He went at a pace that would be easy for his father to keep up with him and have them not get separated. He didn't want to lose him again, even for a moment. Not so soon.

"Then not long at all. Later I can show you around to the shops around here."

Not long later, they arrived at a house that looked about the same as all the others in the area, nearby to a rather large one. Jiang Cheng opened the door and held it open for his father.

Inside, it was decorated with a lot of knickknacks, most of which didn't really fit with Jiang Cheng's personal sense of decorating, but they were allowed to stay. In the living room was a birdcage with a metal bird in it.
