When she was interrupted. Her eyes turned back to him, and what he said actually startled her enough to make her blink. He hadn't heard anything? No caws, not even the rustle of feathers?
"I'm not sure what you mean by odd... wait, there were those feathers that appeared in my room, but I got rid of most of those."
Her hand moved to stroke a small box she had hanging under her cloak by a string. As she did so, she heard another rustle, and jerked her head to the side, trying to find the source.
