An old soul who tends to... think of himself as an observer of humanity and society, rather than a "part" of it, lending him to coming off as... sort of offputting - he has a tendency to say odd or morbid things, casually pose morally-controversial questions, muse on matters that might not be appealing to all, etc. - put apart from that and his introverted, aloof, and serious attitude, he does like people, enjoys teaching others what he's learned over his studies, and has an affable and polite air.
He's also got a whole lotta dark secrets under his belt, but... don't... we all...?
