you've seen how embarrassing i was during the time we wrote on the tdm, but i'd constantly check the reserve list to see if you'd reserve, and then constantly check the app list to see if you apped, because i was thirsty for bardo AND for their cr - and now i'm really, from the bottom of my heart, thankful that we're in this game together. it brings joy greater than you can imagine...!

thank you so much for your kind words, too!!! arjuna is very special to me, and it wouldn't be arjuna if i didn't accept his issues and flaws. that's what makes me love him, what makes him such an interesting character, and even if it's hard to have steady CR with him because of that, because of how much he wants to distance himself from everyone and never ever ever allow people close to him or to his heart, i'd never give up the chance to write how heavy his regret and sins weight on him...

and likewise, i don't have words to describe how much i adore your writing. it's simple, but your attention to detail is incredible, and you only need a sentence or two to make your entire reply so captivating and beautiful to read. you made me want to play lamento all over again (which i tried getting to run on my pc, and failed, so RIP), and you made me remember how much i adore the game itself. i love how similar and yet how different bardo and arjuna are, how they try to respect each other's boundaries but bardo fails to do so, like he failed everything in his life (oof). it shows different ways people can deal with the same issues, how arjuna keeps it hidden under fifty black psyche locks and stays two arms-length away from people, and how bardo pretends his issues don't exist, turns a blind eye to them and is all smiles and haha kuso ojisan to pretend he isn't hurting inside.

i've said this before, but i still really want arjuna to help bardo with his own issues. learn them, and then maybe not comfort him, or straight up HELP him overcome them, but give him a piece of mind. arjuna is lucky to have ye xiu around (gay), to have someone who will literally play through his second interlude and save him from himself, but bardo has yet to find his konoe. arjuna might not be it (or maybe he will?? who knows?!?!), but in the future, i'm sure he'll call out bardo on his bullshit. i'm looking forward to that fufu

anyways i went off because fuck you i love you and your comment was so nice and genuine that i couldn't not respond in kind. thank you so much for being around, for giving us bardo, for blessing us with your writing, for being such a fun person to talk with. i hope we can continue to be friends for months and even years.
