You awaken amidst the darkness with only a faint light to greet you. Your body is hemmed in by shards of crystals, gently sparkling and possibly pricking your skin. The surrounding landscape is dyed in the pinks and purples of the dusk filled with crystals protruding from the ground, some as large as a skyscraper. After an hour or two of wandering through the crystal wilderness, a group of people find you worse for wear. They are the gallant Moon Knights from the planet of Prismatica. Because of the strange phenomena during the past months when scientists observed the sudden appearance of rainbow crystals in the sky, the government has been feverishly combing through the moon for more Moonblessed to be rescued. You’ll eventually be brought into Iris’s moon government center.

You all may have your usual inquiries — Where are we? Who are you? What's going on? — and the Prismals are almost too eager to answer. They tell you about their world and about the first appearance of the Moonblessed as the medical staff give you an examination to make sure you’re not carrying any viruses or biological hazards. If you react violently, you may be restrained and nerfed with a specialized neurotransmitting gun that releases a numbing agent through the top of your spine. Once the examinations are over, you’re informed that you will be provided accommodations on their planet during your stay. You will then be escorted to the docks, and led onto a large transport vessel that makes frequent trips back and forth between the Iris moon and the planet. Faces onboard vary from both old and new Moonblessed as well as the local Prismals.

The next destination: Prismatica.

Welcome to Prismatica’s hub, Lunatia, the city of your dreams! A bustling metropolis lush with bright lights, vibrant colors, luxuriant plant life, and all the conveniences of technology absent from your own world… It seems like paradise to all the uninitiated. After a quick tour of the city, new arrivals can find themselves getting cozy in their new homes.

A Settle in your new home at Level 2 to find new roommates and say hello to your neighbors! City officials will give you directions to the designated districts across Level 2 and instruct you to pick out a unit. Each apartment complex has a different aesthetic, some may look cozy, some stylish, and some bizarre. The free accommodations have a basic living space that can only fit two or three people at most in one unit.

Starter Chromaspace furnishings are provided which can be controlled with the touch of a built-in panel. Examples are color-changing curtains, transforming sofa beds, cabinets turning into tables, etc. Customizing your apartment or moving out will have to wait until you earn more chroma. Until then, why don’t you check out your new neighborhood or explore the city levels? Maybe your new roommates or neighbors can give you a “hand” with allowance for dinner.

B Your new flat is covered in a sprinkling of feathers here, there, and everywhere! They appear to be coming through the air vents. This seems to be a city-wide problem in all buildings, as many news outlets are informing people to stay alert. They believe the feathers are from the masked seraphim, King Majestas, who attacked the Elaran Amphitheater a few weeks back.

You are advised to destroy the feathers on sight. Prolonged contact with these feathers cause hallucinations and paranoia. You will feel as if winged creatures are always after you, be it one-winged angels or dark-winged ducks. Other side effects include hearing the chanting of voices in an indecipherable language out of this galaxy. These hallucinations may cause headaches, dizziness, or nausea. Thankfully, a bit of moonlacing will heal these symptoms away.

With the Coiled Hearts Festival fast approaching, local fishermen have already begun procuring food across Crystal Beach’s clear waters to meet next month’s demands. Around this time of year, the popularity of octopus dishes dramatically rises. The Lunatians have an annual tradition to prepare flavorful octopus dishes for the romantic season, such as the much-lauded dark chocolate-coated octopus or the mouth-watering octopus braised with red wine.

Everyone is welcome to join this heart-throbbing affair. During the Second and Third months, everyone is encouraged to give your loved ones something special for a long, successful relationship. Friends, family, and new acquaintances are traditionally given a small amount of Demichroma in tiny cute cases, while lovers are given something that reminds the gifter of their homeland.

A Interested in catching your own octopus? Horned taurus octopi very frequently migrate to the shorelines to perform their elaborate mating rituals. It’s easy to find clumps of taurus octopi participating in a vigorous dance, filled with undulations and strange moaning noises that octopi should not be making. You can lure the octopi by either using a special flute which mimics their moans to gather them in heavy droves. It’s ideal to have a partner with you to scoop the octopi quickly into water containers once they’ve become entranced enough.

Play the flute carefully! If the taurus octopi grow too excited by your music, they will squirt white ink. If you are spritzed with the thick substance, you will start either randomly puking or uncontrollably secreting a milky sweet substance from any body part that secretes liquids. Luckily, the high-end boutique Prissy Polyp is nearby in case you need a change of clothes due to any sizable stains. Effects will naturally wear off after an hour.

B Come with a friend and enjoy learning some octopus recipes together. The Crystal Beach Resort has opened a seminar where several professional chefs will be demonstrating and teaching how to cook various dishes of different flavors and ingredients guaranteed to impress your date, and taste-testing is free!

One dish makes use of horned taurus octopi skin as the star ingredient, renowned for its irresistibly delectable scent. The chefs explain the palatable skin is a potent ingredient in various love potions and aphrodisiacs, so add or mix them to your dishes in moderation! The effects have a significant delay, so you may feel fine for a while, but when it hits, it hits hard. You will become enamored with every little thing — hey, you just met them and this is crazy — but that person’s smile, the sound of their voice, or the way they say your name will make you unable to resist the urge to shower them with your affection.

Level 2, Moonlight Medical Center | top

“Help Wanted” posters can be found on virtual forums and announcement boards across Level 1 to 3. The Moonlight Medical Center has put out a call for volunteers due to a recent shortage of medical staff. The work involves filling in for overworked nurses, performing tasks such as feeding patients their meals, wiping away their sweat, changing their clothes, encouraging their spirits, and so on. Any volunteers may directly walk-in at the hospital. You will be provided a nurse uniform and any necessary equipment while on the job.

The shortage has resulted from the hospital recently taking in a severe number of patients from a nearby small village to the west of Lunatia, Port Sylvel, a known shipping and freight destination. The number of patients worryingly keeps on rising by the day and will soon fill all available rooms.

A Some of the patients are experiencing varying degrees of paralysis. The worst cases have crystallizing parts of their body. The hospital staff will stress that you should be careful around patients with crystallized limbs. Patients like these have a history of aggressively biting anyone who comes close hard enough to draw blood. Those bitten will exhibit similar symptoms as the victims, including crystallization on their bodies, and experience a steady drop in Chroma. An uncomfortable heaviness will cause you unable to move without the aid of others as well as an uncontrollable urge to aggressively bite someone.

While affected Moonblessed can cure it by moonlacing, the Prismals can only be cured by a gluteal inoculation the Lunar Scientia has recently managed to develop. The sick and beleaguered will probably hate you less if you aren’t the one trying to stabbing them with injections in the hindquarters.

B Aside from nursing duties, other available tasks to be completed include making coffee for fellow nurses and doctors, delivering flowers to patients, and general housekeeping. Specifically, disinfecting medical equipment, tidying up rooms, and cleaning the spaces around the hospital. As a result of the current situation, many crystal shards can be found decorating multiple surfaces, such as floors, walls, toilet seats, and so on. These will have to be swept away!

However, as your work day progresses, some of the shards can be seen suddenly moving on their own. These crawling shards will start clustering together to turn into elaborate, floating monolithic formations that will then begin attacking anyone nearby. Their main ability includes shooting diamond spears to impale any unfortunate victims in their line of sight. In the midst of the chaos, nurses and doctors will beg the Moonblessed to please protect the sick and wounded. The crystal formations can be destroyed by any method, though because of their incredibly sturdy composition, they require multiple hits before they shatter into dust.

[ That was a lot to take in, but he did pay as much attention as he could in the end. Being summoned to a new world, though? It was pretty much how things went, didn't they? Though as he rides on the transport craft, he can't help but be fascinated by the fact that this is so far beyond anything he's seen on earth at all.

He'll be found on the ship, at the government center, or just wandering around most of Lunatia, or at a new residence. Don't mind this cheerful-yet-confused young man strolling about. He can be seen trying to help people out, even if he doesn't know how to do some things himself, but he'll be adapting as best as he can! Don't mind him waving down someone looking his way, with a friendly question or two! ]

Tricky creatures, aren't they? Be careful not to get them too excited! If you need any, you can have some of these jars to take back. I've got plenty!

[ He ends up laughing a little, as he sets the jars away. ]

The sooner we get them cleared up, the better, right? Don't want them giving anyone else trouble.

[ laughs as well as looks around for something to wipe arash down ] But don't get too much into the habit! I rather like having you around, you know!

[ finding a towel, he picks it up and starts to wipe arash's face. it's the least he could do, after all! ] But a break could be useful. We've done quite a lot of farming already, wouldn't you say?

That we have. It sure was kind of you to make this go faster.

[ Now he's just being fussed over, and he's not sure how he feels about it. But at least he seems to not mind it, as he makes a muffled sound while his face is being cleaned.

When he does manage to free his face and peek out from behind the towel, though, he grins sheepishly at the other. ]

Now I'm a little embarrassed... good thing that ink didn't get on your nice outfit, though.

[ He'll just take the towel now... ]

Have you ever seen creatures like these shoot white ink, though? This is the first I've seen of it.

[Her arms and legs look as if they were painted by fire and the night sky, so it should be no surprise that Arash would approach Kama to ask. But, see, Kama isn't used to that. She had been holding up rather well with her arrows and flames, and it's not like she's so useless at combat that she would be bitten. It's not like her personality is pleasant enough for anyone to check in on her and care, either. So his question is a strange one, and it takes Kama a moment to register what just happened.]

Behind you!

[It's the only warning Arash gets before Kama holds him close to her chest and attacks the monoliths with white-hot beams of light.]

[ He's more struck by how beautiful she is, if they're going to be honest. The way her arms and legs glitter and shine in a way that embodies the elements and the world— well, she is a bit out of place there, true, but-

It's kind of fascinating, enough that he is a bit distracted even with his clairvoyance! Suddenly finding himself pressed up against the woman, though, he feels the pulse of energy from her, and his breath catches for a moment before he senses the crystal dust scattering. And the fact that she's hovering ensures that—

Well, let's just say his face is buried very comfortably against her bosom. He goes very still, face a bit red, before he tries to pry his head back, careful to place his hands on her waist in the appropriate, and absolutely not lewd places.

Right. The monoliths. He'd managed to get some with his bow, too, and he swallows heavily as he draws back to look at her. ]

That was warm— er. Strong. Yeah. A really strong blast.

[ Not a warm chest, not at all. Even though it was. ]

Didn't get any on you, did you?

[A pure heart and a pure soul. Kama can tell from the way he carries himself in the moment. She doesn't need to know his name to know what he is capable of. This archer... is the kind of person that suits her the least. He is, after all, kind to even a stranger like her. Maybe her current form helped, though. Ah, she hates that. Good people are the worst. Even now, she struggles to find the words to a simple question.

But one has to understand. She is not only a god, but a demon — something everyone hates. Thus, Arash's question is so shocking, so overwhelming, that she doesn't even know if she should answer.]

[Eventually, she laughs. That's the only way she can process this. It doesn't matter how good he is. She will corrupt him, and she will have his body and soul. Mwahaha... Mwahahahahahaha...

I'd worry about myself if I were you. I was just on my way out. Everyone has their hands full with these pests, anyway... [She begins to float on all fours, and she reaches out to tap him on the nose.] Don't you want to want to come?

[ Byleth had arrived at the beach to join in on the fishing, though he hadn't expected any fluting or octopus-chasing to be involved. He's mildly surprised about it only not really. He's been here long enough to be acquainted with the Prismals' overly complicated method of getting anything done. He would have been fine just fishing them out with a net, but this is fine, too, he guesses.

Mid-way through ushering a few more octopi into a bucket, he catches an unfamiliar face, jumping to shield him, though Byleth isn't sure from what. He only figures it out when the man unceremoniously lands on the sand with a thick thud, covered in thick white fluids that he hesitates to get near. ]

...Is it ink?

[ It smells rather sweet, but that doesn't mean it's not poisonous. He can't be too careful.

He's quick to turn the man on his back while he removes his jacket so he can try and blot him dry, but he's positively covered. Everywhere. Just how excited was that octopus? ]

Tell me if it stings. I can try and ease the pain.

N-No, it... actually, I'm not sure. It's white.

[ Honestly, what is he going to do about this? At least this man didn't end up getting hit, which was the whole purpose of the dive. He smiles sheepishly as he's aided, and sits up, pausing only to stare at the man in wonder.

That bright hair... those pretty eyes...!

Goodness, people are attractive here, aren't they? He smiles then, shifting to slip his shirt off. ]

It does seem like I'll need a towel, if you could be so kind?

[ ...Right. It's impolite to stare. He'll just quickly grab him a towel before checking his body closely once more. For medical reasons. Really.

Mostly, he's hoping the man is not poisoned, but he doesn't see any strange marks or lacerations anywhere nor a rash forming. Maybe he should give him a bit of healing just in case, fingers hovering a few centimeters from his flesh as his crest glows from within his own chest. The magic starts ebbing its way out of him and through the stranger's body to hopefully chase away any lingering residual effects. ]

How do you feel?

[ He does feel rather responsible for him now as he was the one the man who had protected. He really should have caught the squirting octopus before it had gotten in that close. ]

[There seem to be many Servants arriving here as of late, so Gawain naturally makes sure to take note, to see who is friend or foe. Granted, without his Master around, it doesn't make as much of a difference. But still, one needs to keep such things in mind.

It's on a day when he's not in his armor, dressed in a t shirt and jacket, looking no different than anyone else, save for a certain powerful, princely aura, as expected from one of the chief knights of the Round Table.

Of course Arash sticks out a like a sore thumb, dressed as he is.]

[He makes sure to not use his True Name. Gawain is fine having his identity out in the open, but he knows others wish to maintain some discretion.]

[ Arash is, of course, dressed in his usual gear- not that he has anything else at this point in time, and he blinks when he looks at Gawain. Having stella'd himself out of existence before he could ever face him, he doesn't immediately recognize him, even if he'd know him by name.

Even less so, without his armor- but that radiant presence is all the more palpable to him and he pauses where he is, looking Gawain over. ]

[ He'd encountered Lancelot, the last he recalls, but not Gawain, not yet... ]

Are you among the new arrivals as well?

[He looks Arash over for a moment and then shakes his head.]

Nay, I have been here for many months now. Probably too long in all honesty.

[As much as he enjoyed himself here, sometimes Gawain remembered that he was essentially a being born for a specific duty. And whether that duty was to his Master or the world they all came from, it was something that couldn't be neglected. Even if the battle with Solomon had ended.]

May I ask what it is you remember last?

[Is he the one from Chaldea or the one Holy Land? Both demand a different response.]

Are you feeling alright, dear?

[Is it unfortunate if Arash falls over for this person? Ladiva has sampled a little bit of the dishes, but honestly she doesn't need aphro to spread love around.]

[ He pauses, staring at who happens to be the most exquisite looking and divine presence he might have ever encountered. Wait, that's-

Actually, no, even without these effects, he'd have been fascinated, and he turns to look at her with fascination, unsure of just why he seems doubly invested in her. ]

[ He heard her call herself a maiden before, so- he does the same. ]
