THE QUESTIONS MEME

A first big 'n successful round of apps has concluded and the game is getting off to a roll - since there are always brains to be picked and new pals and acquaintances to be made, how's about we all play a little getting-to-know-you game?

HOW TO PLAY:

Which canon Hargeeves sibling dynamic is your fave?

Definitely Five and Klaus.

Five is: the only person who asks Klaus how he is doing more than once in eight days, the only one who believes Klaus when he tries to convince everyone that he can see and potentially summon Ben, and is a really great parallel to watch with Klaus.

Also: Five actually defends Klaus while he's having a PTSD moment during the final showdown in the theatre and I'm a sucker for that shit.

Give me an elevator pitch for Temple's canon! I know ... zero about RVB.

Red vs. Blue starts out as being about two teams fighting a meaningless war against each other in a canyon. And eventually, it becomes about how they stop being enemies and discover who has really been pulling the strings.

It starts out comedic and becomes more dramatic and plotty as it goes on.

In some ways, it reminds me of the Umbrella Academy: both these series are whimsical and humorous, and both of them have a group of weird, traumatized, often bickering protagonists as their focus. That’s part of why Temple has such fun CR with Klaus, I think - because their canons both include that kind of dynamic and so, both of them are suited to and used to it as characters.

That totally makes sense. I'm hyped for Klaus to get some negative CR at some point, but he's just so damned charming...lol.

Temple and Klaus almost had negative CR but then Klaus managed to make (at least a bit of) a genuine emotional connection with Temple and Temple became kinder towards him as a result.
