Midorima is very much a fan of routine and organization. Though he owns a lot of things, it's all very organized and well-kept. It doesn't look like a mess or cluttered, really. All of the items are kept on shelves and in boxes, so if it's small it doesn't end up looking like it's just on a shelf. Probably the only TV show he's ever binge-watched is one of those organization TV shows, like Tidying Up with Marie Kondo or something like that. He's also been fascinated watching his girlfriend organize things or put things away from him. It's cathartic for him to watch, and do. So while he wouldn't notice if Takao moved something an inch, he'll notice if it's somewhere it shouldn't be, and since he knows Takao he'll have a theory exactly who did it and when.

For the time being, he takes care of his cleanliness quickly, but takes some time to sit and soak in the tub to get his head straight. If there's one thing he prides himself in, it's that he doesn't make decisions based on the moon. Takao is not someone that he'd considered doing anything with at home, and with how much work it took for Takao to get through to him, and for Midorima to let him in, that's not something he wants to complicate. And so, whatever need for chroma and stupid feelings of amour he might feel he has right now, he needs to set aside and call Kise or Weiss later tonight.

It's something he genuinely has to think about, and he uses his time alone in the bathtub to do so. He hadn't thought this through, wanting Takao here. Yes, he wants him to be here with him. But he hadn't even considered the possibility that the attraction would be there beyond their hard-developed relationship because of the way this world has changed him. There's a rule he follows, one that Eichi taught to him their first night together: the moon can make you feel certain ways, but what you do with those feelings is always your choice. Midorima is choosing to recognize that even if he trusts Takao, even if he is comfortable enough to hold him like he had earlier today, there is not an ounce of good decision making that Takao can make on his first day. He relied on Takao for a lot back home, even if he won't admit it out loud, and this is one thing he doesn't think he can easily rely on him for. This isn't something that should be a matter of reliance to begin with, and as long as he thinks of that as being a burden on Takao, it isn't something he will allow, even after his friend has a chance to adjust.

With that time to himself, and the bath water becoming cooler than is comfortable, he's at least able to make that resolution and set it in stone. Takao is off-limits, regardless of instincts or moods that change with the moons. Period.

He gets up and dries off. As Takao gets the food out, he'll hear the hair dryer start blowing because Midorima doesn't want to catch a cold from having wet hair. He comes out before it gets cold at least, and when he gets a fresh t-shirt and cargo shorts, he grabs some drawstring pants and a t-shirt down for Takao. The drawstring should keep the pants up and he can roll up the bottoms. It will be big on him, but it won't be sweaty.

"Go change, we'll go shopping after we eat."
