elizabeth is the deutertagonist of bioshock infinite (and protagonist of burial at sea), a sharp witted girl who spent most of her life locked up in a tower, just like the disney princesses. after breaking out with the help of a Questionable Man who makes some Questionable Choices, the real world and schemes surrounding her hit elizabeth quickly and she adapts into a steely woman with plenty of secrets and a chip on her shoulder the size of a boulder. she's a kpoppie stan twitter user, but for france. for the canon familiar, she'd probably be post burial at sea.

yumeko likes gambling, gambling and gambling. she has a thing for completely breaking people by getting them to stake their lives on games against her, because the risk of losing everything in an equal fight is yumeko's idea of "fun", but she also enjoys getting to know what makes people tick when the reality of losing it all begins to settle in. she's a proper young lady outside gambling, with a polite smile and bright disposition. despite her affinity for gambling, she prefers an equal game and is more than happy to hold up her end of the bargain.

I'm not sure what moonblessing I want for him though. My other character is Cordis so I'm thinking Iris or Sanguis for a change of pace.

So I used to be playing Brigitte but got dropped due to a misunderstanding about activity checks. I'm gonna bring her back this round and just pick up where I left off BUT I'M ALSO BRINGING SOMEONE ELSE IN. ONE OF TWO CHARACTERS. HELP ME PICK ONE!

Character: Rafael "Superego" Cardenas
Canon: Original!

Rafael is a superhero! The best way I can think of summing him up is: Imagine if Catwoman and Carmen Sandiego had a baby, somehow, and then Superman went evil and had a baby with that baby, and then that last baby had a bunch of anger issues because his parents were both supervillains and he's trying to figure out how to control his powers and he's just a huge mess who really is trying his best. And Rafael is that last baby. His father was Elemental, leader of the Valor Corps and greatest hero ever known who turned on humanity because they kept on almost blowing up their own planet and clearly were not fit to rule themselves.

On a more meta level, Rafael was my character in a tabletop campaign a friend ran based on Teen Titans but with a healthy dash of Resident Evil.

Canon: Touhou Project

With the advent of the age of reason and science, all the old myths and monsters realized they were losing their places in the world. You can't write "Here be dragons" on a map when you have satellite imaging. So they got together and created their own pocket universe where they could live safely, free from the tyranny of the mundane future. Marisa lives in Gensokyo, that same pocket universe. She's a human (there are SOME humans in gensokyo, but most of the population is monsters from Japanese mythology. Tengu, Kappa, etc.), but also a magician and a defender of the human village.

She is an extroverted party animal who likes drinking, a talented magician who can fly and shoot giant lasers, and a nosy-busy body with a loose grip on ideas like "personal property".

Canon: Final Fantasy VII

Sephiroth is FFVII's antagonist and best known for taking a deep dive into Murderous Megalomaniac Town as portrayed in the main installment of the series. However, I am far more interested in playing him from a pre-Nibelheim reactor canon point (pre-mental breakdown, for those unfamiliar) for the sake of character development and CR purposes! He has 100% more chill this early on (usually), retaining his core personality traits of being standoffish, yet calm and in control. (Usually.)

Carries a really long sword. Has impractically lengthy hair? Also has eldritch space horror cells in his body. It’s Fine. Probably.

Kaiki is just, like, the worst. A career conman and self-proclaimed "ghost-buster" who loves money more than his life. Likes conning children because they're easier to trick. Relishes being a shitty, C-tier villain. Prides himself on having no pride. (He'd love to moonlace purely for the $$$ but would hate that it benefits both parties. He wants to benefit by himself.) Lies out of his ass constantly. He has his own moral code and soft spots that he'll die before ever admitting to. Also, he's actually a real exorcist (of sorts), but shhhhhh, don't tell anyone, he's proud of being a fraud.

Will probably actively aggravate at least a few people. So it's a good thing he has a ludicrously punchable face.

Leo is a good boy in a canon where everyone around him is batshit crazy or overpowered or batshit crazy and overpowered and he just so happened to get involved in Things so now he has a pair of funky eyes that let him see the "truth" of the world (i.e. auras, true names, things hidden by illusion). Many bad people want his eyes and now he works for an organization dedicated to keeping the balance between worlds. Because he loves his sister. He's a good boy!!

He's a bit of a coward and a total dork but he can definitely be counted on. I'm not sure if I'd have the time to app him this round, but We Shall See.

Canon: No More Heroes (but taking her canon point from the spinoff game, Travis Strikes Back!)



Shinobu is kind a a modern day samurai, with impeccable hair and is a bit of a sassmaster to boot! I know I’ve played in games with some of you with a younger version (of the NMH2 flavor), but this one has grown up a lot (21 to 28 makes quite the difference!).

She’s still a master of the dry wit, but also seems to be more of a good egg (she runs a dojo for kids in the ghetto now awww, but still does assassin business on the side to kill bad people and use the blood money for that dojo, so hmm) more independent, is a little less of a shitlord, and most importantly: isn’t high-key thirsty for Travis’ disaster ass anymore, but still probably has questionable taste in men anyway.

Also seems to have gained the power of nudging the fourth wall (but in a very subtle way) and definitely likes her yellow, goddamn.

If you'd like another intellectual to hang out with or you're just really into the idea of getting naughty with nature, I'm seriously considering apping Trahearne into the game!

He's the oldest member of a race of hippie plant-elves and probably the nicest necromancer you'll ever meet. Trahearne was literally born with a grand quest put upon his shoulders to cleanse a dead nation of dragon corruption, and then spent most of his life researching how to do that before destiny finally dragged his reluctant ass into becoming the head of an army. With the player character's help, he's able to finally cleanse the land, while the player goes on to kill that elder dragon and everyone gets a happy ending.

... Just kidding! Then the next elder dragon emerges and the whole thing ends in Trahearne's horrible death. So uh, he'll be coming in with some fresh PTSD, but that (hopefully!) wouldn't stop him from using Prisma as something of a forced retirement/afterlife. Overall he's usually a fairly calm, centered do-gooder who's a lot of fun when up against more energetic characters or other people that wouldn't mind listening to him talk about all of his nerd shit.

Oh and he's more than ready to drag everyone else along for the ride too. (He is a Rider so lol jokes...) Plus he's also almost 7 feet tall so that means size differences are a THING.

Wanted Characters: Saber! Maiya would be amazing too, but Iri would be over the moon for a Saber. Also, a Rin to make the lives of everyone in the Stay Night side of the cast just a little more awkward. I'm sure Archer in particular would appreciate her. Rider would be great too! Give poor Sakura something.

Wanted Characters: There are many characters to choose from, and virtually anyone would be welcome! Pick your flavor: there's more Original Trilogy characters such as Phoenix himself, Maya, Mia, Franziska, Manfred, Godot, Larry and Ema. Characters from later games would be welcome too, including Bobby Fullbright shenanigans. And there's also a bunch of AAI characters who would be awesome to have too, such as Shi-Long Lang, Shih-na, Courtney Justice, Raymond Shields, Sebastian Debeste, Byrne Faraday and Tyrell Badd! Plus, my kingdom for a Maggey Byrde. And characters from DGS or Layton Vs. Ace Attorney would also be great!

For notes on canon points: Edgeworth is from way back after his first case, in the bratworth years, while Gumshoe is from after the first AAI, and Kay is from the second.

Monica is an energetic and altruistic college dropout struggling to make ends meet and got herself involved in the machinations of a superpowered mastermind. She's a part-time worker (having multiple jobs she don't really last in aside from modeling and bartending, but she's too young to work as a bartender in California, she just took the classes. Maybe here she can be one!) aspiring superhero in a world where superpowers exist (but not widespread like in My Hero Academia, for example) and she gets her powers from her smartphone. She can cast magic spells, heal, create a holographic armor around herself that can grow in size if she wants, and fight with a sword and shield like a classical hero of old! Her heart's in the right place, and she's got a lot of heart to spare as well, but she can be pretty naive and sensitive.

Still tentative, after all I'm still new to the game. But I want to play someone on the younger side. Also she has a cat named Beef and it looks like this absolute unit:

He's an otaku shut in with big dreams of becoming a mangaka even though his art skills are seriously lacking. His family is made of famous actors and rockstars. He's kinda spoiled in the sense that he has never had to really work or take care of himself. Living on his own without housekeepers and cooks will probably be a huge shock for him.

He worries he's stuck in a BL manga, and it's funny because he is but somehow he manages not to be the most stereotypical in that situation?

He also manages to be super relateable because he's easily bribed with anime merch and honestly I just get that lifestyle. He'll probably freak out if he finds himself in another world. And immediately compare it to some manga storyline in his head. That's just the life he leads.

Anyway, look at how happy he is to get the body pillow of his favorite character. What a dork.

Asami is a very tech-savvy young woman who is in love with Korra by her canon point (end of the series or Turf Wars). She's independent and can hold her own in a fight despite not being a bender like all other members of Korra's Team Avatar. She's also very caring and sweet.

This might just be the month you see me in TDM and then apping... but there's more.




Character: Armin Arlert
Canon: Attack on Titan

Armin is a brilliant strategist, but not so good at things that require physical effort. He always looks down on himself and thinks he's no use to anyone. But his brains have saved the day many, many times. He's passionate about the outside world and wants to see everything. He's also a loyal friend. However, to enemies he can and will be ruthless.

He would be from just before his first expedition outside! Just after joining the Survey Corps. Before any traitors have been revealed.
