OMG that would be great. She sniffs the air near Kagome's bag and wonders why Kagome brought flowers with her on a trip like this...and then tries a bath bomb and some luxury shampoo and decides this stuff is excellent. Something like that would probably be a really good way to deflect some of the awkward of the situation, because then they could focus on talking about modern things that aren't around in the feudal era. Plenty to talk about without getting personal.

No one needs to get personal or contemplate past experiences of battle and negativity when instead they can bond over how wonderful modern luxuries are. It's a talking point Kagome can go on about for ages at least.
