Man, Reimi's been My Girl for so long, I just love her story and her history and it's been a really interesting challenge for me to try to take a character who is, functionally, a plot device and try to flesh her out into an engaging standalone character in her own right. I'm so glad you think she's coming off well!

Oh god okay so this is slightly embarrassing since I know we've barely threaded so far, but I have to admit I've admired a few of your threads from a distance -- you do such a good job of showing that she's soft and kind, but still very determined and not at all weak, and your write her with a really strong and consistent voice. I feel like Reimi's not a character that gets RPed much, so it's been a huge delight seeing her around!

I always worry about leaning too hard into the genki girl trope and having her come off as one-note because of it, so I'm glad I'm managing to hit the right balance of having her embody that "cute girl" feeling while still making sure she's engaging to tag with!

Alex, you already know I have nothing but praise for you. You're always down to do something creative and fun. Sometimes it's goofy, sometimes it's heartfelt. You're a critical thinker about characters I tend to find, and that especially shows in Reimi. For a lot of people, it would be easy to just right her into a standard "nice genki girl" personality slate. But that's not what she is, n you know that, and you're not afraid to write those wonderful flaws, too.

I'm always excited every day that I get a tag from you. It's really fulfilling, and I'm super glad that these two ended up clicking so well.

I'm always really glad when circumstances arise in a thread to kind of push Reimi to a point where she'll set the genki aside and really double down on being hurt or petty or just generally flawed. It's one of the things I really like about her CR with Abba, because I think that in a way, because he's let her see him at his worst (or at least in his worse moments), she feels safer letting him see her at her worst, too. She's still kind of in the early stages of the arc I'm hoping to write with her, but CR like Abba's is doing wonders for getting her on her way for that, and I'm so grateful for the threads these two have.
