It's likely Hikaru had heard the traditional fairytales about Ushiwakamaru/Yoshitsune, a popular boy's hero in Japanese folklore, famously the first "bishounen" — and Shishiwakamaru always had a lot of fun playing around with humans' minds about that allusion. His own fame was his own, of course, but he had a schtick, and it was easy bragging rights, regardless of how accurate it may or may not be. Not helping his roleplaying case, but hey. Who's to say he's not an ancient legendary samurai from a fairytale, given this crazy place? It'd be like meeting the real Cinderella... ...except he's an asshole instead of a princess. ]
