I have angie (ofc) and this guy here who is a secret softie in a military general's old man half-metal body and I would love cr with whoever u think would work best...!! I'm p.canonblind to gbf but reading over his app/info, he sounds super interesting to bounce off of. both angie and james here are "hope for the best prepare for the worst" optimistic types, james a little less on the optimism with a buttload of trust issues, but they both have p.thorough understandings of war and the awful things done during them so they're pretty tolerant of Bad Shit.
angie in particular just likes to see people are doing all right and help them along/smooth out rough edges and idk if that'd be helpful or not, but...!! worth a shot right? and if for any reason she finds out abt his past actions/violent tendencies, she'd be significantly more wary but the more he comes around the more she'd (probably mistakenly) tell herself he wants/needs good people around and try to be that for him... a fool, but yk how it is with the goody two-shoes types. they're both quite intelligent and enjoy the finer things in life so I'm sure at least baseline friendships would work out!
Oh gosh... I would absolutely eventually like CR with both of your peeps, they both sound like absolute charmers. If one of them needs to expand their friends group more than the other I am totally flexible on that!
Off the top of my head, Mercy definitely has reason to run into him for a couple of reasons! He was winged during the last event and got soundly thrashed by quite a few people, so a few visits to the clinic are to be expected. But in addition to that, Lobelia is gonna be down the clinic pretty regularly anyway getting "therapy" from Danny! (Really it's an excuse for Lobelia to enthusiastically talk about himself for an hour with someone who intrigues him, he'll pay good chroma for that...)
That said, old half-metal men are also extremely my jam too, so neither of them are safe in the future! I welcome more CR with positive influences like that... people who think 'well this guy has clearly done genuinely dreadful things but he's safer when someone keeps an eye on him...' And for his part, kind and obliging people are a natural draw. :')

and I would love to toss both at you! ange could probs do with the distraction/people to tend to first off, esp with the event; that def makes for a really great opportunity to see to him in conjunction w/danny! she's a lil down right now having lost some important people so she'd dote extra tbh... she's very stubborn and attaches to people who may not get on great with others so if he ever starts showing His Other Side she'd def stick with him!
james definitely needs more friends in general and can be found at a lot of upscale locales for coffee/drinks/etc and if any sort of memory share event rolls around again, he can see james getting ripped apart by big shadowy monsters!! 🙃 he's completely bisected right>left so he has a metal right side, arm & leg & torso fittings, but he's largely quite gentlemanly and enjoys other people speaking about themselves; he's a bit more high & mighty than angie when it comes to justice/evil/etc (he literally named his two guns Due Process I hate him) so it'd be interesting to see how things work out with darker threads! but it sounds like on the surface they'd get on great to start and james is quick to latch onto people/stay loyal unless outright betrayed/lied to, which is his biggest dealbreaker.
I'm sure they'd both have interesting convos and unique dynamics! ♥ I have some general moon prompts for the both of them but we could def do a post-event clinic thing with angie & lobelia if that works for you! I could write a start where danny maybe stepped out for supplies or hasn't arrived yet in the morning so she can see to his injuries?
Awh yes, I'm definitely up to meet James in the future for sure! (And if we get any sort of memory share then Lobelia will gladly cream his fuckin jorts watching him getting eviscerated, that'd be fantastic.) The potential there sounds great, especially since the connection of bio and mechanical is something Lobelia's shown visceral interest in since he arrived. :^) Lobelia lies when it suits him, but mostly since arriving in Prismatica, sooner or later, he likes to tell everyone everything, because he's very Proud of himself. But he is quite carefully curating things here in Prismatica so that the people who don't want him to get in trouble don't see or hear about him getting in trouble, so there's a bit of careful omission going on.
And... Due Process.... Please, what a fucking nerd, now I have to bully...
But aw yes, that'd be so great re: Angie! I am sorry she lost some of her people, but Lobelia will gladly be the Ultimate Handful and distract the shit out of her with his weird genial proactive energy. And as long as I'm not putting you to too much trouble with a starter I'd absolutely love that, thank you so much! :9 I will look forward to it with much excitement!!

he'd certainly be a good example of just that! and angela works with cybernetics as well so that'd likely interest him if they ever stumble on the topic, that's what her workshop is for. she had really unobtrusive leg braces made to help someone walk when they were paralyzed from the waist down and she did all the genji biz ofc, so he'd probs find her tinkering in the workshop. she's gonna make someone a new eyeball soon!! as for the lying, it really depends on the topic at hand but he doesn't like crucial information being kept from him or like... going behind his back at all, he has Trust Issues (For Some Reason we have yet to be informed of) but if it's like someone keeping their own truths about themselves from him it isn't his place to be upset tbh. I don't think anything he'd withhold would bother him much! but yes pls bully him, he's ridiculous. he does like 3 different superhero landings just to be extra he's so much...
