Alphonse is probably obvious. Someone needs to be around to keep Ed in line, and the setting might lead to some interesting interactions. Winry might also be kind of obvious considering how their relationship develops in the series (though this might only be applicable to mangahood Winry, but I'm definitely still open to '03 too).

Honestly, I'd be happy to see any FMA character.

Character: The Knight
Canon: Hollow Knight



The incarnation of the void, of darkness. The one who united all darkness within themselves. The creature that swallowed the light itself. Not bug, nor beast, nor god.

But aren't they just so adorable?

The Knight is the main character of Hollow Knight, a silent protagonist (literally, they are stated to have no voice) who travels through the kingdom of Hallownest to complete their mysterious quest. Long story short, they turn out to be the nearly destroyed kingdom's last hope, and a perfect example of flipping the "light good, darkness bad" trope on its head.

They're a fierce fighter, but also generally heroic and doesn't tend to fight if they have a choice. They're also a very good listener. And their body, being made of pure darkness, is... pretty malleable.

Canon: Lost Girl

To make it short, Kenzi comes from a world in which fairies, gods, and other mythological creatures have always existed, though they are collectively known as the Fae. They live side by side with humans often indistinguishable from them except for their special abilities. They keep their existence a secret as many Fae need to feed on humans in order to survive. Which is cool and all but Kenzi is human and she gets introduced to this world when a succubus named Bo saves her from a potentially very bad situation.

Kenzi is quick-witted, immature, sarcastic, flirty, and a bit greedy. She's spent years on the street prior to meeting Bo so she's used to looking out for herself and is quite the thief and conwoman.

Not sure what pull-point I'd go with. Possibly around S2 or 3 so she has room to grow (since she does grow and mature quite a bit over the course of the series).

Canon: D&D OC

Bliv is a gnome (so she's like 2'9") that originates from a homebrew D&D setting in which demons/devils invaded the prime material realm and really fucked everything up leading to the Church gaining too much control. She's a wizard/artificer (she carries a big magic gun and knows how to enchant things).

She's a massive nerd, has no experience with people, prefers books and her mechanical creations to pretty much everything.

Otome is a 24-year-old doctor who is very much the mom friend, and also happens to be capable of summoning demons from her cellphone. It's a thing, all the cool kids do it. She will adopt every child. Every child. And if you hurt a child, she will snap you over her shapely delicate knee. :')

Otherwise, she's very sweet and caring, and may or may not teasingly flirt or just flat-out tease, but has also dealt with an apocalypse (or... two.... or three.....) so she's good to have around for all kinds of problems!


Character: Fiore Forvedge Yggdmillennia
Canon: Fate/Apocrypha

In a series where like the majority of the Masters are terrible, terrible people who don't respect their Servants--

Fiore is one of the very few who is not! Hooray! She's a girl in a wheelchair who also happens to be a magus, and is able to control a set of four metallic arms that allow her to move around, attack, and defend (this is the abridged version because fate/anything is ridiculous).

Anyway, she's a good girl who is probably the nicest magus and that, by fate/etc. standards means she probably shouldn't be a magus at all, but she's resourceful and polite and badass when she gets the chance, I may have a type.

I am currently torn between these two ladies, so please help--

I'll admit I've also always kind of wanted to play off an Unalaq even though no one gives a shit about him? But honestly I'd like to see anyone from Legend of Korra era and ATLA era! I will say I'm a little more interested in gen CR with castmates than shipping but like, we can see what happens. Maybe there will be smooching? Who knows.

Character: Rean Schwarzer
Canon: Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel

Rean Schwarzer is the protagonist of the Cold Steel saga of Trails of Cold Steel and he's your almost typical JPRG protagonist: he's rather selfless (as in he'll put his friends first before himself) and has natural leader tendencies, even if he doesn't necessarily see himself as one. He also doesn't struggles a bit with confidence and sometimes feels a bit aimless, not to mention that he has an ogre power (also known as Spirit Unification) that kind of turns his hair white and his eyes red and gives him immense strength that he can't entirely control and that kind of leads to self-deprecation sometimes... he's just Like That. He's also sometimes a pushover that winds up helping others a lot for fetch quests even though he sometimes doesn't want to. Although even though he might be like that, he also can go with the verbal punches and also uses a sword (specifically a tachi) to fight.

He got enough charisma and charm to make his male fans kneel for him, he just That Powerful. Of course, once you warm up to him, he can become a precious friend that will make sure you are fashionable!

A masked wyvern rider that doesn't really want to get close to anyone, but he actually got some heavy emotional baggage due to losing his parents in a Bad End hellscape and going back to the past despite being against it at first with other kids to help their parents win this big battle. Gerome is pretty serious, stick-in-a-mud that hides his emotions behind his cool mask, but he actually pretty shy and is soft for his dearest wyvern Minerva. Surrounded by idiots like the one below, but he will fight for his idiots.

A super-vain multitalented performing android who loves others' attention and admiration as well as living a fast and lux-y life! Mettaton has a witty mind and an ambitious "get ahead" streak a mile wide as well as a tendency to overdo things and overindulge himself, and he tends to put himself first and have a cruel sense of humor - but at the heart of it, he's a hype man and true emcee who does hold his ability to have a positive effect on others in high regard even outside of his job as an entertainer.

Canon: Dangan Ronpa

Korekiyo is a teen prodigy cultural anthropologist and folklorist who's been everywhere and seen most everything - and done a surprising number of things the average person hasn't, too, but details, details. An old soul who tends to... think of himself as an observer of humanity and society, rather than a "part" of it, lending him to coming off as... sort of offputting - he has a tendency to say odd or morbid things, casually pose morally-controversial questions, muse on matters that might not be appealing to all, etc. - put apart from that and his introverted, aloof, and serious attitude, he does like people, enjoys teaching others what he's learned over his studies, and has an affable and polite air.

He's also got a whole lotta dark secrets under his belt, but... don't... we all...?

Grimnir is what happens when you make a god in a laboratory and he ends up a chuunibyou idiot. Controls the wind to deadly effect but is easily distracted by people he thinks are cool, occasionally forgets the ridiculously long speeches he writes for himself and just descends into Megumi Ogata squawking, and probably has multiple ten-word nicknames for his dick.

The only real speedbump is while he's certainly got personality in spades I'd really feel better about an actual app with a fate episode or two to rely on so please pray for me that he gets released this GW.

Shiro's the famed young pilot who went to Kerberos and was "lost" aka kidnapped by aliens and tortured, forced to fight in gladiator arenas, then escaped back to Earth and found by his best friend (keith) and the other Garrison group-turned-Paladins. A lot happens to him that are spoilers, but he's a military guy, loves space, and wants to help those harmed by the Empire. He's skilled in military tactics, hand-to-hand, and piloting aircrafts/spacecrafts.

I only worry because I'm a bit new to playing him and not that confident yet!
