I used to play Illumi so you can't fool me... because Hisoka is the best clown ever sorry homestuck and clearly the superior Hisoka of all those who dare to stand where his name stands.
But awesome! Thanks! I'm always nervous but I'm trying to come out of my shell. I'll keep my eyes peeled for him and harass him with my annoying boy.

Alright technically yes, magician lol! He's too damn funny not to be a clown, too. The OG Hisoka, move over Yami no Matsuei.
That's no problem, friend! If I see him I will wander my way over or if you see Dave and it piques his interest (no need to force it) I would be glad to have him any time. Maybe they can have a big ol' spar one day if Dave can get over how much he hates fighting and has to realize he needs to keep his training up lol.
THOUGH if i had to describe how hisoka is. even though he is from the end of the animu, i'd say that he's treating prisma a lot like he treated greed island. where he is on full fucking-around mode. where he's not actively seeking people to fight necessarily as he is just trying to have a good time until he gains enough chroma to be sent back so that he can go back to hunting down chrollo (and get his ass beat when that happens).
The perfect Hisoka where he is full-on fucking around mode and all about having a good time with people. I mean, this is a man who speed-ran an entire otome city for funsies and because he was bored.
I'M HAPPY PEOPLE KNOW HIM. I'm always a little surprised HxH is so obscure as it is. :O But also, also! This is my first time playing him so lemme know if anything sounds a bit off, too, please!!
God I love him. Just hearing you talk about HXH makes me want to read it all over again. I haven't been with it in the last few years for r e a s o n s. Which is to say I have none and don't know why I haven't already.
As soon as I apped in and was doing taken list stuff, I saw Hisoka on there and went screaming to my friend who plays Karkat to tell him all about my estranged husband. Even still, I will keep an eye out! Hisoka isn't my forte, but you don't play Illumi without knowing at least a little bit... Or you could but, shame! If I'm serious though, with how much you're into Hisoka's character nuances even just from this little exchange, I'm going to put good money on you being awesome.
I LOVE HIM TOO. HE'S A GROSS PERSON THAT I LOVE. It's pretty fun. Or watch it all. It took 2 weeks to watch the entirety of the 2011 anime. I quite enjoyed it, though. Man, I do not like Hisoka's 1999 voice. Not really a hot-take but it's just... it's really painful to listen to. (laugh)

He really is. Hanging around him is a hazard to anyone. 2011 anime is pretty good! All the voice-acting for it is really good. I am going to say that the Japanese is really great. I have not listened too much to the English. I've heard English Hisoka and the guy has one voice which is, "I'm a creepy person and I'm being creepy." (laughs) When sometimes, he's just playful and fucking around with people.
THAT IS. They're absolutely awful for one another. And Illumi needs to kill his fiancee a lot faster. As a friend said, everyone is cheering for it. Hisoka is cheering the loudest for Illumi to kill him. GOD I HOPE ILLUMI KILLS HIM OVER CHROLLO. I will be salty if Chrollo kills Hisoka for realsies.
But I also hope Illumi kills Chrollo in general, rather than Hisoka. I don't want Hisoka to get that win. (laughs) SABOTAGING MY OWN MAN. THAT'S HOW I AM.
Subs it is! Subs which are superior... mostly. I will say mostly. There've been some English adaptations I liked.
If it doesn't end up being Illumi then I'm rioting lol. They've been trying to off each other lovingly for a million years.
