I can't predict how Hijikata will interact with Andrew, but Andrew is so cute! I hope I get an opportunity to throw this samurai cop at him one of these days.

i'll admit, i'm pretty much totally canonblind, but I'd love to test the waters and see how they mesh sometime soon! i feel it can go either way, knowing andrew.

Gintama is kind of an odd show. It's set in samurai times, but has all sorts of modern concepts and amenities (introduced by invading aliens), and while it's comedic nonsense at the outset it gets increasingly intense and serious. So it really is hard to tell how things will go, but I'm looking forward to having them meet!
