She looks around, putting a claw on one of the crystals to slowly gouge a small bit of it away. She inspects the mark she made on the surface with a hand on her mouth in musing.

"Hmmm... Well, we're probably still alive, so that means we oughta stay that way. Stick with me kid, I'll protect you!" She says, giving him a brightly gleaming sharp-toothed grin.
