So I've been thinking on and off about bringing this guy in recent months, and this month might be the time for it! Nidai's pretty much a ridiculous, intense, over-the-top team manager who can act as the loudest life coach for others. He's passionate and pushes others to give it their all, sometimes a bit too much. Nidai can also pretty much compliment and flirt with anyone, and assess their athletic potential. He also exhibits both extremes of maturity - sometimes he can act as a true Team Dad with legit wise advice, but he's also capable of being immature and laughing about bodily functions. Yes, he is a meme for being blunt about his bathroom business, and I should probably also attach a disclaimer that I have no interest in bathroom stuff myself beyond his toilet humor. He also has a heart condition, but is also very jacked and capable of having intense shonen sparring matches with others? And that's not getting into his massaging skill (nsfw link), which will likely be even more potent in this setting. He's a lot of things... basically, he's A Lot.

He'll most likely be post-canon. And I'm deciding between Cordis and Sanguis towards him - leaning towards Cordis I think!

The anime that reignited the sports anime genre!! citation needed also known as That Gay Swimming Anime. Okay, okay, for real it’s a sports anime about a group of boys starting up a swim club more for funsies than anything else at first but it ends up triggering feels when a childhood friend returns from Australia and with an attitude to boot. Drama and water that has no right looking as gorgeous as it does animated ensues (legit I could actually go on about the animation quality of the swimmers alone but now isn’t time for my animation boner AHEM).

Makoto Tachibana is one of those boys, a gentle giant of a young man who specializes in backstroke, being the Team Mom, is afraid of dogs (and ghosts), and is fab with kids. I haven’t watched Season 3 so I’d be pulling him from while he and Haruka are apartment hunting for college so he’s 18 going on 19!

One of the remaining seven Daughters of Aku and formerly an antagonist bent on killing Jack, she completely changed her outlook on life by the end of Season 5. Ashi grew up mostly learning to fight and little else so average, mundane things intrigue her a great deal.

I'd probably run with Sanguis with her just because, well, she is quite the fighter already.

Character: Maria Renard
Canon: Castlevania
Hailing from the end of Symphony of the Night Maria is the adopted sister (in a way?) of Richter Belmont and his wife Annette after the death of her parents at Dracula's hands. And thanks to some tampering she had her magical abilities awakened as a child and is good bros with four guardian spirits.

For her I'd likely give Sanguis a try too. One of her guardian spirits is a dragon so that'd be fun to play around with.

Known as Henry VIII's fifth wife beheaded for 'promiscuity', there's so much more to Katherine than meets the eye. She's a vivacious late-teens pop star with a fondness for pink hair and pink clothes. There's much more to her than just sex and rock and roll, though, she's a girl who has always wanted to find The One, but just keeps getting used.

lio is the leader of the mad burnish, a group of burnish (humans that can manipulate fire as well as create fire from their own inner flames) that oppose experimentation on their own people. despite having destructive powers, lio doesn't believe in using his fire to kill living beings instead opting to burn buildings down while leaving escape routes and utilizing other such methods to protect those who cannot defend themselves. his hope is to one day establish a self-sufficient home for the burnish that is far away from humans, especially those who wish to imprison or experiment on them, so they can live in peace. he is considered to be intelligent and an excellent leader, but his emotions can be a liability at times.

I was here before with one of HQ darlings (a salty darling) but it didn't fit much because of the age. Now at where the manga is, this darling boy of mine is 23 (he still looks the same!! magic!! as if five years didn't happen!!) and it will be more manageable (I hope!)

This is Bokuto Kotarou and, without giving many spoilers on the manga, I will just say in short that he's bright, beefy, a little dense sunshine, prone to doing stupid stuff, very affectionate and at times says very sincere and deep things. He was captain of the volleyball team in high school, now he's in division 1 pro team, MSBY Black Jackals, 23 years old, playing as the outside hitter (if it vball lingo matters to anyone 8D). He sometimes tends to have mood swings, vball is life, he'll probably try to start his own team in Prisma, and despite the beef and the looks, he needs supervision. Constant supervision.
