Takao would probably drop dead if he did; he never not once expects to hear how Midorima feels about him. They get their point across in other ways and show their friendship. It works for them both, and changing it would mean changing them. Takao needs Midorima to be Midorima right now. He doesn't say it, but it's grounding to have him. However, it is a thing that Weiss should someday tell Takao he was missed if only to confirm what he already knows.

Takao doubles over laughing as he is shoved off. He expected it, and of course, he does not flinch or fall into anything but that amused laugh of his. Though had he been pinned to the wall, he probably would not have laughed nearly as hard, that is not something he would expect. Midorima can rarely surprise him, but maybe that is because their patterns are so set. Takao knows how far he can push.

Yeah, he is buying that. Takao does not think for one moment Midorima would let him freeze to death let alone call a sculptor.
