Midorima being his normal self actually helps Takao's nerves, weird place, or not they are still friends. That is a clear thing to hold on to as his lips refuse to give a smirk to his partner. Rude, lips are rude.

Sure, totally normal to just lay under a blanket with Shin-chan absorbing Chroma that can be only had if they are in physical contact with each other. Then again, this snow hawk is so cold he would tackle those pheromones (and beat them he swears) at this point to just be warm. At least, if he has to have this happen so soon after getting here, it's with someone he trusts. It's awkward but it's safe, he isn't going to find himself in some weird position.
