okay, but? same since i'm somewhat so deep in the fandom right now that people keep talking about ryugoro and i start to think... oh nice... i think whether they're just acquaintances or something further there's definitely potential there! i'm still making up my mind on how royal turned out but i'm way more endeared to akechi than i used to be for sure

i'll keep thinking! personally i don't really factor royal into ryuji's portrayal regardless, i think i'm shooting for right before scramble so he doesn't quite get the reunion he expected with everyone... we'll see...

There's definite potential there, once Ryuji finds out that Akechi's not the spoiled brat he thought he was and Akechi gets the 'payback for all the insults you hurled at me' out of his system. He's openly bi here, so the only reason he'd deny finding Ryuji attractive is because he's wary of him.

Akechi's from vanilla too, but Royal did at least show us how Ryuji would have acted if given a chance to talk to Akechi after Shido's Palace.

yeah for sure. i hear discourse every so often but i'm all, okay, they both have daddy issues, when ryuji tampers his ego and anger problems down he's a pretty warm and forgiving dude, so if he'd stop and listen to akechi, then...!

it'd still play a part in characterization, totally. i've headcanoned for ages ryuji's due for an either hilarious or low-key bi awakening, so... the shenanigans we could get into here...

And Akechi's the kind of person who would appreciate the fact that he at least always knows what Ryuji really thinks. He's known enough two-faced manipulators in his life that someone as earnest as Ryuji would just be...refreshing.

Oh Ryuji. Just admit you find Ren hot, everyone else does.

I'm glad you did! Akechi and Ryuji reaching an understanding is an arc I've wanted to play for a while.

Despite the size, Prisma is a fairly relaxed and low pressure game, so no need to worry too much.

I'll keep an eye out for you when the TDM goes up.
