Yeah, but I don't see her anywhere around here, do you?

NGL I thought about it way back when I joined the game but I don't think I'd have anything for her to do except pester zaShunina

Honestly, I think there's actually quite a lot of potential there for character development in both directions. Even before the whole "amnesia" thing, zaShunina was largely defanged without access to his anisotropic toys, which would force the negotiator to actually, you know, negotiate.

And maybe they'd both walk away having learned something.

But you're right in that it's usually a bad idea to app a character for one specific CR, so I understand as interesting as I think it'd be to have her around.

To be honest it's also difficult for me to actually imagine how the CR would flesh out. I think my reductionism gets in the way; 'the dignity to try and fail even if it means suffering versus abating suffering by being coddled' is such thoroughly tread ground in both moral philosophy and science fiction that I tend to feel that there's nothing more to actually say about it and that gets in the way expressing Saraka's actual passion for the former.

Fair enough.
I mean he is currently post-series and had his memories wiped thanks to Yukika destroying a good chunk of his information, so if she wanted to try to convince him of the virtues of human struggling, she might actually have a chance, but. Not trying to pressure you, though, just humoring myself with the possibility.
