Character: Rean Schwarzer
Canon: Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel

Rean Schwarzer is the protagonist of the Cold Steel saga of Trails of Cold Steel and he's your almost typical JPRG protagonist: he's rather selfless (as in he'll put his friends first before himself) and has natural leader tendencies, even if he doesn't necessarily see himself as one. He also doesn't struggles a bit with confidence and sometimes feels a bit aimless, not to mention that he has an ogre power (also known as Spirit Unification) that kind of turns his hair white and his eyes red and gives him immense strength that he can't entirely control and that kind of leads to self-deprecation sometimes... he's just Like That. He's also sometimes a pushover that winds up helping others a lot for fetch quests even though he sometimes doesn't want to. Although even though he might be like that, he also can go with the verbal punches and also uses a sword (specifically a tachi) to fight.
