[She's never heard of the Winter Cup, but she's well familiar with the concept of semi-finals. If his team was good enough to make it that far in any tournament they must be pretty good. Competitive sports are a thing she enjoys watching (or participating in, but there's rarely time for that beyond gym class when she has to hold back anyway).
It reminds her that she's going to need to figure out whether she should go with a new cover story, or continue to temporarily ditch the split identity deal...]
