex his power. He goes absolutely mad and megalomaniacal. He ends up killing one of the twins that runs the Morningstar, he repeatedly physically threatens Matt and hits him full force with a folding chair, and bc of that Matt feels pressure to double down on his attack on the Saints, gets his ass kicked, begs for his life, etc, etc, gets away with his life, etc.
It's revealed in SR4 that his biggest fear is not only being trapped in technology that he can't figure out (the whole rescue mission is predicated in a text adventure game format) and lacking control, but also being trapped with Killbane.
It's only with the Boss's encouragement that he stands up at all, even against a virtual Killbane.
And a lot of it is just that one central interaction, but there's a lot to be read from how he interacts with the female characters vs. the male characters, too - The only female character he really restrains himself around or for is Shaundi, because she's Terrifying and he knows she doesn't take any shit, and even then he DOES try once or twice to be casual.

Partner preferences! Someone who's going to be able to deal with him being a bratty asshole in a way that's going to be constructive (just yelling at him isn't going to work, actually figuring out why he's being a brat will), and physically he's very much into the stereotypical well-built, 6' man with blue eyes and a nice jaw.
