[Aqua was more or less prepared to face the worst, and by prepare I mean scream a lot and mentally scream to herself "why does this always happen to me!?", since that seems to just be her lot in life. But out of the blue, comes her blonde haired savior, scooping her up to and rushing her to safety...albeit in the most gruff uncouth way possible, but at times like these you take what you can get.
Naturally she screams for the first bit before "eventually" dying down as the tentacled mass of octos faded in distance and both their image and moaning grew more distant.
Once they were both a safe distance far far away, slides off Cloud's shoulder and stares at him with teared up eyes and sniffling]

[She hugs him despite being being covered in...you know, but stops once she felt urge to vomit
