Thank goodness for all those unforeseeable afflictions... but nooo, LB, that's heartbreaking (though it would be immensely well-deserved karma for Hijikata since that's pretty much exactly what he did to Mitsuba back home)! That said he doesn't want to tie her down or restrict her freedom in any way, so he'll really just pay close attention to what she wants and needs from him.
NEVER HESITATE. I'm really up for anything except poop-related stuff! I don't think he'd ever muster the nerve to outright ask her (he's very embarrassed about the whole thing), so maybe circumstances can lead to a make-out session or more the next time they're in action together, be it during an event or another Sanguis cycle backstreet crawl.
She's still trying to work through PTSD related issues, so maybe at some point she'd be ready to go more committed, but for the time being, she's still convinced that Hijikata can do better than her. Even if she does like him.
But sure! The next time they're out for Sanguis or some sort of event, we can figure out some kind of way to get the tentacles in on the action.
Yeah, there's that on her end, too... I reckon it's a good thing that neither of them actually wants that kind of commitment now; it certainly makes it easier to keep them open to other smut CR while still developing their relationship.
I'm looking forward to that!! There's no rush with this, but I'm sure an opportunity will come around. Sorry for the slow tags today, I'm bad at multitasking!
