Her mind slips into analyzing the injury first and foremost, and though there's agony in her at seeing one of her precious girls injured like this, she can see the wound's not life-threatening. Painful, and it needs to be cleaned and treated right away, but she'll be okay.
That hand... Summer's brain screams to know what happened there, but she can't ask that right now. She has to deal with the current injuries before she can look to the past ones. No matter how much they horrify her.
