I admit I haven't been super involved with metal or music fandoms specifically, but since they're a weird gothy melodramatic bard it seemed like the appropriate aesthetic! I'm trying to learn and diversify my tastes more tbh; my original one-line character concept for Mayhem was just 'an animate Fall Out Boy song'.

It's probably for the best; Mayhem's early roots are... less than to be desired.

But if you wanna go that route, Within Temptation and Nightwish would be better!
