▶ That’s Not a Space Station, It’s a Moon

You awaken amidst the darkness with only a faint light to greet you as you awaken. Your body is hemmed in by shards of crystals, gently sparkling and possibly pricking your skin. The surrounding landscape is dyed in the pinks and purples of the dusk filled with crystals protruding from the ground, some as large as a skyscraper. Even the few shy moon creatures you find in the wild have strange crystal growths on their hides. This is far from home— perhaps a dream? You pinch your skin and slap your cheeks, yet nothing seems to do the trick. Searching for answers yields nothing but an endless expanse of purple dust as far as the eye can see. You have four options: one, panic; two, soil yourself; three, admire it all then soil yourself; or four, go into survival mode. Eventually, you’ll realize that you’re not alone.

After a day or two of living off the crystal wilderness, a group of people find you worse for wear. They are the gallant Moon Knights from the planet of Prismatica. After the strange phenomenon during the third month when scientists observed the sudden appearance of rainbow crystals in the sky, the government has been feverishly combing through the moon for any Moonblessed to be rescued. You’ll eventually be brought into Iris’s moon government center.

You all may have your usual inquiries — Where are we? Who are you? What's going on? Am I paying for all those drugs I took back in the '70s? — and the Prismals are almost too eager to answer. They tell you about their world and about the first appearance of the Moonblessed as the medical staff give you an examination to make sure you’re not carrying any viruses or biological hazards. If you react violently, you may be restrained and nerfed with a specialized neurotransmitting gun that releases a numbing agent through the top of your spine. Once the examinations are over, you’re informed that you will be provided accommodations on their planet during your stay.

While waiting for transport to be prepared, they recommend that you visit the government archives. The collection features a variety of fiction and non-fiction books, including an eclectic romance and erotica section with titles such as: The Moon Knight's Ravishing, Armed and Amorous: A Forbidden Tale between a Dragon and a Moon Knight, and Silk and Satin, Leather and Moonlace. Also notable are informative textbooks such as Delightful Dragons and Where To Do Them and From Argos to Zhavidar: A History of Alchemy. As you read these books, the photos and illustrations come to life on each page, moving within their borders. It seems this is the norm on Prismatica.

A ⬤ Several librarian droids like to move in and around the archives, zapping anyone who dares utter a single word above a whisper. Silence is absolutely crucial for study and concentration, thus these droids have zero tolerance for sound. If you are caught making noise, be prepared to be chased and have your eyebrows singed off by a disgruntled droid.

B ⬤ Within the library, you will find an occult section which contains various low-budget spellbooks. This section houses a variety of cantrips and basic charms that don't seem to work for the Moonblessed except the occasional, odd fluke spell which will shrink you to the size of a thumb or cause odd sound effects such as fog horns or pterodactyl screeches to come out of your mouth. Please use with caution! The librarians aren't responsible for any mishaps that occur as a result of reading spells out loud, but if you ask nicely they might direct you to a book that has a way to immediately reverse it if you don’t want to wait it out. All effects are temporary.

Eventually you’re called to the docks and led onto a large transport vessel. Destination: Prismatica.

▶ She wants to lead the glamorous life

Welcome to Prismatica’s hub, Lunatia, the city of your dreams! A bustling metropolis lush with bright lights, vibrant colors, luxuriant plant life, and all the conveniences of technology absent from your own world… It seems like paradise to all the uninitiated.

Before you can enjoy the surrounding shopping centers, they will be dealing with all the standard security checks from some handsy droids that will feel you up, examine your weapons, possibly even cavity search. Nothing like the loving touch of a cool metallic hand.

A ⬤ There’s a gift shop right outside Crystarium Moonports with a huge, eye-catching poster promoting their 80% clearance sale. A must-have souvenir from Lunatia is a memory stone — special blue stones mined from Cordis that can project a happy memory from your days in the city if you rub them the right way. If you need new clothes, this is the perfect chance to grab a shirt with media sweetheart Maria's lovely bedazzled face on it. You might even hear her hit song playing in the store...

While browsing, you overhear a crisp zap! followed by a group of children jumping for joy. They got just the toy they wanted from the high-tech gacha machines lined up in front of the store. Since you have some chroma to spare, why don’t you give them a go? The Mallow Bunnies is all the rage among all Lunatians. Adults are particularly fond of their sleepy series. On the other end of the spectrum, there are also these... uh... what are these? If you can’t whale get the one you want, don’t worry! You can always trade with your fellow Moonblessed. It might pay off to get some extras, too. You never know when you’ll need to sweeten your deals...

B ⬤ The ads are all over the billboards with their neon colors, energetic beats and seductive billion-polygon assets: you too can be a goddess with a blade in League Match Action Online, Prismatica’s number one VR MOBA game! The next LmaO world championship is later in the year, and the grand prize is rumored to be 15 million demichroma. If you want to get a team together, now’s the perfect time to start. In the meantime, try your luck at the smaller tournaments in the lower Levels. You might meet your future teammates and rivals there.

Or you know, just have fun with it. Relax, it’s just a game!

▶ That Smell is Exactly What You Think It Is

On Level 1, you may encounter construction workers rebuilding damaged properties. When asked they’ll answer, "Oh, it was just a bit of a mishap a while ago. It's all been contained now. Nothing to worry about." A couple of streets are cracked and covered in debris, as if a huge monster had crawled under the pavement. Surrounding walls have gaping holes, and dried up viscous white fluid stains some buildings.

A ⬤ While most of the streets are back to normal, there are several areas that local Swiffy bots have yet to thoroughly clean such as the sewers and the backstreets. If you’re interested in helping, necessary tools and materials will be provided. You may team up with your fellow cohorts to scrub, scrape and sweep the vines’ remains. It is very likely that you will find some decaying roots with a rotting, corpse-like smell that makes your stomach turn. Though these plants have already dried and wilted, there are still a few stubborn vines and dried sap that won’t come off no matter how many times you try. Good thing they let you borrow nifty liquefying rayguns! These guns can turn natural waste into clear, thin and biodegradable slime that rolls off surfaces and into the sewers if not sucked into the vacuums of Lunatia’s trusty Swiffy bots. Careful: the raygun also works on fabrics!

H ⬤ Getting around is another adventure. When you head to the subways, you will be met with the misfortune of train carts stopping abruptly at intervals, making you careen into other passengers. Maybe you’ll accidentally land on someone’s seat or get someone pinned against the wall. The trains aren’t fully functional at the moment due to recent events, so doors might not open and stops might be missed as you circle through the endless track.

Might as well strike up some conversation. The news is seen overhead, detailing the attack of the Vinea vehementi from a few days ago. The reporter warns of increased robbery incidents since the attack. Due to the grief, trauma, and debts accumulated from the damages, some Prismals have resorted to pickpocketing in an attempt to recover their losses. Of much less importance is the uptick in stolen underwear cases in the city after the planet-wide release of the B movie Stalking Panty, in which the main character Knickers gains newfound confidence after discovering his talents as an Iris Moonheld and an undercover panty thief.

Moon Knights and kind neighbors warn you of the dangers, but will that stop you from going out at night? You can start hiding your Midlife Sanguis Ninja Turtle boxers, or you can take justice into your own hands.

What is in the History of Alchemy book? Would you say it is similar to the alchemy in Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood or not?

Greed is a FMA:B character and so alchemy is something he knows about and has predetermined ideas about, and a book with that title might therefore arouse his curiosity.

When she is first found, Zelda's initial reaction is to give her so-called saviors a piece of her mind, to let them know just how displeased she was with these events--how much she needed to be anywhere but here. And then there was the mention of archives.

A place where she could possibly find the information on her own. Why trust these strangers when she could find her own way out? Had that not been her solution to her troubles since she had first learned that letters on a page made words?

However, much of this material seemed...out of the realm of her needs. Armed and Armous: A Forbidden Tale between-- "Oh my--Ow!"

Apparently, her exclamation of surprise was too loud for the roaming bots, machines that had her more than a little nervous following the betrayal of the Guardians back home. Maybe she had found herself in the wrong section.

"I don't suppose you could--ow! Is that necessary? I was merely--" Another shock, another wince. "I was merely asking a question."

B: A Sweet Temptation

A library with a strange collection of books, a city that was a far cry from home...In all honesty, she was tired. But exhaustion had never kept her from moving before. And here? Here should couldn't afford to stop moving. She had too many questions, too many things she needed to discover, too much curiosity that she needed to fulfill.

Which would be how she found herself in the middle of a shopping center, both wide-eyed with excitement and overwhelmed by all that was going on. Her attention, however, is caught with the delighted laughter of children crowded around by a collection of machines out front of a shop. She's tentative in her approach, but Zelda eventually finds herself in front of the machines, eyeing the eclectic collection of toys, particularly drawn to the rabbit-like figures.

"I suppose they are rather...cute."

[Sidon had also made his way to the shopping district, just where he ended up in his exploration of the city as well. All the lights were so weirdly bright, everything seemed loud, it was a rather crowded and busy area. He was not opposed to it, however, he simply wasn't used to it.

Truthfully he would rather be able to be somewhere with large bodies of water but-! This place was fine.

When he saw a certain blonde walking through the district he had to stop and stare. She looked... familiar, but he couldn't quite place it. He had seen her before, hadn't he? Her pointed ears told him that she was a Hylian, and that sort of familiarity made him jog over to her. Once he was in front of her he spread his arms wide, smiling down at her.]

You there! Enjoying the machines, are we? If you haven't already tried them, then I encourage you to give them a go! They are rather exciting!

[Sidon gripped his fist, a definite ding of light reflecting his shiny teeth. Though he brought a hand up to his chin to hold it as he looked off to the side.]

Welcome Adventurer

This is not Crystal Peak.

They aren't entirely certain where they are, although as far as the Knight knows, they really shouldn't be anywhere right now. So that's not too surprising. Surveying their surroundings, the Knight begins to search for anything useful or helpful... though given they no longer have a goal to reach, they're not sure what sort of use they could put anything too.

So what they end up doing is finding other people and coming close. Listening to people tends to prove helpful in their experience, and they've gotten very good at it. So they make their way over to wherever people can be found, and proceed to stand nearby, watching, listening.

And certainly not looking at all creepy.

B: Quest Accepted

After a while of wandering around this strange, bright city, mostly at night while that frightening bright ball isn't overhead, the Knight comes across some people attempting to get rid of some strange-looking dead plants. Curious as ever, the Knight wanders over, only to find themselves drafted into aiding the efforts.

Putting up absolutely no resistance (after all, what else would they do with their time?) the Knight does what they always do with an objective and throws themselves into their work. Despite their short stature, they prove very strong, digging up and tossing aside several larger roots.

The ones that require the rayguns, however, they might have a little trouble with. The Knight, whenever it finds one of these, attempts pulling, prying, stabbing with the strange nail-like weapon on its back, but nothing works. Maybe give them a hand? They'll absolutely return the favor.

C: Travel Montage

The Knight knows proper etiquette for traveling on a train. Calm and relaxed as always, they hop up onto one of the seats and casually sit there, waiting for the train to stop so they can check out a new place.

Unless, of course, they find themselves sitting right next to someone. Then, they will turn their full attention to that person, stare at them unendingly, and do precisely nothing else.

They don't understand at all why this might freak someone out.

[ ... this was not the new years present that genji would have expected.

being transported here from a giant crystal in front of a crowd of onlookers - that sounded like something out of a science fiction novel. something he would have experienced in virtual reality, not the real world.

and yet, here he was. first on a moon, then poked and prodded by scientists who were fascinated by the lights in his armor, provided a communicator and a card, and finally sent to the nearby planet with instructions to find himself an apartment.

now here he was on this lunatia, in a city made of gleaming metal and neon lights, mixed with lush greenery. it was not unfamiliar to him in appearance, but he did not know the layout, nor quite how to conduct himself.

so, of course, he was on his best behavior... mostly.

the first thing he did was get distracted by the gachapon machines. he doesn't have much, but he has managed to collect a couple of cute, fat dogs in his using chroma. he seems to enjoy them, but once he gets a double, he looks around for someone to trade with.

seeing someone with a different character, he offers his double. ]

[ he was not required to assist in the clean up of these vines, but he thought it best to ingratiate himself to the natives, and perhaps have a chance to speak to other newcomers who thought the same.

so, he's been hard at work scrubbing off the less-stubborn remains. when it comes time to break out the ray guns, however, he seems absolutely giddy. what person wouldn't be, getting to use a ray gun.

perhaps he gets to bond with someone over this. or perhaps he gets too enthusiastic and he accidentally liquefies a shoe off (he wouldn't just point it full bodily) at someone. ]

[ genji has learned about these moon cycles, how it affects others, from both the scientists and other arrivals. but he did not expect to be affected so rapidly with the cordis cycle. of course it would be a blue moon that drove him to madness...

he takes after the fox side of the cordis family when affected. he has to abandon the mask he normally wears to allow his muzzle to spread out, scars criss-crossing the red fur there. he has a head of black and green hair, through which red fox ears peek out of, cresting high on his head.

the rest of his body changes, though the cybernetics of his body remain. there's a muscular, furred and clawed arm on one side, while an armor-covered clawed arm is on his other side. he's shaped quite like those old cinema werewolves, but not quite as hulking - more lithe, like the fox he's actually taking after. there's a long, fluffy tail sprouting from his tailbone as well, somehow pushed through the armor he normally wears.

despite his change in appearance, he seems quite unbothered. indeed, he's very brazen in approaching and flirting with characters, or impishly trying to chase other transformed cordis moonblessed.

if someone seems less playful, he might drop to all fours and croon at them, inviting someone to pet his ears or tail.

of course, when he's feeling less playful, he's more likely to retreat to his apartment - or try to climb a nearby building in order to run along the rooftops. ]

Shh. This is a Library!

Libraries weren't a normal place that Lady liked to spend a lot of time, but she wanted to kill some time before she got on the transport. She looked rather board as she wandered between the shelves. Books never really held much of a draw for her. She had other things that she could be doing, but waking up on a strange crystal moon tended to throw a wrench into things. And she had a job to finish as well.

Taking a deep breath, the demon hunter did her best to stay calm and not think about the financial hit she was taking by suddenly waking up in a strange place. At least the other times that she had been in weird places, she had chosen to go there. And she doubted a certain pair of half demon brothers had anything to do with this.

Now if only she could find said half demon brothers. She doubted that they were here, but she could still look around.

Game on!

To those who knew Lady, she never seemed to be one to enjoy video games, but she was taking a small interest in this VR game. She wasn't really one to use swords, she was better with ranged weapons. She knew how to fight against people with swords, but she was still usually using a gun.

It still looked a bit fun, but she wasn't going to be forming a team any time soon. She wanted to gather more information about the people that were here and see if there was any way that she could do something similar to what she was doing back home. She doubted that there were demons to hunt here, but maybe she could become a bounty hunter of sorts.

She continued to watch some low level matches, making notes about how different people played the game.

Traversing the city had started to a take a physical toll on Nico. She wasn't as fit as Nero or any of the others which is why she felt the most comfortable behind the wheel. Having grown used to driving her sorry ass everywhere spoiled her and now that she had to walk so much, it was exhausting. Stopping to take a breather, she'd light up another smoke and clear some of the space around her. Amazing how quickly folks moved away once a cigarette was lit.

The match going on did little to hold her attention as she peered around at the individuals watching. A mix-matched assortment of folks so there was no easy way to tell who was blessed like herself and who wasn't. Not that she considered it much of a blessing to be abducted and thrown on an alien planet somewhere, but it's not the wildest thing she heard in her life. Fortuna had its fair share of crazed zealots after all.

Upon seeing a familiar bod in the crowd, her lips parted in surprise which caused her cig to drop to the ground. At least she spared a quick boot smash to put it out before pushing her way through the sea of people.

"Yo Lady!" Is this her lucky day or what? What were the odds of seeing someone familiar here? Her mind is a bit too distracted by other thoughts to pinpoint the exact calculation, but the number was pretty damn low. "The hell you doing here?"

[A little while ago you might've seen (or even pet) a fat, striped gray cat ambling around the library. She's not making a whole lot of fuss-- just hanging around and wandering, looking for any friendly strangers to scratch her behind the ears before taking off on her own way again. Cute, right?

Several minutes later, however, she's followed by a dark-haired man skidding around the corner, closely tailed by a suspicious pack of droids.]

[Shit, was that too loud? It sure was. The droids behind him rear up, irritated, and approach him a little more insistently. Travis takes a few long steps forward in an attempt to keep quiet and keep them off his back. (It's not working.)

Travis hasn't even made it to the actual video games. It's only been a little while, but he's lost an embarrassing chunk of chroma on gacha alone. He's drawing a crowd of people watching him go at it, actually: largely little kids mooching off his doubles and cute girls fawning over Jeane, who's nearby and idly batting the empty capsules around while Travis is otherwise occupied.]

[When it comes to fashion, Nobunaga's.....well. We all have our own tastes. In any case she's still rummaging through what's available at the gift shop not too far from where you're standing; if you happened to catch sight of her in her stylish looking military uniform earlier, you'll find now she...well, isn't anymore. She's popping the cap onto her head, which likely has some kind of Maria related promotional branding on it...not a skull or oda symbol, much to her disappointment.]

To think some of this junk didn't get snatched up already! It's surprising to say the least.

[ There's undoubtedly a lot of questions floating around, but Charlemagne doesn't linger on them. It's not like him to allow any complications to heave him down! Rather than delve on those, Charlemagne's attention is focused on the Moon Knights. Who are these guys? They look cool! In fact, setting aside the mysteriousness of everything, this place looks awesome too!

Fast forward after the medical examinations, Charlemagne takes the suggestion given and decides to explore the library. He wouldn't consider himself a studious type, but he still knows how to appreciate books. After all, someone amazing out there wrote all these words and put together something just as impressive! ]

Whoaaa!! Where do I even begin?

[ Something decides to answer him with a strong zap. A librarian droid is now staring at him, warning him to keep it down. ]

[ Standing in front of the gacha machines, Charlemagne is pressing his face against one of them. He's trying so hard to look through the glass, curiosity overwhelming. What are these things? He's never seen such contraptions in the Moon Cell before. That happens when your hands are too tied up to do any proper explorations. But it's that fact which excites him more, now that he has the chance to do much more, he'll be sure to take advantage of this!

Once he figures out how to earn money! ]

3B. THAT SMELL IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU THINK IT IS.

[ Malfunctioning trains? All right, that's fine. There's probably a good reason for that happening. Charlemagne carefreely walks around the train cart despite the inconvenience. Once again, he's pressing his face against whatever glass window he can peek through, not giving a thought if it's dangerous considering the state of the transport.

He's just really, really interested in viewing this sparkly city! Everywhere he turns his eyes, there seems to be something new, causing him to randomly gape like a child on a school trip. Someone should probably tell him not to lean against the glass too much. If lean at all. ]

[Hakuno, used to life in a post-vinepocalyptic city, had been reading an e-book when somebody clambered onto the seat ahead of her and plastered himself up against the windows. It's a lovely view to be fair, since they're stuck halfway across a bridge.

She glances up reflexively, then back down at her book.

[There is absolutely nothing about this experience Charle is remotely familiar with, with perhaps the unique exception of a landscape covered in crystals. It feels odd already, that that's the most ordinary thing to him, considering how many others look like they're, ah... not enjoying the rude awakening. But he's fine! His incredibly extra outfit might not make it out of here without a few tears, and he spends most of his time staring at his floating book for two whole days, but he's fine.

Just please, remind him to eat something before the knights show up, because he's going to forget.

By the time he's released to his own devices inside the government center, his instinct is to go for the library. The bawdy novels are funny and charming in their own way, certainly, but it's the spellbooks that get his attention. He can be found surrounded by at least a dozen of them, flipping through a few at a time, murmuring to himself.]

All of them are something you have to say out loud...? Even the concept is exhausting.

[Putting all of these books back? Also going to be exhausting. He's made a mess here and it is right in the way.]

Tries to, anyway... such amazing concepts as screen-printed t-shirts are genuinely not something Charle has ever seen before, so he will be spending a longer than necessary amount of time, in his headmaster's robes, looking back and forth between a Maria shirt printed on black fabric and one that's on blue fabric. Hmmm!!! Decisions, decisions...

Later he might be found out front by the machines, literally keeping two children apart while they shout at each other about some kind of prize-related issue. Something something, the child on the left promised the one on the right this particular Mallow Bunny and how dare they break their promise now...?!

Charle isn't frazzled, as such, but he's committed to dealing with this conflict for some reason and realized his mistake too late. Oops.]

[Getting on a train in a city you don't know well? Already a mistake. When the train isn't even working properly? Even worse! Charle has learned this the hard way...

...like an hour ago, because he's been sitting here, occasionally jostled around by sharp turns for some time now. It's ridiculous, but he figures, sooner or later there will be a stop at least close to something he recognizes... no.

[She's been taking this all with stride, as best as she can. None of it really make sense--she's really not sure how she has a physical body anymore but uh, here she is? Hm.

While she didn't expect the pictures to move, it's a nice touch, until she gets to an particularly erotic scene. Her face turns red and she yelps, practically flinging the book away from herself in her haste to fumble it closed. She presses a hand to her chest and looks around, embarrassed, at anyone who happens to be near-by]

I-I apologize...

[B. Glamorous Life]

[Everything is just dazzling. The bright colors, the loud sounds, the people everywhere--it's a far cry from the world she's left behind.

She wanders in a bit of a daze before finally it all becomes a bit too overwhelming for her and she ducks into a nearby alley, leaning against the wall and holding her trident tightly to her. A deep breath and she rests her head back against the wall, pressing a hand to her forehead.

After another moment to calm herself she peeks out and looks around, before speaking up to anyone near-by who looks like they might be a little more used to this sort of place] Is there anyplace... Quieter? It's a bit overwhelming here, if I may be honest.

[C. That Smell -- Part 1]

[Perhaps it's just a particularly nice night for a walk, where the sun's just set and it's still nice out. Everything seems fine, nothing out of the ordinary, except... Someone appears to be following you.

Concerning, or maybe not. Maybe it's just a coincidence, except you're pretty sure you've seen that same person a lot in the past little while, just sort of always there. Or maybe you never noticed at all!

In either case, perhaps the person successfully manages the ol' 'bump into and swipe their wallet (or other valuables)' routine, but it doesn't really matter since Mipha is there a few seconds after, the sharp prongs of her trident pointed at the perpetrator's neck.]

[D. That Smell - Part 2]

[She's never been on a train before, so really she's not entirely sure what to expect. People seem kind of grumpy about the missed stations or sudden stops, which she supposes means it's not normal.

For the most part she's just happy to stare out the windows and watch in awe as the world passes by. It's a beautiful, strange new world, her thoughts drifting to what she's going to do, if it's possible to get home as she is now, what could have happened...

Mipha's lost enough in her thoughts that she doesn't react in time to the sudden lurching halt of the train, sending her careening into another passenger.]

Oh! I'm so sorry! [Thankfully she's rather small, so it probably wouldn't have hurt that much, but still!] Does this sort of thing happen often on these... trains?

I... don't believe so. Though I haven't been a frequent rider on them, so it could be possible. But it doesn't seem like that would be very efficient for travel.

Still, it's a pretty nice hallucination with all these books about but made not so nice with all these robots. So, by now he's flipping through a book casually and when he see's someone approach in his peripheral he sighs. If it was another robot he swears; ]

[ He had gotten stuck on the train. For whatever reason any time he tried to get off the doors just wouldn't open and it would keep going. ( spells seem inherently risky and fishy, all things considered. magic isn't a thing back on the earth he comes from, and the very idea of it seems so farfetched. then again, the crystals and the moon blessed and everything else this journey has wrought so far seems out of the ordinary - though, that's an understatement itself - so why not just suspend disbelief once more? it seems like the only possible thing to do. ... and besides, a spell book is a welcome surprise from the strangely graphic and nearly interactive books he's stumbled across so far since he's arrived here.

all this leads him to murmuring under his breath, reading aloud as he tends to do. which is normally fine, as he's by himself but (i) this is a library and (ii) those spells tend to have some effects. so naturally, one moment he's minding his own business, looking aloof, and the next, there's what only could be considered as a AIR RAID SIREN coming from his lips.

[At first, Guren is grateful for the droids. They shut people up without him having to get up and do it himself. But after a few too many zaps, screams and elabroate benny hill theme chase scenes, he shuts the complicated book he'd been reading and stands with a quiet huff of a sigh. Maybe you are a repeat offender, maybe you've successfully dodged one droid and are screaming at another, or maybe you're just about to open your mouth and make a noise that constitutes as above a whisper— whatever it is, this time, Guren claps his hand over the mouth of the noise-maker and drags them back, slightly, out of the path and between shelves.]

[It's still a whisper, albeit a hissed one, so it counts. He's still got that big book in his free hand, and he's dressed like he's military, with a sword at his hip.]

[For a long time, Guren tries to deny his interest in this competition. But he's looked at books, examined the city, questioned everyone he could— and now, the temptation of something a little more lighthearted is tugging at his heart in a way he can't explain. Nostalgia, really.

So, he slides his way into one of the lower level tournaments, looking completely out of place in his actual military uniform, and... he gets really into it. He sucks, at first, but he keeps playing, and honestly, how many hours has he been in here? Now he's making headway in the tournament, and that's all the more exciting, even if he's trying to play it off as just something he's doing because he's bored.]

[Who in their right minds would submit to a check-up after the situation they’ve all been in? Mist certainly wasn’t going to, and that’s why he’s sitting outside the examination rooms. He’s handcuffed to a chair and slumped over, you know, that feel when you misbehave on a moonbase and get numbed so you don’t cause any more problems. He’s just waiting for the feeling to come back to his hands so he can stealthily make his escape, that’s all.

Unfortunately for him, anyone can walk by and see the state he’s in. His tail lashes angrily, sometimes in an erratic pattern, along the ground, and his ears are flicked back. Someone is an angry kitty. His fangs are even poking out a little over a lip, it’s questionably adorable. If anyone spends too long staring at him, he’ll pipe up. Or maybe no one’s staring at him, but he thinks they are because his neck is a little too numb to turn his head right now.]

Keep walking. There’s nothing to see here.

[He’s never been on a train before, but he thinks he liked the spaceship more. Mist is minding his own business, trying not to think too hard about how an underwear thief is newsworthy, though he can think of a certain devil who might find the story amusing. The very next, the train lurches to a stop, and he gets up to leave only for it to start speeding forward again.

Hopefully, some of the passengers won’t mind a sudden cat boy landing in their lap quite rudely. Or, worse, pinning them to the back of the car. One moment, he’s not there, and the next there’s a tail brushing against your leg against Mist’s wishes. He also looks a little disgusted no matter who he’s just landed against.]

Couldn’t you have moved out of the way in time?

[It’s not his fault, okay? It’s the train’s. He’s a rogue, there are dexterity saves meant to prevent these kinds of things. He hates it.]

[The city is bright. Brighter than anything Mist has ever seen before. It’s gaudy, too. But nothing is as wild as those dolls the kids are playing with. They leave Mist with an unpleasant taste in his mouth. Are they cursed totems, used for some sort of ritual magic? They must be. But one man’s trash is another man’s plaything, or so the saying goes. The baby griffon he’s currently carrying in a sling is watching each toy come out of the gachapon machines with a mischievous spark in her eye.

So, hopefully you weren’t enjoying that doll too much, because one second it’s there, in your hands, and the next a griffon flies from out of nowhere, snatches it with her beak, and then lands a good twenty feet away before attempting to eat it. Immediately following this, a panicked man chases after her, the fear of god in his eyes. You can almost see his heart palpitations. The griffon immediately takes flight again, landing somewhere higher and once more attempting to chew on this mass of plastic and fake hair. She looks so proud of herself for hunting her own 'prey.']

Come down from there. Please. Don’t eat that. No—don’t—please!

[Well, well. This is quite the surprise. After all that he's experienced recently to find himself summoned somewhere new. This time without a master apparently. Though he supposes that was only a matter of time. He's been passed around so often that of course he was sure to end up without one eventually.

However, this is a unique place for him to find himself in. And he decides the suggestion of doing some light reading can't do any harm. It could prove to be enlightening. And enlightening it is. Of course, it's less so for historical information and more erotic than anything else. Still, he does find himself entertained, quietly reading one of the books he's picked up and admiring the beautiful way the text has been written on the page. There's an elegance to how this is delivered which he appreciates.

Coming to a chair, he smiles at the one there already at the table. His voice is just a whisper to maintain the silence around them as he speaks.]

Sword at his side, he walks through the streets, looking around for a location like that. He's aware someone is following him but largely he's ignoring the individual. Until they step up to do something there's nothing to be concerned about. Which quickly changes when he hears the footsteps moving faster to catch up to him. Letting out a sigh, he slowly turns to face who it is, putting a smile on his lips as he does.]

A: More Than a Little Whelmed

[Well, after waking up covered in crystal on a pink and purple planet, as well as trying to survive on said pink and purple planet for a couple of days, Aymeric is almost convinced he took a hard hit to the head in the last battle. That feeling goes away, at least, when he's found and given far more information than he actually wanted. However, it's replaced by a feeling of being overwhelmed given the level of technology in this world. Not to mention how loud the colors are. It feels like an assault on all of his senses.

Then he gets on a space shuttle, which apparently can take him and everyone else to another planet. Aymeric's starting to feel a headache coming on, but he's keeping himself under control as much as he can. It's when he steps out into the city of Lunatia that he knows he's been dropped off in the middle of an ocean, if that ocean was neon rainbow.

The Speaker of the House of Lords is at a loss for words. More than that, he thinks that his own clothes are making him stand out rather painfully, which is an odd thing to consider. With a soft sigh, Aymeric heads over to what appears to be a clothing store, and fortunately it looks like one that is slightly more on the conservative side than what he's seen on the streets so far. The only downside the elezen can see is...everything is a bright shade of color.

He's a winter, thanks.

[Aymeric isn't exactly sure how trains are supposed to work, but he's half-tempted to simply walk, even with his bags of new clothes. He's already missed his stop on accident so far, and it hasn't been a smooth ride, either. The dark-haired man is fairly certain that a chocobo has a smoother gait than this heap of metal, if only for this point in time.

Glamorous Life

Seras was rather amazed at everything around her. London was just getting back to normal and it had only been thirty years since Millennium attacked. Rebuilding such a large city took a long time and a lot of money. She did what she could to help while still protecting Sir Integra. At least Alucard had returned, but she hadn't had much time to really have a reunion with her Master before she woke up in this strange place.


At least the people seemed nice. She could take care of herself, but she had no real reason to hurt anyone here. They were just doing what they could to survive. Her odd colored eyes and missing arm didn't seem to bother people and she was able to wander the streets once the sun set just fine.

The Gatcha games caught her eyes and she wandered over to the different machines. She had never seen anything like them before and she tried out a few of them. Grinning at the cute little toys. It was a small thing, but she really enjoyed the toys.


Cleanup

Bad smells didn't bother her at all any more. She was used to the scent of blood and rotting flesh, decaying plant matter wasn't anything. She was probably one of the few people around that wasn't retching at the stench that was wafting around. She just continued to clean up what she could until she ran into something that not even her considerable strength could take care of.

She frowned a bit before she went to where someone was handing out the rayguns and upon receiving one, went back to the area she was having problems with and quickly took care of it. She kept a hold of the gun, just in case as she worked.

She was actually rather cheery as she continued, waving to other workers as they gave her odd looks for not reacting to the smell at all.

[ Finding himself on unfamiliar planets isn't exactly new to Chr'tt. He's been at this for the past fifty years or so, but the difference here is that he usually chooses what planet he winds up on, at least in some capacity. His crash landing on Earth when on the run from the intergalactic police force was a little unexpected, but he certainly saw it coming right up to the moment his ship hit dirt and decided to stop moving permanently.

He's never woken up someplace new without any idea how he got there, and he's not overwhelmed with the experience. He's already dropped a few questions about the IPF and a few major planets located in densely populated sections of the galaxy, but so far his questions have been met with a general lack of recognition.

He has no idea where he is, but despite it having a clear technological advantage on Earth, it still seems like he's stuck out in the boonies. ]

[ There's some irony in a shape-shifting alien probably looking like one of the most human figures in this library. He's wandering the shelves right now with a disgruntled look on his face, occasionally pulling a book off the shelf, and almost always shoving it right back in place.

He's not particularly interested in erotica, and would much rather read something that gave him a better idea of what mess he's gotten into this time. Though considering the sheer volume of erotica, that might actually answer part of his question...

He does stop when he finally gets to the occult section, pulling down a spell book, and glancing through it with a disbelieving smile slowly stretching across his face. By the time he gets to the end of the page he's laughing loudly. Loud enough, in fact, to have a librarian droid drifting over in warning.

Uh-oh. ]

What a mess

[ Chr'tt isn't exactly the type to lend a helping hand unless absolutely necessary, but he is the type to obnoxiously seek out answers for any occurrences he finds abnormal. Dead massive plant bits and what looks like semen coating walls? That seems relatively abnormal.

A. ( While she was in this world, Integra decided, she would have to be conservative with what Chroma she was given. Stock up on basic essentials, and hang on to the rest in case of contingency. This wouldn't be a problem in itself. She liked to think she had a good sense of restraint in spite of her upbringing. However, she was faced with one glaring issue: her clothes were entirely soaked in blood.

Not an ideal position when one is roaming the streets like this.

Cue one excessively tall woman furiously shuffling through the bargain racks of the gift shop, stopping periodically to glance upon some eye-searing neon skirts, or the shoulder pad laden jackets, as if her gaze could simply burn a hole into them. )

B. ( Of course, bettering her life in this world-- or at least, to give herself something to do, would require actively seeking for a job. A task Integra would diligently pursue. What she did not account for, however, was the absolute travesty this world touted as 'public transportation.'

Getting up from her seat might not have been the best course of action, for when she begins to make her way down the aisles, the train comes to an abrupt halt, causing her and the nearest passenger to collide against the train's walls.

Once she's able to still, she'll do her best to pull herself off of you. )

[Greed has a hell of a time choosing between the books in the library but eventually, he decides to read the History of Alchemy book. He’s never managed to succeed at alchemy - though he’s tried and tried, wanting it desperately, refusing to be less than Father - due to being just a sin made flesh, not someone with a real soul but he figures that, in order to understand where he’s ended up, he needs to know how this place’s alchemy works.]

[He doesn’t entirely understand the book - though he can recognize some of the symbols - but he can tell the alchemy of this world isn’t like that of his.]

[And once he’s realized that, he abandons the book, not wanting to relive his younger self’s frustrated attempts at alchemy. He also decides not to try out spells, figuring that they will work out the same way.]

[Media sweetheart Maria looks cute so Greed gets himself a few of the shirts with her face on it. He has enough Chroma, after all.]

[He then plays the gacha game, using his considerable Chroma reserves to get as many of the prizes as he can. The deformed little dolls are his favourites because they remind him of his kind and his Devil Nest’s chimera followers - almost human but not quite right and wonderful in their own unique way.]

[ All in all, given everything, Fiore would say she's been largely successful in achieving some sense of normality while trying her hardest to adjust. It's still not a situation she's thrilled with, but it doesn't mean she can't try her best. It's no more than what any proper magus should be able to do, carry through a situation with the utmost dignity.

... It's also a thought that comes to a halt as quickly as the train does. As ill-prepared for the sudden stop as she is, Fiore unintentionally ends up vacating her wheelchair in order to topple forward. Whether that's onto someone, into someone, or onto the floor...

[It's a cruel joke, to go to sleep in darkness, primed, waiting for the return of the King or the end of the world, only to wake in a bed of crystals remarkably similar to that which rejected him in the first place, with the natural light of dusk illuminating the sky in place of deep, unending darkness. So, Ardyn should be forgiven for assuming at first glance that this is just a trick of the Astrals, a divine punishment for whatever their whims happened to take them today. Soon enough, though, it becomes clear that... well, if it was, initially, then it isn't anymore. This isn't Eos, he can't warp back to somewhere more familiar, and... he's well and truly stuck.

At least until he's picked up by Suddenly Appearing Soldiers ("Moon Knights" apparently) - and isn't that familiar? - and whisked away to a government facility - and isn't that familiar, too?

At least they're more than willing to answer everything he could possibly want to know and then some - and isn't... you get the idea - before turning him loose on... a library?

Well, time to actually dig in to all the information he can get his hands on, ending up at a table and surrounded by a downright fortress of books, trying to discern how much he's been lied to, and - importantly - a way to get back. He's got work to do, a world to end, an upstart king to coerce into ending his miserable existence, you know, just little things.]
