THE QUESTIONS MEME

HOW TO PLAY:
• Leave a comment below with your name and the characters who you play.
• Respond to others' comments with questions - they can be about their characters, their current in-game plans or things they'd like to play, their CR, RP in general, their canons and fandoms, or most anything else.
• Answer questions you've received! Keep it short or TL;DR to your heart's content, depending on how much you have or are in the mood to say!
• After each answer you give, ask a question back to the person who answered you. Keep the thread of questioning up for as long as both parties are game!
• Go for it - make friends, make new plans, make anything you like!

asthmatic heart failure kills people. but as for why he's a spirit and not just dead, so in bunaru there are these monsters called taints that are eating literature? like erasing the stories and removing their effects on the people who read them. this is bad, so you (an alchemist) transmigrate some famous dead authors to go fight the taints and protect Literature.

it's swordboys but for authorboys

does jinba have an anime and if so would you recommend

fneklfnwe people die when they are killed yes... okay, that actually makes sense, I get it now??? Protecting all of literature HOW NOBLE

It does not and I highly doubt it ever will bc my experiences with centaurs in anime have been Tragically Animated but maybe that's just because up until this point the only anime centaurs are usually low budget monster musume things instead of dark survival tales... if it did I would still recommend it just because I love Jinba so much...

Is the split personality thing based off something, or is it just more a authorboys trope thing?

authors in bunaru are affected by their works and how they're perceived, so like, the kids' lit authors are children now? atsushi's works have a lot of themes of duality and man having dual natures, like his most famous story is a man who turns into a tiger so. it's a thing!

what is your favorite manga if it is not jinba

Ooooh gotcha, Fate/ mechanics have prepared me to understand this concept... !

Next to Jinba, maybe... /looks over at bookshelf... Pandora Hearts??? For just overall goodness, amazing characters, emotionality, and story tightness through to the end! Also really digging Zone-00 but that's almost 100% an aesthetics thing.

Who is your fav bunaru author that isn't Atsushi?

fun fact atsushi is maybe my like... fifth favorite. my actual favorite is nakahara chuuya, a loud angry alcoholic poet coping extremely poorly with child loss. i cry every time.

where does one read jinba if one wishes to read it

Oh hey surprise... and also, sounds like ouch...

One joins this discord where I posted imgur links to the scanlations bc I'm terrified of the j-cops arresting me lmfao

What made you pick Atsushi to play, then?

secret society of scanlations

i'd already played my top two (chuuya and dazai) in multiple games before and I wanted to try someone new, and prisma seemed like a place where i could get a good balance of outer doing things to inner doing things

if you didn't play konoha, who would you play here?
