Takao does not perse have his feet yet; he is still so new himself. But he has had a few good guiding hands and his run-in with what this beach-going around here can cause. So he makes it a point to check around the beach because, well, as Ren said, it would be nice to help people. Even just a pat on the back, he is not cuddling anyone else for a while, even if he knows them. He still remembers the kotatsu from "hell".

So he expects he may run into someone; what he does not expect is that he will see a Seirin uniform and a familiar figure lying dead in the sand? He is laughing before he can get close, crouching down.

"Oi, you alive?" He pokes Kuroko in the back with a finger. "Or should I bury you at sea?"

Now, this is chaotic and hilarious; Takao thinks he is about to have a real fun time. He will get around to offering chroma in the form of dragging or carrying the corpse-like Kuroko off the beach but first, he has to poke a little. It just wouldn't be him if he didn't.
