it has been 1,000 years since I have received a gagtag and it made my night so you have my heart forever for that

but in all seriousness!! I really love the cr I get between Otonashi and Mai, and while he’s not her specific Key-series protag I think they manage that same balance and it’s such a treat! They’re both sad but hey they can enjoy animal-san and friendship anyway and get some of the beautiful Key comedy in there before the tears.
