You awaken amidst the darkness with only a faint light to greet you. Your body is hemmed in by shards of crystals, gently sparkling and possibly pricking your skin. The surrounding landscape is dyed in the pinks and purples of the dusk filled with crystals protruding from the ground, some as large as a skyscraper. After an hour or two of wandering through the crystal wilderness, a group of people find you worse for wear. They are the gallant Moon Knights from the planet of Prismatica. Because of the strange phenomena during the past months when scientists observed the sudden appearance of rainbow crystals in the sky, the government has been feverishly combing through the moon for more Moonblessed to be rescued. You’ll eventually be brought into Iris’s moon government center.
You all may have your usual inquiries — Where are we? Who are you? What's going on? — and the Prismals are almost too eager to answer. They tell you about their world and about the first appearance of the Moonblessed as the medical staff give you an examination to make sure you’re not carrying any viruses or biological hazards. If you react violently, you may be restrained and nerfed with a specialized neurotransmitting gun that releases a numbing agent through the top of your spine. Once the examinations are over, you’re informed that you will be provided accommodations on their planet during your stay. You will then be escorted to the docks, and led onto a large transport vessel that makes frequent trips back and forth between the Iris moon and the planet. Faces onboard vary from both old and new Moonblessed as well as the local Prismals.
The next destination: Prismatica.

The city’s landscape is not spared by the erratic flow of time. Buildings and streets continuously flicker between the beautiful and vibrant paradise it has become to the ruins of glory days long past. Your eyes may struggle to adjust as you try and convince yourself of what is real and what is not. High rise towers one moment will become wreckage the next, filled with technological debris and the echoing cries of the terrified, and the mighty wingspan of an unknown creature continues to hovers in the distance. The illusion will only last but a minute before you’re back in the present, going about your daily business. However, your trip from the future and back is far from over.

Until then, they have issued safety guidelines and measures to effectively light the city. The Caelus Tower appears to burn brighter than ever.

On the ides of the third month, an emergency broadcast appears from Captain Natela:
Captain Natela
Greetings, Prismals and Moonblessed.
It is with a heavy heart that I announce that Port Sylvel has been completely crystallized. The Moon Knights are currently recruiting willing explorers and scientists to investigate the cause. Investigations are still pending, but the outlook is grim. The only survivors were among the few we carried out of the city last month. The rest perished from the crystallization.
Our heart goes out to those affected by this plight. There is no cause for panic. There is no sign that the crystallization is spreading beyond Port Sylvel. We Moon Knights stand with the people of Prismatica, as we have done for centuries. We are not mere defenders of a city but protectors of a planet. We endeavor to find the cause of this tragedy and bring peace and justice to the lives it claimed. Until then, we ask for your cooperation. Stay calm and press onward.
Those who volunteer to participate in the expedition will be rewarded for their efforts. They will be assisted by experts from the Lunar Scientia as well as the bear Prismal and Moon Knight Fahrouk, who looks worse for wear after hearing the news.
Officer Fahrouk
Oh, Moonblessed. It's you. Yeah, Hala is doing good. Won the spelling bee! I think she might make the nationals. ... I… I don't think I ever told you. Port Sylvel was our hometown. My wife is buried there. We’d go there every spring. Hala loved picking the flowers there. Did you know that different flowers grow in Port Sylvel compared to Lunatia? Haaaah...
Moonblessed! I know you think I'm not cool enough to hang out with you, and all I do is ask for your help, but please let me go with you! Please… This is something I have to do as a soldier, a husband, and a father.
… What? You always thought I was cool?
Finding strength and resolve after the participants tell him he's supposed to assist them on their mission anyway, Fahrouk distributes LIFE suits to the participants as he briefs them on what they're about to do. He and the participating Moonblessed will then be transported via a large transport vessel.
Port Sylvel is hardly recognizable. What was once an idyllic coastal town is now a site of tragic beauty — crystal formations encase buildings and Prismals like jagged glass coffins, as if preserving life in its final moments. Readings from life detectors tell you that everyone in the crystal has passed on, but you and your fellow Moonblessed think you can still hear their cries of distress carried along by the wind, warning you about the Prideful King.
Eventually, transmissions from the LIFE suits announce an order for escape. Buildings collapse and shatter in your wake, and the ground quakes violently as something awakens in the far distance...

A Settle in your new home at Level 2 to find new roommates and say hello to your neighbors! City officials will give you directions to the designated districts across Level 2 and instruct you to pick out a unit. Each apartment complex has a different aesthetic, some may look cozy, some stylish, and some bizarre. The free accommodations have a basic living space that can only fit two or three people at most in one unit.
Starter Chromaspace furnishings are provided which can be controlled with the touch of a built-in panel. Examples are color-changing curtains, transforming sofa beds, cabinets turning into tables, etc. Customizing your apartment or moving out will have to wait until you earn more chroma. Until then, why don’t you check out your new neighborhood or explore the city levels? Maybe your new roommates or neighbors can give you a “hand” with allowance for dinner.

B Due to the temporal distortions, Prismals and Moonblessed new and old feel their bodies sporadically transform in the strangest of ways. Your joints ache like they’ve carried a lifetime’s weight of misfortune and regret. Your voice turns high-pitched like a certain pair has yet to drop. You turn into a confused infant in one moment and the seasoned fighter you always wanted to be in the next. Your memories also shuffle around along with your apparent age, leaving you confused and unsettled. The transformations can occur and last for as long as the 11th, when everything turns back to normal without incident. That time your baby self peed in your pants? Never happened. Until then, moonlacing seems to stabilize the weird abnormalities.

C For these dark hours, Lunar Scientia releases their latest Chroma-powered technology for Moonblessed use: star lanterns. When a star lantern is held by two Moonblessed, it absorbs newly generated Chroma from them, enabling it to light up the missing stars in the sky as you travel from place to place. The light’s color and intensity will depend on you and your partner’s bond, the spectrum ranging from a violet of hatred to a red full of love. Indifference, however, will not light the lantern at all. It also comes with a float function so that it can be released into the atmosphere without needing to carry it everywhere. Since the technology is limited in stock, Moonblessed may only have one star lantern in their possession.
One of the issued guidelines is to never walk through dark alleys alone even with the lanterns, as the crime rate has increased lately due to those taking advantage of the chaos. This is especially rampant in Level 3, at the mouth of the Lightless.

D Gigantic crystal lions flank the passage of the port city, their wings spread open and blue flames pouring forth from their mouths. You hear rumbling guttural noises, and if you approach them, their roars will escalate to warn you about proceeding any further. Beware: a single bite from these lions can easily tear through the LIFE suit and cause your body to crystallize quickly unless someone rushes in to moonlace with you to halt the effect. These lions are unlike the beasts you’ve fought before: their otherworldly strength is overwhelming, and nothing seems to wear them down. Destroying them seems pointless, as they quickly regenerate the minute they are obliterated.
Eventually, transmissions from the LIFE suits announce an order for escape. Buildings collapse and shatter in your wake, and the ground quakes violently as something awakens in the far distance...

Karma Akabane | Assassination Classroom
[ To say he wasn’t expecting this would be an impressive understatement.
Having recently attended his middle school graduation, then suddenly having absolutely no memory waking up here in a place he had no memory of being in whatsoever? Well. That’s enough to put him on edge, and had Karma venturing out to see what else might be here but with no sign of life for almost two hours? It didn’t look promising.
Sure enough those Moon Knights had found him and he’d almost lashed out because hey. Who would take kindly to being kidnapped?! However, he wasn’t an idiot and stopped himself last second, mostly because he wanted to know what information they had and so he was well-behaved enough to get what information he needed before being sent off to explore what he supposed would be his home for a while.
No, he’s still not happy about any of this… but… whatever. He’d make do for now.
Eventually Karma found an unoccupied place and settled on the couch for a while. At least until he heard the door open and someone was coming in. Normal people would just greet them and be like ‘oh hey, you’re my roommate?’ but he was NOT normal and as such, people would only get a scant warning that consisted of one thing. ]
Heads up~!
[ Then there’s what appears to be a knife - he always had a pocket knife on him so that was a thing - being thrown at them so they better act fast. The action lacks malice and Karma’s just smiling as if he hasn’t done anything wrong. ]
If you still want to try and stay here after that, be my guest.
B. -- Time Warp --
1-A. Only in Body, not the Mind
[ One may note that this whole time-shifting stuff was already chaotic enough, but even moreso for one Karma Akabane. Mostly because now, someone will at some point find that if they’re around Level three, at Mond Mart? There’s a frustrated looking, red-headed child about six or seven trying in vain to reach something on a higher shelf and making annoyed noises. ]
Why’re these so far up?!
[ He makes a jump for it and his tiny hand grabs onto the shelf, but his legs aren’t on the floor anymore. Help? ]
1-B Just a Child
[ Maybe it’s already weird with all the shifts, but even moreso is if you find yourself in Level 3. Where a very frightened looking seven year old child is wandering around, looking a little bit close to tears. Especially where he ran into some sketchy looking guy in his thirties who rounded on him suddenly, getting in his space and grabbing his wrist, holding him up to where his small feet can’t even touch the ground. ]
Gimme back my wallet, you damn brat! I know it was you who took it!
[ Karma whimpered, trying to get his hand free and shaking his head. ]
I didn’t take it! Lemme go!!
[ The guy just shook him, starting to yell and seeming like he was seconds from getting violent. Very clearly drunk, too. ]
2. Years pass me by..
[ The first and VERY notable difference to him being not quite his normal self? Had to be that unlike Karma and how he was normally? There was now a well-dressed, taller red-head walking around who looked to be in his early twenties, hair parted to the side and a softness almost lingering in his orange hues.
It’s as he’s passing by someone struggling to buy something with Chroma that he just laughs and wraps an arm around their shoulder, leaning in close with a lazy, almost sensual looking smile on his face as he laughed. ]
If they can’t pay for it, why don’t you let me?
[ This world was so strange but he learned easily. Even if he was unhappy at being away from his home and his job. At least he was willing to help someone else out. ]
Better than causing a commotion, isn’t it?
C -- Starlight, Starbright.. --
[ In one hand, Karma held onto one of the lanterns but hadn’t quite gotten around to asking someone if they wanted to try one but hey that’s just how he was. The unusual darkness wasn’t anything new and he could find his way around things not horribly without the light being present, so it didn’t matter where exactly he ended up. All kinds of people were out at this time as he wandered down an almost empty street, and perhaps he looked a little too calm or at ease, as someone out there had decided he looked like an easy target.
He wasn’t an idiot. He could have fought them off as they pulled him aside and towards the alley, but allowed them to pull him aside.
At least long enough to where he realized he wasn’t alone here and there was at least another two guys. Karma slowly smiled as he shifted in a quick movement and released himself from the one man’s grip. ]
Oh. I’m just a helpless kid, aren’t I? Surely you all can take me down, yeah?
[ His tone is outright mocking and the guys? They don’t take that and come at him… which would be a death sentence if it wasn’t Karma they were dealing with. Which meant anyone nearby would be privy to coming across this… which ended up being one fifteen year old easily beating down three adult men.
All without looking like he’d broken so much as a sweat. Maybe even grinning as he did so. ]
D. -- Wildcard --
[ If nothing else worked for you, come up with something and i’ll roll with it~ ]
c
there is a boy with bright red hair, and he is standing over three fallen men. it doesn't take a genius to figure out what happened. these guys... might have been trying to take advantage of the darkened situation, and the boy must have defended himself. probably? Osomatsu's eyes are wide as he looks from the men up to the boy with gold eyes]
........
[a nice first meeting!]
no subject
Don't worry. It isn't as if I picked a fight with them first. They figured I was an easy target and I proved them otherwise.
[ He turned to look at the other, letting off a soft, amused noise as he saw the outfit properly now. ]
I'm supposing there's a good reason for the outfit.
no subject
he almost comments on it, but then the boy brings up the outfit. Osomatsu jolts, becoming red]
I-It's for my job! But that's none of your business! Shouldn't you be more worried about what happened here?
no subject
Karma laughed a bit, clearly amused as he cast a singular glance towards the downed men briefly. ]
What? You mean those guys trying to take advantage of the darkness to attack other, unsuspecting people who won't see it coming?
[ He took this moment to casually walk over to where the other was standing, still seeming unbothered by this whole situation. ]
Why would I be worried about it?
no subject
he handled everything on his own, like a pro. and that was super cool]
I...... Don't know? 'cause you should? You can't just take down three guys like that.
[what was the alternative?]
no subject
[ It sounded like reasonable logic to him and he didn't hold back in expressing such a thing as why bother holding anything back or sugarcoating his words? ]
They have to realize that not everyone they go after is just gonna let them have their way.

Intimidating those who would gang up on a child, for another. )
What's all this? ( Seven feet of shadow fell across drunk. That, paired with a menacing aura, allowed Murasakibara to seem much scarier than he usually did. Normally he'd believe that intervening like this would be too much trouble, but it was different when someone so young was involved. )
What is it about targeting the defenceless that you enjoy?
( He wouldn't admit it, but there was something about seeing fear in someone's eyes, both on and off the basketball court, that he found entertaining. Only those who had it coming, of course. Like the overly hopeful types. Or the people he just didn't like. )
no subject
The man, however? Clearly wasn't expecting to run into someone so intimidating, seeming to go pale and the resulting shock had the small child squirming free so he could stumble once he hit ground, before moving to hide behind the much taller man's legs. ]
Just... wanted to get my wallet back. Wasn't like i'd hurt the brat...
[ Look who was backpedaling now that he was intimidated? ]
no subject
People like you annoy me the most. ( There were a few types of people higher up on Atsushi's 'most hated' list, but he wasn't thinking about them now. ) Even after a loss, you continue to keep fighting for your side of things. It makes me sick. Shut up and leave.
( Enraged Atsushi was a rare occurrence. Even Murasakibara himself couldn't remember the last time he was so worked up over something. )
no subject
It just left the small child still kind of hiding behind the taller man's leg, waiting a second before speaking up and tugging lightly on the fabric he had clutched in one small hand. ]
...U-Uhm... mister...?
[ He wasn't gonna get mad at him too, was he? ]
no subject
...Oh, you're still here.
( He didn't sound bothered by this, just surprised. As if he'd genuinely forgotten the reason this whole altercation began in the first place. )
Do you have parents or something? ( Taking this kind of responsibility wasn't something Atsushi would volunteer to do normally, but he was the one who'd decided to intervene. He has to see this through to the end. ) Are you lost?

A- Welcome to the Jungle
Well, she dodges the thrown knife a bit too easily for what she appears to be. Teenager.]
Well, you don't have much of a say what with how rude you're being.
[Because yes, throwing a knife is just "rude" not murderous.]
no subject
Rude? I saw that as being more of something to test reflexes and see how people react when put in an unexpected situation.
[ Her movements had been impressive, to say the least. ]
You did pretty well, too.
no subject
I've dodged things thrown much faster than that, sir.
[Not being human certainly helps, as she walks further into the apartment and holds the knife by the blade to offer it back to Karma.]
Still, you should be more careful. What if I was slower, hm?
no subject
[ To say she'd piqued his interest was an understatement, though one could note that he doesn't seem like he'd be bothered if she ever shared she wasn't human. After all, for a girl like that, she'd moved entirely too quickly and it hadn't gotten past his recognition. Even if he didn't comment on it yet.
Simply accepting the knife back and twirling it with a small flourish before closing it back up all neatly so he could put it back into his pocket. ]
If I truly thought the person walking in the door didn't have a chance of avoiding it at all, I never would have thrown it. Simple as that.
[ Karma was pretty good at gauging people at a glance, and there was nothing in his words that indicated he was even remotely lying about what he'd said just now. ]
no subject
[She could be kidding, hard to tell. She's going to lean against the back of the couch now that she doesn't have a knife in hand.]
So, in other words, you just got lucky.

jungle bby!
Thankfully Tsu's old apartment was still intact and vacant. A quick clean up here and there, quick touch up, trying to find her old belongings... What happened to them?! Tsu sighed. Well, not like she expected to carry them back to her home world. Still, she felt annoyed, deadpan as always. Not to mention food was nowhere. Back to square one she supposed.
An hour later Tsu returned to her apartment, wasn't expecting anyone, least until she heard a verbal warning, and then the knife. Thankfully, Tsu had her experience with knives thankyouverymuch, a 'ribbit!' escaped as she leaned her body away from the knife's path watching the blade made contact with the door instead.
Paperbag grocery still in hand. She doesn't look entirely surprised (really deep down she is). Karma is finally met with her deadpan gaze.]
If I do that, I'll have to file a report on a certain someone for trespassing.
[This is her apartment. She ain't budging!]
