Alex, I could legitimately go on forever about how much I appreciate you. You're hell of a great friend that I've been glad to bond with, and your writing skills are so damned good. Your little details in some of the more emotional tags really read into your characters more than any dialogue, and that's a sign of a great writer, especially to me. I honestly have a hard time paying attention to prose since I'm so impatient, but you just capture my attention and it's like /chef's kiss

I know we mentioned this before, but I sincerely did not expect how deeply close Abbacchio and Reimi would be. From their very first interaction, they clicked in a way, and just grow wildly from there to the point of adopting each other as family. It's crazy to think about how far they've gotten, but it also works perfectly for both of them as characters. I always liked Reimi from DiU, but man you really made me love her even more.

AND MAN. Your Jotaro. Nothing can really compare. You have such a good delicate balance of him from immediately at the end of SDC. His PTSD, his regret, but his usual "I'm so bad at talking so hopefully everyone can just read my mind and know what I mean" behavior. I know we already shipped Alucard and Jotaro from our PSLs, but I was also just prepared for them to do whatever here without any expectations. Turned out they just click so damned well anyway!

I WOULDN'T EVEN BE HERE IF IT WASN'T FOR YOU. Like I know I like telling this story more than I probably should but it's still funny to me that literally my entire decision-to-app process boiled down to "hmm who should I app" / "app Reimi" / "OK" and look at me now. FUCKING SUPERB IMPULSE DECISION.

I think the thing I love about Abba and Reimi is how utterly organic their CR has been, to the point that I don't think any of their major milestones were pre-planned (outside of like HA HA THEY BOTH WORK AT THE SAME SHITTY RESTAURANT). And yet somehow they just ended up loving each other so much and it's always a little wild to me that Abba, a twenty-something former police officer and Stand user, sees Reimi as "the strong one". It's so good and so interesting and I just love how his flaws play off of her strengths and vice versa.

I've actually played Jotaro from this canonpoint in a couple different games now, and I have to say, the one common theme among all three experiences is that his whole trajectory seems to take its cue from Some Person He Meets On His First Day™. And in Prisma it's gotten especially interesting because the addition of regular moonlacing/Chroma generation sort of precludes him from feeling bad if he wants to be able to summon Star (which he does), so in Prisma he's gone in the new (to me) and interesting direction of "I'm happy and 1) I sort of don't feel like I should be this happy somehow and 2) I'm afraid this might go away somehow and then I'll feel like That Again". And it's really nice to have a person he feels completely comfortable with in Alucard because that gives me avenues to bring out more of that inner conflict, where with a lot of people he'd tend more to conceal and deflect it. So basically I'm incredibly grateful for their CR and the fact that they hit it off the way they did.
