Akechi's an ex-assassin and coffee addict who prefers small cafes over Moonbucks or whatever, but he's currently of the opinion that any trouble should be kept on the down low and be for the purpose of information gathering. He doesn't trust the government, but he's not sure if there's something systematic going on or if there's just a Problem in a very convenient position for them.

He's already planning on having a strategy picnic to discuss the fact that everything he can find in terms of history suggests moonlacing is a new phenomenon, while cultural habits and superstitions suggest it used to be common.
