There. You have two types of currency, here. Demichroma you can get by getting a job or doing certain tasks. Chroma, however, you have to generate with others-- through touch. Varying levels of intimacy can generate more or less Chroma, but you do need to keep your Chroma levels up, or else you'll start to crystallize.
