QUESTIONS MEME

THE QUESTIONS MEME
A first big 'n successful round of apps has concluded and the game is getting off to a roll - since there are always brains to be picked and new pals and acquaintances to be made, how's about we all play a little getting-to-know-you game?
HOW TO PLAY:
• Leave a comment below with your name and the characters who you play.
• Respond to others' comments with questions - they can be about their characters, their current in-game plans or things they'd like to play, their CR, RP in general, their canons and fandoms, or most anything else.
• Answer questions you've received! Keep it short or TL;DR to your heart's content, depending on how much you have or are in the mood to say!
• After each answer you give, ask a question back to the person who answered you. Keep the thread of questioning up for as long as both parties are game!
• Go for it - make friends, make new plans, make anything you like!

My favorite Kingdom Hearts game so far is probably a tossup between KH2 and and Dream Drop Distance - 2 had a lot of flaws but was also really fun and important to me and was the most recent game when I started playing Riku, and Dream Drop Distance because it was SUPER fun and exciting and had so much development for Riku in it.
Oddly, though, I think the games that have helped me develop Riku the most are Chain of Memories, 358/2 Days, and KH3. DDD helped a lot, to be sure, but those three are the ones that gave me the most interesting breadcrumbs to work with? CoM in particular gave me Riku's weird sense of smell that I play with at every opportunity despite it never coming up in canon again.

What's your favorite thing about playing Midna?

I have heard from a couple of my friends that they found DDD to be a little stressful with the time limit between Sora and Riku (if I'm thinking of the correct game). The more I'm hearing, however, the more I'm realising I know almost next to nothing about KH and its characters, though back when KH2 came out, I played Demyx for a little bit and thought he was fun.
I've been playing Midna off and on for some years now.
Why haven't I moved on? Who knows.I think what's really attracted me to her is this concept that she's not just a princess, but she has these other layers to her. I find complexity in her. She might be a princess, but she's not what I anticipate out of stereotypical royalty. She's not altruistic. She's not selfless. She tries to be a good leader, but she has a lot of flaws that make her not always suitable for the task.If I start looking at historical dynasties and monarchies, there are some parallels with some complicated leaders, and I can appreciate that there's a sense of realism in Midna's character design. I also really appreciated the idea that we're shown how difficult it is to be a leader through the eyes of Midna. Shes' a bit entitled, yes, but in learning her struggles of dealing with this implied insecurity that she couldn't protect her people. Again, it comes down to this touch of realism that I appreciate. To me, Midna feels like if you take all of the obvious magical realm and abilities away, she could pass for a real person in terms of her flaws and characteristics.
If you weren't playing Riku, who would you be playing? (If this isn't applicable, then what drew you to Riku to begin with? As in, what made you choose Riku over the other extensive cast of characters? Alternatively, you can answer all of these.)
