[ Had Cloud been a fresh arrival to this world, the fact that Maria was effectively shoulder to shoulder with him as they shared screen space would have made him uncomfortable. ...perhaps that wasn't the best choice of word. Embarrassed? He wasn't used to being physically close to strangers. And though this wasn't intimate, it still would have jarred him. Now though? With well over half a year of experiencing this world under his belt? He only briefly looks to her with an innocent blink when she's against his side. And then it's back to teaching!

Seeing Maria bring up her own and playing with it to follow along, he can't help the twinge of amusement on his face. She's eager to follow along, and it only bolsters his confidence more. Okay, can't start slipping now! Gotta make sure to live up to his offer even more. ]

[ As she pokes and goes through her device, he takes a second to scroll through his messages without opening any conversations up. Though with every passing second...for some reason? That's getting more and more difficult to manage. He becomes more interested in Maria's screen. More interested in what she's doing. It's gotta be because he's just showing her how this works, right? ...right? ]

[ Cloud finds himself relaxing more and more beside her, placing his device down for now so he can reach in for her screen, brushing across her hand along the way and swiping down so it takes her straight to the top. ]
