Yes, the tea you and I are accustomed to is made with dried leaves. And yet I'm torn...this is a common dwelling, and there are definitely common appliances and foods here. I'm hoping they wouldn't stoop so low without providing an alternative option but—

They make tea that is a powder you simply dump into hot water. Some of it even includes the milk and sugar so you don't need to pour it in yourself.

I will say I admire the ingenuity of the common man, concerned with value and speed in their daily lives...I haven't come across it for myself yet, but I didn't want to offer to make tea if I had to provide you with something so experimental. If it's anything like instant coffee, it will be acrid water at best.
