You awaken amidst the darkness with only a faint light to greet you. Your body is hemmed in by shards of crystals, gently sparkling and possibly pricking your skin. The surrounding landscape is dyed in the pinks and purples of the dusk filled with crystals protruding from the ground, some as large as a skyscraper. After an hour or two of wandering through the crystal wilderness, a group of people find you worse for wear. They are the gallant Moon Knights from the planet of Prismatica. Because of the strange phenomena during the past months when scientists observed the sudden appearance of rainbow crystals in the sky, the government has been feverishly combing through the moon for more Moonblessed to be rescued. You’ll eventually be brought into Iris’s moon government center.

You all may have your usual inquiries — Where are we? Who are you? What's going on? — and the Prismals are almost too eager to answer. They tell you about their world and about the first appearance of the Moonblessed as the medical staff give you an examination to make sure you’re not carrying any viruses or biological hazards. If you react violently, you may be restrained and nerfed with a specialized neurotransmitting gun that releases a numbing agent through the top of your spine. Once the examinations are over, you’re informed that you will be provided accommodations on their planet during your stay. You will then be escorted to the docks, and led onto a large transport vessel that makes frequent trips back and forth between the Iris moon and the planet. Faces onboard vary from both old and new Moonblessed as well as the local Prismals.

Welcome to Prismatica’s hub, Lunatia, the city of your dreams! A bustling metropolis lush with bright lights, vibrant colors, luxuriant plant life, and all the conveniences of technology absent from your own world… It seems like paradise to all the uninitiated. After a quick tour of the city, new arrivals can find themselves getting cozy in their new homes.

 A  Settle in your new home at Level 2 to find new roommates and say hello to your neighbors! City officials will give you directions to the designated districts across Level 2 and instruct you to pick out a unit. Each apartment complex has a different aesthetic, some may look cozy, some stylish, and some bizarre. The free accommodations have a basic living space that can only fit two or three people at most in one unit.

Starter Chromaspace furnishings are provided which can be controlled with the touch of a built-in panel. Examples are color-changing curtains, transforming sofa beds, cabinets turning into tables, etc. Customizing your apartment or moving out will have to wait until you earn more chroma. Until then, why don’t you check out your new neighborhood or explore the city levels? Maybe your new roommates or neighbors can give you a “hand” with allowance for dinner.

 B  Your new flat is covered in a sprinkling of feathers here, there, and everywhere! They appear to be coming through the air vents. This seems to be a city-wide problem in all buildings, as many news outlets are informing people to stay alert. They believe the feathers are from the masked seraphim, King Majestas, who attacked the Elaran Amphitheater a few weeks back.

You are advised to destroy the feathers on sight. Prolonged contact with these feathers cause hallucinations and paranoia. You will feel as if winged creatures are always after you, be it one-winged angels or dark-winged ducks. Other side effects include hearing the chanting of voices in an indecipherable language out of this galaxy. These hallucinations may cause headaches, dizziness, or nausea. Thankfully, a bit of moonlacing will heal these symptoms away.

With the Coiled Hearts Festival fast approaching, local fishermen have already begun procuring food across Crystal Beach’s clear waters to meet next month’s demands. Around this time of year, the popularity of octopus dishes dramatically rises. The Lunatians have an annual tradition to prepare flavorful octopus dishes for the romantic season, such as the much-lauded dark chocolate-coated octopus or the mouth-watering octopus braised with red wine.

Everyone is welcome to join this heart-throbbing affair. During the Second and Third months, everyone is encouraged to give your loved ones something special for a long, successful relationship. Friends, family, and new acquaintances are traditionally given a small amount of Demichroma in tiny cute cases, while lovers are given something that reminds the gifter of their homeland.

 A  Interested in catching your own octopus? Horned taurus octopi very frequently migrate to the shorelines to perform their elaborate mating rituals. It’s easy to find clumps of taurus octopi participating in a vigorous dance, filled with undulations and strange moaning noises that octopi should not be making. You can lure the octopi by either using a special flute which mimics their moans to gather them in heavy droves. It’s ideal to have a partner with you to scoop the octopi quickly into water containers once they’ve become entranced enough.

Play the flute carefully! If the taurus octopi grow too excited by your music, they will squirt white ink. If you are spritzed with the thick substance, you will start either randomly puking or uncontrollably secreting a milky sweet substance from any body part that secretes liquids. Luckily, the high-end boutique Prissy Polyp is nearby in case you need a change of clothes due to any sizable stains. Effects will naturally wear off after an hour.

 B  Come with a friend and enjoy learning some octopus recipes together. The Crystal Beach Resort has opened a seminar where several professional chefs will be demonstrating and teaching how to cook various dishes of different flavors and ingredients guaranteed to impress your date, and taste-testing is free!

One dish makes use of horned taurus octopi skin as the star ingredient, renowned for its irresistibly delectable scent. The chefs explain the palatable skin is a potent ingredient in various love potions and aphrodisiacs, so add or mix them to your dishes in moderation! The effects have a significant delay, so you may feel fine for a while, but when it hits, it hits hard. You will become enamored with every little thing — hey, you just met them and this is crazy — but that person’s smile, the sound of their voice, or the way they say your name will make you unable to resist the urge to shower them with your affection.

Level 2, Moonlight Medical Center | top

“Help Wanted” posters can be found on virtual forums and announcement boards across Level 1 to 3. The Moonlight Medical Center has put out a call for volunteers due to a recent shortage of medical staff. The work involves filling in for overworked nurses, performing tasks such as feeding patients their meals, wiping away their sweat, changing their clothes, encouraging their spirits, and so on. Any volunteers may directly walk-in at the hospital. You will be provided a nurse uniform and any necessary equipment while on the job.

The shortage has resulted from the hospital recently taking in a severe number of patients from a nearby small village to the west of Lunatia, Port Sylvel, a known shipping and freight destination. The number of patients worryingly keeps on rising by the day and will soon fill all available rooms.

 A  Some of the patients are experiencing varying degrees of paralysis. The worst cases have crystallizing parts of their body. The hospital staff will stress that you should be careful around patients with crystallized limbs. Patients like these have a history of aggressively biting anyone who comes close hard enough to draw blood. Those bitten will exhibit similar symptoms as the victims, including crystallization on their bodies, and experience a steady drop in Chroma. An uncomfortable heaviness will cause you unable to move without the aid of others as well as an uncontrollable urge to aggressively bite someone.

While affected Moonblessed can cure it by moonlacing, the Prismals can only be cured by a gluteal inoculation the Lunar Scientia has recently managed to develop. The sick and beleaguered will probably hate you less if you aren’t the one trying to stabbing them with injections in the hindquarters.

 B  Aside from nursing duties, other available tasks to be completed include making coffee for fellow nurses and doctors, delivering flowers to patients, and general housekeeping. Specifically, disinfecting medical equipment, tidying up rooms, and cleaning the spaces around the hospital. As a result of the current situation, many crystal shards can be found decorating multiple surfaces, such as floors, walls, toilet seats, and so on. These will have to be swept away!

However, as your work day progresses, some of the shards can be seen suddenly moving on their own. These crawling shards will start clustering together to turn into elaborate, floating monolithic formations that will then begin attacking anyone nearby. Their main ability includes shooting diamond spears to impale any unfortunate victims in their line of sight. In the midst of the chaos, nurses and doctors will beg the Moonblessed to please protect the sick and wounded. The crystal formations can be destroyed by any method, though because of their incredibly sturdy composition, they require multiple hits before they shatter into dust.

Arrival/settling in A

Waking surrounded by crystals is unexpected to say the least and he sits up slowly, the sounds of cries still echoing in his ears from his last memory, his fingers flexing as he reaches for his sword, finding it missing. That's alarming enough that he shakes off his disorientation and moves to his feet, gaze drifting over the surrounding area. It's not too long though before he's brought to the so-called government center.

The information is confusing, if something for him to file away and think over later and once he's released, footsteps carry him through the government center, gaze taking in the odd appearance of the place before he finally finds himself outside.

And while the directions take him a few minutes to sort out, he eventually finds his way to his new lodgings, pausing after he enters to survey the room before he rubs a hand over his face and moves to sit somewhere on the floor, taking a few slow deep breaths as he closes his eyes.

It's enough to help him center himself, breathing slowly until he feels a little less lost in his own skin, his expression as neutral as he can manage before he finally stands, moving to examine the rest of the place.

And later, he's out in the city itself, heading for what's supposed to be a market to see if there's anything he can find that looks familiar, although he stops outside the building and glances up at the sign before entering.

Not that he has any of the money this place calls for on him, but maybe he can bargain something out.

Cooking lessons sound useful so of course he's interested, even if he's attending the lesson alone, watching the chefs intently as they prepare said dishes before he samples a few Octopus isn't really something he's ever tasted before so it's definitely a new experience, and the food is unsurprisingly good.

The recipes seem simple enough to follow as well, although his cooking experience is rather limited, but it's nothing he can't pick up if he tries. And there's always the option of asking for help if he really needs it.

[Did someone say aphrodisiac octopi? Because Howard is so there. The best way to make some quick Chroma, he assumes (aside from the obvious), is by capitalizing on the flavor of the month. He's busy playing the flute - although the noises it makes cause him to raise an eyebrow - and when one of the octopi starts making a move on him, he quickly gestures to a bystander to run in with the container and scoop it up. Come on, come on, time is money!

Or you might run into him after he's tried to wrestle one of the critters by himself. There's a thick white blotch on his shirt, and-]

[Howard's been his own test subject more than once - look, that's just how science is sometimes. While he's never claimed to be able to cook, he figures that there must be something to activate the properties of the octopus skin, whether it's a particular chemical or simply heat. He doesn't have a lab, so one of the kitchen stations is the next best bet. What he doesn't know is the delay of the effects, so he's already eaten his, uh, dish and ambled off on his merry way - perhaps with more octopus skin in tow - until, suddenly, he bumps into someone who's fascinating. He strokes their arm, callused fingertips brushing over soft skin, totally enamored.]

There was definitely a strange sense to the falling feathers everywhere, though as much as he tried, avoiding them was difficult. But, it wasn’t as if Wei Wuxian needed to be inside for any particular reason at the moment, so taking to the streets to explore was a far more preferable option. Except, he did have a feather caught in his hair, completely unaware.

As he walked around town he started to feel as if something was chasing him, but every time he turned back there was nothing. A familiar paranoid feeling started to rise up inside him until he couldn’t help but shout.

“Show yourself! I’m not afraid of anything, so you might as well step out before I hunt you down and deal with you in a less pleasant manner!” Of course there was nothing there.

He wasn’t that interested in catching the octopi, he mostly just wanted to attract the most out of the need to show off a bit. The strange terrible flute was sort of funny as well, playing around with it to make the most dreadful of sounds. He couldn’t help but wonder what Lan Qiren’s face would be if he heard this monstrosity, and also, what would Lan Zhan do if he was confronted with this terrible inappropriate flute?

Lucky for him he was indeed attracting quite a lot of them, and also the image in his head of a trouble Lan Zhan caused him to laugh nearly getting hit with the white liquid the octopi secreted. Lucky for him he dodged at the right moment, though perhaps not lucky for someone nearby.

“This is so funny, this is just, these things are hilarious! Oh... Watch yourself, I think I worked them up.”

What an odd dish, Xiao Xingchen does not know what to make of it. The chefs have demonstrated it at least four times for him to copy but he keeps putting too much or too little of everything in it.

It's a disaster, honestly. Thankfully, Xue Yang cooks because otherwise they would live on steam rice, vegetables and candy.

In the process of mixing the ingredients again, he takes a step back and knocks into someone passing behind him. He turns, an apology on his mouth and then recognises the man. He has seen him many times, well not him but a version of him.

"Apologies, I am having trouble with this recipe. Wei Wuxian, I did not expect to see you here."

At least, that’s what Rochelle’s convinced herself this was. She doesn’t quite trust the Prismals examination of her, much less that this is even REAL. But here she was, leaned against the rail outside of her apartment, staring the door down anxious.

Feel free to come across a short woman covered in bandages, her pink Depeche Mode shirt stained in old blood and... something weird and green. Don’t ask her what it is. She also has an equally bloodstained fire axe leaned against the railing along with her, and a large Desert Eagle pistol holstered on her hip.

She glances to the nearest person that walks by and flashes a weak smile.]

Well. Somehow, this isn’t the weirdest shit that’s happened to me.

Well, all of this had been a surprise. Then again, waking up had been a surprise in the first place, so Summer'd really gone through everything else in kind of a haze of "sure, okay, why not?". After all, why make a fuss out of things like unfamiliar technology or people who looked way more animalistic than any faunus she'd ever met when you were dead?

She's still not entirely certain this isn't the afterlife, but whether it is or not, there's no reason not to put her best foot forward. So once the introduction is taken care of and she's found her way to the apartments set aside for new arrivals, she picks out an unoccupied set of rooms and gets to moving in.

A short while later, she steps out, humming to herself thoughtfully, and begins a search for someone to talk to. Whether it's someone else stepping out of their apartment into the hallways or someone she bumps into on the street, her reaction is the same. A warm smile, and a question.

"Oh, hello! Do you have a moment? I'm wondering where I can find a decent flower boutique around here to spruce up my new... home?"

Feathery Menaces

Though she's more than willing to get rid of all other types of feathers, Summer has an unfortunate attachment to the black ones. Although it's just one color, she still is slowly gathering up a small box's worth of the things... and that's more than enough to get to her.

She's starting to jump at flaps of wings no one else can here, caws echoing where there don't seem to be any birds... and strangest of all, what seem to be one-winged Nevermore stalking her just out of the corner of her eye.

The result is that the poor woman is becoming very frazzled and panicky, and with her long-standing huntress reflexes and the very large knife in her hand... that's not a good combination. Maybe approach her (carefully) and try to calm her down?

Octopus has never been one of Summer's favorite foods, but she doesn't hate it, this sounds like fun, and she's a little curious. So here she is, playing the flute... inexpertly, trying to lure the creatures to her. She just about has one close enough to make a grab for it-

And she blows a little too hard, causing it to abruptly jump and squirt her. Now, if it had landed on her white cloak, that would hardly be a problem, but nope! Right on her top. Which is black. Terrific.

"Oh, that's... going to take some doing to get out." She grumbles, glaring down at the offending garment. "I guess I'll need to-" Her thinking out loud is interrupted by a strange, but familiar feeling. That's odd, she hasn't felt that sort of pressure since Ruby-

Oh. Well, this is going to be awkward. She folds her arms over her chest with a flush and starts to back away from the water. Hopefully she won't bump into anybody as she tries to figure out what she's going to do now...

Help Wanted

There's a wide difference between knowing field medicine and qualifying to be a nurse, but thankfully the hospital needs plenty of hands right now for other things entirely, and Summer's more than happy to help. Cleaning up has become something relaxing for her, which by this point she can very much use. It's been awkward at best adapting to this new place.

And then she suddenly finds herself being attacked by sentient crystals shooting spears at her.

At this point Summer Rose has officially had enough. Eyes narrowing in what her team would recognize as her "leader glare", she takes a deep breath and pulls out a large knife from the folds of her cloak.

And proceeds to start methodically stabbing the nearest crystalline structure. "No, no, I am done with random objects trying to attack me today, thank you very much!"

Cloud, meanwhile was only just returning back from a round of deliveries across the city. It's getting busier and busier this month. What with the equivalence of Valentine's Day coming up. What did they call it here? The Coiled Hearts Festival? Details, details. Either way, the important thing was the young swordsman was getting work again. The day's quieted down for the late afternoon, so he doesn't have anything specific to attend to right now. Nor has he made plans. So...did he just go home? Check how much food they had for Chuck? No- for some reason, he's feeling more on the restless side.

Which is unusual considering it's the Iris moon that's out right now. Not Sanguis. Well, when all else fails, hit up one of his friends or take a day for himself and train. That was routine enough anyway, right? Apparently he's trapped in his own thoughts, still weighing his options for what he wants to get Weiss for her upcoming birthday...

Cloud is distracted enough that he takes one step too far, bumping into the back of a woman in front of him. It's not a rough bump or anything, just enough that he snaps out of his thoughts with a shake of his head and a step back. Whoops? "Sorry, I-"

But then she turns around, smiling warmly at him and the name slips from his lips immediately on reflex.

"Ruby?"

The hair. The eyes. The smile. It's only when he says her name that he mentally kicks himself. Nope. Wrong person. But the resemblance...

( at first it was a noble attempt at some do gooder-ness that harry potter greatly encompasses, walking through the length of his chosen apartment building to help where he can at the extermination of some unwanted feathers. rather, it's still a noble plight by someone's standards, although harry had thought somewhere in the midst of his feather rampage quote, this must be a very large goose. suffice to say, you can only throw out the same spell so many times in a row before your voice starts sounding like nails on a chalkboard, and harry thinks he might off himself if he casts another — )

if hermione were here she'd probably have, at the very least, a new spell that harry can overuse. think like hermione granger, then, and he'll come up with something more exciting.

he's sat on the floor in a particular hallway, a wand of holly held loosely between bored fingers. inaudibly, he manages to float one of the never ending feathers, the black of it following the direction of his wand, up and down. he frowns for a moment, before huffing and saying,)

Baubillious. ( and lightning sparks out of his wand, lighting the feather ablaze. still dissatisfied, harry hangs his head. ) Bau-boring, more like.

( this one has been studying potions and the production of them for what feels like one short eternity. never once has the product horned taurus octopi skin come across his readings — or been an option on any hogwarts multiple choice test, for that matter. call it curiosity. learning about something new with a fool's daydream about flexing some knowledge on snape feels like studying for the wrong reasons, but it's studying nonetheless. love potions are of no real interest to harry as a whole, but magic is magic, as the way the world goes. there's little that isn't worth learning.

fool feels apt enough. he takes a taste as experimental wizards do — if he can't read about octopi skin in any of his school books, he'll have to experience it firsthand. logic would dictate that if he hasn't heard about this before, the effect must not be terribly strong. luckily, logic is often something harry finds himself lacking, so when he starts feeling a tickle of something funny thirty minutes later, he has the uh oh thought before his thoughts are entirely swept away by one thing.

[There's a snap of someone's fingers from down the hall, and whatever feathers have scattered in Harry's direction abruptly disappear. The source of said snap appears to be a middle-aged goth, wearing sunglasses indoors and carrying a box that indicates some kind of move is in progress (out of this building, as it happens, but that may be beside the point just now).]

[ Elizabeth had been happily exploring her new surroundings, right up until she'd spotted a feather on the ground. Curious, she'd picked it up and found another nearby, then another, as though they're laid out in a trail for her to follow. It's not until she has a full handful of feathers that she realises how dizzy she feels, and she struggles to keep her balance for a moment. As she steadies herself, the hallucination sets in: Songbird swooping down straight toward her. She feels her heart sink and the blood drain from her face - she has no idea how he followed her into this world, but she knew deep down that she'd never be able to escape him.

She does the only thing she can think to do - run. Diving into a side street, she presses herself against the wall until Songbird has flown past, then dives into the nearest building to find a place to hide until he's gone. She glances behind her, paranoia written all over her face, before noticing that she's not alone here. ]

Sorry for bursting in. I just need to lay low for a minute. Unless you've a back door?

[ It had been near impossible to find any manner of seafood in a flying city, so Elizabeth is particularly curious to try the octopus, and she's pleasantly surprised at how much she enjoys it. The effects take a little while to sink in, but when they do, they hit hard. She can't stop herself from staring at every little thing the people around her do, the way they hold themselves or the sound of their voices. She's enthralled in a much deeper way than her usual curiosity and she thinks it would be a shame not to let them know the effect they're having on her. ]

Excuse me... I know this is a little forward of me, but I just had to let you know that you have the loveliest eyes.

Today has been a lot. She would've thought waking up on another world would've been no problem for her at this point, but it still felt wrong. Especially since she has only just reunited with Sora and Riku just a few months ago. The first thing Jason was aware of was that the air was cold, and he wasn't in his bed. That, by itself, was enough to bring him from the bare edge of consciousness that he'd learned to sleep in for years to full wakefulness inside a second. Instincts flaring up in an instant as he pulled himself free from the crystalline restraints, he dropped to a crouch, eyes darting around frantically, taking in everything.

Unknown location. Nothing moving. Take stock of surroundings.

His eyes fell on the familiar old brahmin-leather bag, slightly more entombed than he'd been.

Not completely unarmed. Check bag. Clothes. Good.

He dressed hurriedly, still frantically searching for any signs of movement on the technicolor horizon.

Rest of bag. Caps. Paulson's revolver. Ammo. Occam's Razor. Perforator gone, gauss rifle, Jingwei's sword, Harkness's rifle, none of them here. No alien tech. Pip-
The Pip-Boy was seized, and he breathed a sigh of relief. Still had the Pip-Boy. No access to VATS without his suit, that was bad, but he'd managed before he'd got the suit. Red's bandana... This last item was used to tie his hair back. Motion sensors picking up nothing but me. Damn. Wait...

There. Flickering into view, at the very edge of the Pip-Boy's sensor range. A green blip. Jason inhaled. Either it was someone... or something. Either way, he was moving towards it. Gun in one hand, knife in the other, and with extreme care.

Jason's head was reeling. Another planet. Somehow he'd found his way to another actual planet. And there were other humans here. He'd suspected the Prismals weren't being honest, and the less he had to do with them, the better, but... another planet...

He was only dragged out of his thoughts by the sudden yelping of a dog, as the door to their 'waiting area' opened- and his heart leapt into his throat as one of their 'hosts' was very nearly dragged through by seventy pounds of pedigreed mutt bounded through the open doorway, ripping the lead free- and into Jason mid-standing-up. Vaguely annoyed, the lunar knight straightened himself. "I was going to ask if this belonged to anyone, since we just picked it up, but I think that question's been answered..."

Not that Jason was inclined to care. The anxiety, for a moment, was gone, and he sat up with difficulty, pushing the nearly-hysterical canine back slightly. "Dogmeat- down- How the hell'd they get you here too, boy-"

This... this was something he could do. It had taken a few days to... acclimate to the idea of being on another world, to the incredibly goddamn weird culture of Prismatica- but he'd seen the notice needing medical aid, and jumped at the chance. It would be nice, he'd thought. To do something he liked doing, that definitely didn't involve any violence. You know, helping people. Actually putting all those hours he'd helped in the Dad's clinic to use.

And then the quantum space magic bullshit crystals had started floating and shooting spikes at people, he was dashing for the locker he'd kept his clothes in, and now he was frantically pulling out gun and knife.

"Oh, yeah. Get involved in the community, help out at the hospital, it'll be-" Blam. "-great! It's a HOSPITAL. You're gonna be-" Blam. "-HELPING PEOPLE. Definitely not gonna have to SHOOT ANYONE at the HOSPITAL." He's probably fine.

Something golden and flowery flies past Jason's face and straight towards the crystal cluster at downright unsafe trajectories. The keyblade spins itself into a blur until its "teeth" embed into the surface of the dazzling crystal, cracking its entire body. Whoever threw the thing with such force must be massively buff-

"Wait, if I can call it back, I wonder if I can- woah woah woah WOAH!" In a burst of golden light, Kairi is face-to-crystal with the odd monster, keyblade in hand. "Okay, that's pretty cool. HA!" She kicks the crystal with both feet, dislodging her keyblade from the abomination and destroying it.

Panting, Kairi turns to Jason, cocking her head to the side. "Hey, are you alright?"

I AM THE TERROR THAT FLAPS IN THE NIGHT

[ Yoohyun grasps the first feather he found that slip through the vents, canting his head in confusion before ultimately destroying it. With no messages to appear of whether or not it may be a useful item he assumes it must be either something dangerous or useless; it doesn't take long for him to have this sense of unease confirmed. But as the hours pass the more feathers he sees, and some manage to sneak into corners that he initially cannot see -- spreading out until he's finally hit with the rumored hallucinations.

His irritation runs high, blood coursing through his veins until he finally leaves his flat. Unfamiliar voices, his head feeling as if it's a moment from splitting before it goes numb and his entire vision blurs, the constant twists and turns of symptoms doing a number on his stomach before he's bent over a fake plant in the apartment hallway. Emptying his stomach, the salamander drags away from his eye in concern and begins to run across his face.

He spits, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. He's an S-Rank being effected by something unknown, it's as confusing as it is irritating to experience and it's noticeable in his voice despite it sounding hoarse from vomiting. ]

This whole building needs to be burnt down.

[ Higher resistance to certain elements means that the effects of the octopi skin is delayed far longer than he initially imagined; another test, after what he had experienced in his own flat, to see how different his body was on this moon. It's an inconvenience but he's learned from Yoojin that it's better to examine things properly, even if it means doing something reckless -- and if he takes the opportunity to learn now that may prevent his brother from making the same mistakes, if he happens to show up.

That's what he tells himself, latching onto the possibility as his anxieties run a little less high as time passes. Slowly, but surely, Yoohyun is hit with a great wave of affection. To the person closes to him, who still cannot rival Yoojin in importance but is within his reach of being subject to his needlessly affectionate ass.

But that's only after he stops another Prismal from approaching his fellow moonblessed from behind. Obviously influenced by the octopi skin but aiming for the person who Yoohyun is currently (temporarily) pining for, twisting their arm without any mercy and watching as they drop to their knees. ]

Don't touch. [ A demand that's accompanied by a scowl. ] They're with me, go find someone else.

[ He shouts upon seeing a flash of bright light, narrowly dodging the diamond spears that fly past and impaling themselves to the wall with a powerful thud.

Yoohyun grips the sword in his hand with newly found vigor, the crystal formation floating higher into the air when he extends an arm and swings horizontally. The blade makes a sharp sound as it cuts the air, front foot holding his weight; it's a powerful blow. ]

So, maybe not so normal as he stares at the other and tries to figure out what he's talking about. Which building? There are a lot of them around here, and Prompto crosses his arms, frowning slightly as he glances over him and then back behind him like he completely understands the situation when, in fact, he does not. ]

Uh. Sure, but... why? [ Is there a reason? Should he be paranoid too? ] You feeling okay, dude? Maybe you should sit down.

[ Not that there's anything close by to sit on except the ground, but they're also not too far from his place. So, he thinks about navigating the guy that way if things get any worse. ]

[ it was a nice enough apartment. well furbished, enough space. less spartan than obi-wan had expected. and of course, a view you could adjust to your liking. there were many people on coruscant who didn't have such luxuries. the thought of it turns his stomach still. the only unusual aspect was having a roommate though obi-wan hasn't forgotten his time in the creche and the jedi were always connected.

out of whimsy, he shifts the view to that of the galaxy. stars emblazon the windows, soft twinkling lights in the dark. obi-wan smiles to himself before turning when he hears the door slide open. ]

[ obi-wan stumbles, dizzy. he had managed to clear out most of the feathers (by frivolous use of the force. thankfully anakin wasn't here to see it), but he accidentally picked up a few involuntarily. he's not sure how he's out of his apartment or where he's going, swerving left and right. his hand drifts to his saber. it feels as though his connection to the force is amplified, hearing everyone at once and unable to shut it out. he squeezes his eyes shut.

and through it out, obi-wan can hear him. his words, like a river, focus on the present, padawan. heed the living moment.

[1. Arrival]

[Sabo is still jellylegged when he's released from examination -- no he was not going to sit there tamely like a good little boy while an unknown government flunky poked and prodded at him! But the stun gun won, and he's gotten through the examination now, regaining motor coordination as his escort leads him patiently to the docks. Apparently, he's neither arrested nor in any actual trouble for the resistance he put up. Once they're aboard the vessel, he finds a spot he can sit until the pins-and-needles feeling of the weapon they used on him fades away. He's tense, nervous, not entirely sure any of this is actually real.

Apparently he's not the first new arrival -- Moonblessed, whatever -- to take poorly to being pawed at.

In any case, this transport looks like nothing he's ever been on, and annoyance is gradually overcome by courtesy as he pulls together enough to stop staggering like a drunkard and starts poking his way around the place. Some of the others onboard look as disoriented and generally poleaxed as he feels, and if any of them look up for a bit of conversation, he'll approach to strike up a chat.

[2. The Terror That Flaps in the Night (B)]

[Feathers are very flammable, aren't they? And Sabo can always use a chance to practice the fire powers that are still pretty new for him. So he's gathered up a big bowl full of the feathers spitting out the air vents and taken them outside for a little target practice. At first, he picks up one feather at a time, flicking or blowing it into the air, then lobbing the smallest and most controlled little burst of flame at it that he can manage.

Then he graduates to two, three, and finally, a handful at a time, tossing them up and picking them off one by one.

... Feathers are very flammable. Passersby may find themselves inadvertently showered in flaming sparks, or taking a floating feather to the face -- with all of the difficulty that brings.

And, doesn't contact with the feathers cause some problems? Sabo's not expecting any, since he only touches any given feather for a brief moment, but toxicity can build up, too, and as his practice session wears on, he starts eyeing the shadows nervously and watching anyone who gets too close with visible unease.]

[Sabo was on general housekeeping duty, but with these weird crystalline... things starting to get aggressive, that's turned into combat duty. And being how he's in a hospital, with things like oxygen supply for people who need it, throwing a bunch of fireballs around is... not advisable, at least for as long as he can remember that that's the case. So instead, he's got his trusty long metal pipe in one hand, the other black with Armament. Pipe and martial arts are better for shattering living crystal, anyway.

He sees his current foe reach out toward another temporary hospital worker--]

[And lunges to push your character out of the way, and hopefully not into anything painful, to avoid the spearing crystalline spear. He catches the spear in his Armament-coated hand, and it cracks in his grip but does not shatter.]

[It's one of the rare days where Ace has literally nothing to do. He's got no dates, no work, nothing on the agenda and Luffy is out on his own for the time being. So before grabbing something to eat, he decides to wander about. It's nothing exciting, just a lazy sort of jaunt. Who knew that doctoring would be so easy? (Nursing, technically, but that phrasing just felt weird to Kairi.) Well, it wasn't exactly easy—the patients thrashed and bit too much for that—but it felt... good? Yeah, Kairi was going to settle on good. It was nice to actually help people instead of beating vaguely-humanoid shadowy monsters over the head with a giant supposedly key shaped thing.

She also had a moral obligation to help, right? Kairi's Princess of Heart stuff was supposed to protect her from corrupting influence. Or something. Whatever, a good deed was a good deed, and so here Kairi was in the break room after a long day hard at work, breathing in steam from the cup of coffee in her hands.

"Oh! Looks like you've had a bit of a day too." She smiles. "Do you want a cuppa?"

But of course, because this was her life Kairi was talking about, not a day went by before everything went upside down and sideways and she was fighting for her life. Again.

"Does this universe just hate me or something?" Kairi grumble-yells as she smashes Destiny's Embrace into a crystal formation. "Is it against cosmic law to let me have one day without something like this happens t- EEK!" She narrowly dodges out of the way of a diamond spear and decides to stop complaining to no-one, flailing her keyblade at one of the monoliths. Okay it was probably time to stop talking and focus on fighting and protecting the ward she was supposed to be guarding

It's evident that Kairi is outnumbered and outmatched. As overpowering as her sheer brute strength is, the crystalline entities are durable. She's going to need some help taking them down.

And help Kairi was going to receive, as a blast of magic would slam into one of the formations and shatter it, since the other girl had already damaged it. But it was with that and a charge forward that Aqua ended up next to the other girl.

Her question dies on her lips, because they have bigger problems as more of those formations close around them.

"Nevermind, we have more important things to deal with right now," she said, fire already beginning to gather around her keyblade. Actually launching it as a Firaga spell wouldn't be smart indoors, but thankfully that's not all Aqua can do with her magic, as instead she charges forward and swipes at another one, the fire increasing the damage but not actually destroying it like she was expecting.

[This was humiliating . When they said it involved a nurse outfit, Shinjiro had assumed they meant something like a typical outfit you'd find in most hospitals. Not...a nurse costume that appears to be attempting to cover all his curves.

This place was just constantly testing his patience. If someone else looked at him, he kept glaring with enough looks to kill that most people backed off. Doing mostly tasks that involved muscle work, he was busy pushing carts or helping others with their own work.]

Ozpin can be found wandering the city, cane in hand, as he looks rather deep in thought. He'll be flexing his fingers as he wanders, eyes totally not paying much heed to where he's going, the city background noise as he walks. He doesn't seem to be paying too much attention to where he's going though, so sorry if he runs into you. ] Oh. My apologies. I wasn't watching where I was going.

[ Because he's too busy internally screaming about what the hell is going on?! ] You wouldn't happen to know where to get a decent cup of cocoa, would you? I tend to think better when I have a cup.

[ Once he's finally come to accept his current body and situation Ozpin can be found wandering the halls of the apartment units. He'll let out a thoughtful hum every now and then as he makes to enter one of the units, a curious look on his features, if you happen to be trying for the same one. He'll hold open the door like a gentleman as he nods his head. ] Looking into the same one, hm? After you.

[ He's seems way too calm for a recent arrival but, well, he's pretty good a compartmentalizing. ]

[ Ozpin being the ever helpful and protective sort will be monitoring things at the hospital, so it's no surprise if he's bitten one evening while trying to help an otherwise aggravated patient. No good deed goes unpunished, right? Well he doesn't make a big fuss about it, but the symptoms are alarmingly fast to take hold. After all he didn't have much chroma to begin with. He'll be leaning against a wall, cane the only thing keeping him up, as he grips his left arm. The crystallization taking hold as he lets the heaviness of his body stop him in his tracks. ]

[ Having recovered fully from the viral infection Ozpin is back up and running. Luckily for you because those monolithic beasts sure could use some cane to the face. It doesn't look like much and Ozpin doesn't seem like much but once he's on the defensive it's no question how out of the monolith's league Ozpin is. His fighting style is a mixture of defensive and offensive as he takes out those formations mostly by himself. Using his barrier to deflect and protect the staff and patients of the hospital. ] Get them out of here! I'll handle this.

[ In the midst of it all there might be a crystal spear heading in Ozpin's general direction as he takes on another one of those monoliths. He doesn't seem to notice as he jumps and dodges some attacks. A warning or even helping would be appreciated. ]

[ Well, you know, he was warned and foretold about this but actually going through it is well...something. Ozpin is decked out in deer antlers, which are black fading into a deep green at the tips. He might be looking at them with some curiosity as he runs a hand along them. Huh. Along with the antlers he'll have matching markings on his body as well. ] Fascinating.

[ That's one way to look at it. If he's affected by his heat he certainly isn't showing it. Because that would mean he's toeing the line of getting romantically involved with someone, and he's been so burned by that he isn't even going to try. We all know what happened last time and he's not about that life. ]

[As someone who came from a fishing village that was known for its octopus - and whose life was deeply enterwined with the animal to boot - LB naturally feels an inclination to check out the Coiled Hearts Festival. As this was a new area for her, she's especially curious to the culture here, and how their customs might compare from the bit of her childhood that she could remember. Being very familiar with the behaviors of a normal octopus, she at first watches other people play some sort of flute by the shore.

Upon hearing the noises it made, though, LB can't help but let out a genuine giggle. She looks a little embarassed about it, trying to cover her mouth with a hand, but the amusement can't be wiped from her eyes.]

Do people here really think that something like that will actually make the octopi draw near? [The tone in her voice is incredulous, not knowing that yes, indeed it would work. But hey, once she's proven wrong, she'll at least prove to be a world class octopus wrangler.]

[Or, in another timeline, perhaps LB doesn't quite anticipate the powers of the milky white ink substance spraying her in the face and her clothes. She grimaces from the feel of the slimy texture, though she doesn't look as weirded out by it as one might think - this definitely wasn't her first run in with ink.]

Maybe I've lost my touch? Hahaha? [She wonders out loud, the laughter perhaps sounding a little odd, as it didn't necessarily indicate humor from herself. However, before one might say something in response, LB grimaces before sharply turning to the side, promptly throwing up. She does her best to try to avoid anyone with it, but upon seeing the puddle, she looks a little fascinated.]

[However, after that run-in with the ink, LB wanders to the nearby clothing boutique, as she really didn't want to go anywhere with an ink stain like that! She still wasn't certain of all the good qualities of herself, but at the very least, she knew others valued her appearance, so she put worth in that as well.

As she was still recovering from recently regaining her sanity (after nearly a decade) and learning to live her life as a human, rather than a beast, she seems a little intimidated in seeing the sheer amount of clothes she could choose from. After wearing just plugsuits for a very long time, LB really actually wasn't quite certain of what her style even was.

Frowning, she leafs through a few racks of clothes, before turning to a random person nearby.]

What kind of clothing is popular here? [The idea was to try to blend in with the general populace here, so standing out in an unfavorable way was not ideal. However, as she was used to tight fitting clothing, she's definitely more inclined to go for the more revealing and body concious clothing.] Do people like to show off their body, maybe? Hehe?

[Devil's Village, her childhood hometown, was especially known for consuming dishes made of octopus. So, in spite of her most traumatic experience resulting because of a cult's hatred of the village for that very fact (yes, for real, MGS backstories, man), she can't help but feel a longing to join the seminar in hopes of regaining some part of her childhood back. Even if the PTSD that resulted from her trauma made her wish she could forget. In spite of all that, though, she can't deny that she really did miss the taste of octopus.

As the dish is placed in front of her later, though, LB still hesitates. She knew that the cult that tormented her (and fucked her mind beyond belief) couldn't possibly be here, but she still can't help but feel some fear in indulging herself. What if there was a group of people like them here? Could she possibly risk the same thing happening all over again?

She didn't even mind the idea of the aphrodisiac, but for how long she's just staring at the plate of food, possibly it might seem strange to someone nearby? Especially with the amount of nervous laughter that she wished she could quell coming out of her.]

It's not collapse. He just sort of deflates outside his apartment, head in his hands, curled up like a frightened child because it is so loud and at any moment they will come for him and he will be dragged away to a place worse then this. He cuts a pretty weird figure, dressed in a late 50s suit practically drenched in sweat.

The first person to approach him gets a wild panicked - manic look before he makes a grab for their shoulders.]

[It's funny, the more things change...the more they stay the same. To many, being torn from their world is something traumatic, or at the very least something extremely memorable, But to Sothis, she's little more than bemused at the change of surroundings as if it were a minor inconvenience.

But for it being such a minor thing...why does she feel compelled to stay? Nothing seems familiar to her, and yet a part of her can't shake the feeling she's needs to be here, that the if she were to do otherwise a terrible fate would occur...

Of course that could just be an irrational thought spurred by the moment.

Sothis, lost in her thoughts casually walks the streets paying no attention to anyone. She would've stayed lost in her thoughts but something else catches her attention, but that something is no less of an annoyance]

[There's dark forces about, and the worst kind are the few that take the shape of otherwise innocuous things, to let their would be victims let their guard down and fall prey to evil whims.

Sothis knows not of the exact nature of the feathers, but she knows they must be destroyed. She enters the room with the evil feathers and casually raises one of her arms, it a moment the feathers burst into flame as the entire room once filled with feathers is now filled with flames, but the girl the middle of it all calmly stands in the middle.

She turns back to notice someone else with her.]

[Disease. Something that has plagued every living creature for as long as life has existed. Though she cannot remember curing anyone, she cannot help but shake the feeling has before in the past, made all the worse by the doctors saying she could with "moonblessing", until fairly recently she had never even heard the term, but she cannot find it herself to disagree with any of them.]

[That sure is a huge, hulking figure of a man wearing...Basically nothin' at all! (Including nothing covering his ass, if you're unfortunate enough to catch him from the back. Or fortunate. It's a very, very nice ass.) Said behemoth is playing the flute with unnatural skill, though he looks overjoyed at the fact that he's able to make the flute make pretty noises somewhat lyrical to the ears. As far as weird aquatic moaning goes, I guess?? He perks up even more when the octopi draw close en masse, swaying to his own 'music' as they bob in the water--

And then he reaches out with a bare hand to grab one. While the one he grabs is duly restrained, the small mob he's attracted with his horny flute music all duly squirt white ink at Wamuu, both out of general excitement and agitation.

So. Uh. If you didn't catch him playing flute, there's a high chance that you'll catch him, stonefaced and holding a squirming octopus while streams of white roll down his cheeks and out of his nostrils.]

[Look. If there's no reason for him to be completely antagonistic towards humanity, then why not help them? (Besides, do the Prismals count as humans? They're Prismals! Different, he's sure.) The point is that Wamuu is now helping out with the patients struck down by this crystallised illness; he's particularly taken by flower delivery and cleaning up all those crystal shards.

When said shards form monoliths, however, and threaten to ruin everyone's hard work by murdering the patients, that's just not jiving with Wamuu's stance on observing modern Lunatian culture. You might be staring down a monolith or trying to shield some injured Prismals from them, and that's enough for him to decide to come over and help.

Any spears that impale him get shrugged off with ease until he resembles a gem-speckled hedgehog instead of a large, almost naked man. That's fine, though. As long as he can keep hitting the monolith, pain doesn't matter. And any spears or risk to the patients he's currently protecting? Get blown off-course by...Wind coming out of organic, fleshy vents sliding out from beneath his skin. Gross. But effective! Still, even though he's more than capable of beating up a rock formation on his lonesome, that doesn't mean that he's willing to waste the possible resource that you provide.]

Either help fight off these beings, or prepare to remove these spears from me. I will heal fine once they are removed, but I cannot heal through them like I normally would.
