Shopping buddies!! Huaisang has been learning about modern fashion he's very excited about showing off all the leggy. Also magic friends, though Huaisang's magic is limited compared to his canonmates and he tends to downplay it. He's got a magic hammerspace pouch full of booze, though, so surely that counts for something.
NO WORRIES I love yanyou but huaisang sounds amazing too. Magnus will be especially happy to help old timey folks update their look, since he's lived through 800 years of fashion!
He's done much of his makeover on his own, embracing skirts and backless gowns especially because of access for his fox tail or luna moth wings during cordis, but he'd love to have a fashion friend to advise him, also please teach him makeup.
He keeps other things in the booze pouch (alternate fans so he always has one to match his outfit, flowers he thought were pretty, prettily-wrapped bundles of tea he can give as gifts, a change of clothes in case his night gets more exciting than he'd planned, sex toys, lube), but really the priority is the booze.
Magnus is only very good at makeup using his magic, but he can definitely show him how to put a look together! So he can coordinate his eyeshadow with his fan.
He also loves tea and flowers as much as booze, and tbh Magnus values random gifts a lot (he's a pretty powerful warlock so back home most ppl just don't give him stuff, assuming he can conjure anything he wants anyway... Which is true but it's the SENTIMENT u know) so he would be delighted to get a small gift of any kind. Alec gave him a $5 charm and he swooned for a week.
