deliveryhawk: (again?)

The lack of objection is good enough, he knows it's acceptance and for once, he accepts it with his own silence. It's kind of ridiculous how warm a kotatsu is in summer. Except at this point even with the added heat of Midorima's body Takao is just now feeling pleasantly warm. Not overly so or uncomfortable at all. And he can feel all ten fingers and toes.

He really wants to pull the blanket up over his face and press into it but he also knows if he moves it, there is a chance what he felt earlier when he hugged onto Midorima's chest could happen again. He will actively try to avoid that in their current position so he settles for letting his body finally relax some. Takao was tenser than he thought as he can feel muscle groups slowly let their grip go. It goes without saying, he owes Midorima. This could have been a lot worse. Maybe he is just mentally exhausted, maybe it's because it adds more warmth but he doesn't seem to notice that Midorima's arms tighten or that he snuggled in closer, to begin with.

"Why would they let guys like that perform? This place makes me feel like a piece of meat. It's so chaotic." In shark-infested waters and he really needs a life raft. What part of this place is not designed to push his buttons or other people's buttons and lead to scenarios like this and beyond?
