Soldier: 76 (Jack Morrison)

AGE: A secret. Presumably he’s in the 55-57 range.
HEIGHT/STATURE: 6’1”
WEIGHT/BUILD: 210-220 lbs. He doesn’t quite have the muscle definition he used to because he’s on the run and not taking care of himself and not actively maintaining like, 6-pack abs, but he’s built and sturdy and vaguely dorito-shaped with nice arms.
GENDER: Male.
RELATIONSHIP STATUS: Terminally single, emotionally unavailable, and married to his job instead of a person. Generally he’s of the belief that he missed the boat on a spouse and family due to the nature of his career (and also he faked his own death) and doesn't deserve regular people things like significant others. He’s warmed up to the idea of Chroma generation vis-à-vis physical intimacy but it’s been a very long time since he’s let anyone close to him, so it’s slow going.
HAIR: White, formerly blonde.
EYES: Blue.
ORIGIN: Bloomington, Indiana, on Overwatch Earth (born circa 2020ish) but he traveled everywhere to FIGHT A WAR and presumably lived in Switzerland while Overwatch was functional (so, for much of his adult life). It is currently 2076 and before he ended up in Prisma he was in Egypt. He gets around.
LANGUAGE: English, but as the 20-year head of an international peacekeeping force he has extremely basic knowledge of a handful of other languages, at least enough to not make a fool of himself in front of diplomats and politicians. Conversational in Spanish and Arabic.

VISION

76 usually waltzes around in approximately fifty pounds of tactical gear. He carries himself with purpose and stands tall and firm. He's been a soldier longer than he’s been anything else, so military formality is more-or-less ingrained into the very fiber of his being. He knows he is large and intimidating and he carries himself to that effect. Underneath, he’s heavily scarred, most notably across his face. If you manage to get him shirtless he’s also got some kind of gross black scarring from a wound that is Not Quite Right. 76 is slightly unshaven more often than not and is generally old and stressed out with a somewhat unfortunate receding hairline.

We don’t see him in civilian wear much in canon, but when we do it’s almost exclusively tight shirts and fatigues. When he’s trying to be a regular person in Prisma, he wears turtlenecks and bomber jackets in dark/neutral colors. He has no real sense of fashion beyond “utilitarian”. Back in the day, he cleaned up pretty nice.

SOUND

76 sounds like he’s chain smoked for the last 30 years (except somehow that is not the case). War….war never changes. You can the (slightly) softer nicer version from before everything went to hell right here.

SCENT

Leather, pulse munitions. Gun. Non-fancy soap. Sometimes alcohol if it is a particularly bad day. S…weat….

MISC.

He’s kind of a shady hobo? He doesn’t take very good care of himself and is roughed up and disheveled more often than not because that’s just how he lives.

76 was genetically augmented in his late teens/ early twenties as part of an experimental (and controversial!) US government “soldier enhancement program”. As a result, he has greatly increased strength, speed, agility, stamina, and durability. He’s able to perform superhuman physical feats and maintains a kind of homeostasis that helps him adapt to harsh environments. He can take physical punishment beyond what can be withstood by a normal human, and bounces back from injury faster with an accelerated healing factor. However, his enhancements have been shown to falter under the influence of a debilitating biological agent, and generally speaking it’s implied that he’s become less able with age.
