[The words are curt and stern as Louis lifts himself from his seated position on the ground, brushing off his knees. He's not angry. It's simply not worth it to be angry. If anything his eyes are more tired than before, looking at Hikaru, and while his earlier concern wasn't misplaced... it's draining, being with someone so unapologetically careless. It's a luxury the whole of his world lost in an instant, and while he should be glad for the other's utterly mundane world and utterly normal teenage behaviors, seeing his own honesty rewarded this way is—disheartening, to say the least.
... Still. He promised himself to never help halfway. Louis sighs, resolving to check in one more time.]
