You awaken amidst the darkness with only a faint light to greet you. Your body is hemmed in by shards of crystals, gently sparkling and possibly pricking your skin. The surrounding landscape is dyed in the pinks and purples of the dusk filled with crystals protruding from the ground, some as large as a skyscraper. After an hour or two of wandering through the crystal wilderness, a group of people find you worse for wear. They are the gallant Moon Knights from the planet of Prismatica. Because of the strange phenomena during the past months when scientists observed the sudden appearance of rainbow crystals in the sky, the government has been feverishly combing through the moon for more Moonblessed to be rescued. You’ll eventually be brought into Iris’s moon government center.
You all may have your usual inquiries — Where are we? Who are you? What's going on? — and the Prismals are almost too eager to answer. They tell you about their world and about the first appearance of the Moonblessed as the medical staff give you an examination to make sure you’re not carrying any viruses or biological hazards. If you react violently, you may be restrained and nerfed with a specialized neurotransmitting gun that releases a numbing agent through the top of your spine. Once the examinations are over, you’re informed that you will be provided accommodations on their planet during your stay. You will then be escorted to the docks, and led onto a large transport vessel that makes frequent trips back and forth between the Iris moon and the planet. Faces onboard vary from both old and new Moonblessed as well as the local Prismals.

Summer strikes Lunatia with record high temperatures as the city is wracked by an unnatural heatwave. Residents will feel the burn the moment they head outdoors, kissing their skin pink as it drenches them in sweat. For a hot and sticky day like this, it's the perfect time to head to Crystal Beach for a refreshing dip in the water. All sorts of new stands have popped up by the shore, selling icy treats and frozen cocktails.
The morning news recommends befriending those blessed by Cordis, who can keep people cool with their magic touch. They also warn of overheating machinery and electronics! Establishments and residences may end up dealing with broken air-modulating units if they use them too much.
Having cleared their names, Suzaku and Kaya of former *BTSB fame have decided to reform as a rock band duo called The Nine Tails after leaving their boyband roots. They will be performing their most chill new summer jam, “Fox Girl Summer,” while incorporating Cordis magic of their own to keep the listeners feeling cool and refreshed.
In a panic, Kaya winks at Suzaku, who reassures his worried partner and ends their performance by summoning a mighty phoenix above the stage. Of course, it is only an illusion for the audience as Kaya thaws the partygoers and the ocean with his magic. Suzaku might have gotten carried away with their debut...

The heated beach waters have brought a large onslaught of aggressive super bass close to the shore. Needless to say, the boys with the booming system were not ready for the sudden and alarming increase in population of this particular fish. In response, the beach committee is hosting a fishing competition to see who can catch the largest super bass. They will be providing extremely durable fishing gear and sufficient bait to all worthy competitors, so come to the Crystal Pier with your best fishing know-how and try and break a record or two!
Due to the competition, job openings for lifeguards have become available. Their main task is to keep an eye on participants and the audience. They should be ready to pull them out in case they have trouble swimming back to the pier. Lifeguards will be provided official beach committee high-tech swimsuits (in the form of tankinis and speedos of your choice) that enhance their performance by allowing them to swim faster and breathe more easily underwater. In the dark ocean depths, they glow with patterns easily recognizable to the Prismal eye. They also accentuate the Moonblesseds’ assets very nicely.

The city of Amegahara is in preparation for the annual Vulpus Astra Celebration which is coming up in a few weeks. This year is special as the foxes of Amegahara have never celebrated this occasion with the dragons of Lyestellus, making it the first time all three cities in the alliance will be celebrating together. This is all thanks to the Moonblessed, who not only healed their lands but also brought the Prismals closer.
And so for this special year, the upcoming event promises to be an even larger and more extravagant affair. In order to address the extremely high demand for traditional dress and other materials needed for the celebration, many job openings become available in Amegahara. Among these are tailors, glassblowers, florists, and dancers.

A Settle in your new home at Level 2 to find new roommates and say hello to your neighbors! City officials will give you directions to the designated districts across Level 2 and instruct you to pick out a unit. Each apartment complex has a different aesthetic, some may look cozy, some stylish, and some bizarre. The free accommodations have a basic living space that can only fit two or three people at most in one unit.
Starter Chromaspace furnishings are provided which can be controlled with the touch of a built-in panel. Examples are color-changing curtains, transforming sofa beds, cabinets turning into tables, etc. Customizing your apartment or moving out will have to wait until you earn more chroma. Until then, why don’t you check out your new neighborhood or explore the city levels? Maybe your new roommates or neighbors can give you a “hand” with allowance for dinner.

Ice may start to form around the limbs of happy local beachgoers, filling them with unfortunate shivers that will send them running into the arms of another Prismal to thaw. Even more troubling is that some portions of the oceanfront may also start to freeze, trapping some unsuspecting swimmers inside and leaving them in need of rescue. If anyone goes unnoticed, a Prismal lifeguard will be quick to rescue them.

C Although they are no different from sea bass in appearance, super bass are known for their monstrous strength and penchant for mischief. They like to fly in the air and slap whoever tries to catch them and their fellow fish with their tail fins. You think you like them better when they dolo? Think again. These fish will purposely grab a hold of something eye-catching such as rainbow-colored sea pearl or other treasures from the ocean and pull the unsuspecting fishers into the watery depths.

D The tailors will be sewing traditional clothes, such as lovely-patterned yukata, kimono, haori, and obi. Glassblowers will create pearl glass plates, cups, and trinkets such as hair accessories and festive souvenirs. Florists will be heading to work at Inari Highway’s greenhouses, caring for flowers and putting together flower crowns, colorful bouquets, and floral arrangements to use for street and interior decorations. It is encouraged to make use of pearl glass vases!
Lastly, dancers will be auditioning for a group of strict Amegaharan foxes who will not shy away from hurling insults if you underperform. The traditional Amegaharan dance features many layers of intricate fan work that is difficult to master, or dancers can choose to take part in the more uproarious Amegaharan drum dance. Be prepared for long and grueling rehearsals after passing auditions, where you will be forced to partner up with one another to bend each other’s bodies as flexibly as it could then dance until every single person in the room has the movements and timings memorized perfectly. Moonlacing will keep one another from collapsing in exhaustion, but your bruised ego may require more tender care.

Iris is tough, Kise will agree because it ties into the Triple Moons. He feels really bad for the guy that he's stuck with it. Now that he thinks about it... Kise crosses his arms and leans back, "Akashicchi was here for a few months then disappeared. There's speculation that the magic returns us home sometimes. But, while he was here he was Iris. And I've spent time with him during it. It's, well, ODD, but so long you are aware of what's happening and not give in the urge, you will be fine."
"Trust me I've been in seriously odd situations by now. You are someone I know and I'm not just going to let you crystalize before my eyes. And neither will Midorimacchi."
He nods, "It's a process. But once you are fully crystallized, there's no turning back. Half-way there you can try to call and find someone to spend a day moonlancing with you until you stabilize."
Kise's sense of shame got the bar lowered from everything that's happened here. He won't mind at all- it only comes down to Takao. He will respect what the guy decides on.

What, so Akashi was Iris too, is this a damn point guard thing because between him and that guy he can't see what else they have in common. "So don't let my guard down, for what eight days straight?" Being that on guard all the time is going to be mentally exhausting but if it can get him longer than a month before the literal big bang he is all for it.
Rarely is Takao wearing anything in the form of a smile that is not a smirk unless he is on the court and it is directed at one of his teammates. Kise himself earns an honest smile from him here at first. "Thanks, I appreciate...wait, Shin-chan? No way, that's not happening, it's not like that." What is Kise even talking about, that's his best friend, his basketball partner, he's not sleeping with him.
"Yeah, I'd rather not get halfway there, I don't have to like it but I don't have a death wish." He may threaten to just curl up and die in his more drastic moments while he finds his way but Takao loves living too much to honestly risk his life to that point. No matter what he has to do.
Well, if he has to do more than a hug or hold hands he could do a lot worse than Kise. It's not that Takao would feel shame, it is he never considered doing that with the other. It's not as if Kise is hard on the eyes. And easier to think about that than the mention of Shin-chan and moonlacing.

"Yeah, somewhat. If you find a person you're comfortable and compatible with, you won't have to. It will become much easier and less stressful." He didn't say 'date and have sex' just for the heck of it; it's literally something he needs to consider to survive.
Kise shakes his head, "I've been here with him for a year, and I know he'd do it to help you out. He'll complain, yes, but he complains about everything, you know that. But he will help you. And if he does something stupid and hurts you then I'll have a word or three with him." They don't need to have sex! But- Kise knows Midorima will help Takao out in his Midorima way. And if they do more than that, well, that's for them to decide. Kise won't meddle.
"Try not to think too much about it, okay?" Kise leans forward, elbows on the table. "It will only stress you out even more. I know it sounds scary but, like in basketball, take one enemy at the time. In this case one step. We'll figure this out."

"Guess I better polish up my dating skills." His flirting skills, his doing anything that is not having fun and playing basketball. At least he has his outgoing nature working in his favor in that respect. After all, a shy guy would not be as blunt as he was in describing how Iris sounds to him.
"Whoa, I'm going to stop you right there and if you ever tell him I said this out loud I will deny it. That's my best friend, it's never going to happen. No hand-holding, no hugging, maybe a shoulder pat or back slap, we don't do more than that. I don't know about you two, but we'll be alright without it." It's not how they work and if Midorima is really here Takao is going to do his level best to keep things just the way they are. It's not like already caring for someone can be problematic right? Kise can meddle, Takao may end up talking to him about these things since he is slowly unwinding and finding he likes the copy cat's company. He snickers at the hurt him partly because he doesn't imagine Midorima would, Takao sees through him too well "Worst he's going to do is hit me in the head with something, you don't have to yell at him for that. I'll probably deserve it." It's part of their back and forth so really getting things shot at his head is par for the course.
Takao nods, he rolls his shoulders, willing every muscle in his body to loosen, to slump and slouch in his comfortable mannerisms. He is stiffer than normal but there is a level effort to take his mind off it because, at this point, all he can do is survive it. "Now you're talking my language, basketball I can handle." The point guard jokes, picking up his drink to take another sip after.

He chuckles a bit, "I'm sure you'll be fine. You're a great guy and easy to get along with, I have no doubts you'll find a date around here."
Kise shrugs, "I mean, sure, if that's what you want. There's no pressure or "you have to do it" with him. I just wanted to say that if you get in a pinch, he'll help you out. Moonlancing is not just sex, you know. Sex garners the most chroma, but in non-moon related days, you can easily work around it with casual touches and handholding." He's not really going to comment on his own situation with Midorima, not yet at least, he can't just dump and say he's dating (? probably?) the guy on his best friend. Maybe he should let Midorima tell him that. Is that a jerk move? Ah well, there's already a ton of stuff Takao is worrying about, he can do without one more thing. It will come up eventually.
"Haha, he's already smacked me with a dog toy," Kise laughs, "so some things never change." And it's kind of a comforting thought.
He nods, "You're best to ask Midorimacchi about basketball teams around here. I worked as full-time model up until recently." He winks, "I was kind of collecting money to try and establish a sports center here. I kinda wanna do something that includes odd sports too, you know, something that's not usual. Like... like javelin toss! Or archery. I'd love if there was anyone who could teach kendo as well! Of course, it will have a basketball court and all other famous ones, but I thought to spice up interest."

Some people would blush, some would politely say thank you. Takao, he smirks, confidence creeping back in bit by bit as the conversation steers away from him personally needing to have sex into safer territory. "Saying you want to go on a date with me, huh?" He is teasing, because it's what he does and he needs to get this funk off himself.
He would like to not think of moonlacing anything with Midorima, it feels complicated and he has not even seen the guy yet. That is just a scenario he hopes they can avoid because well, best friends do best friend things. Moonlacing does not sound best friend like to him, even if it's not sex. Casual touches and handholding still go beyond friend zone he thinks, maybe after a while, he will change his mind. The first day, he is going on the hard no path, unless an emergency. That addendum he will keep to himself and not admit out loud, hoping to avoid it happening. Considering who he is talking to, he could have, Midorima may have preferred Kise let him tell Takao if only because they are closer than Takao and Kise. It's not going to shock or concern him, he'll laugh because Takao is bound to find it amusing that those two ended up together. No matter who tells him or doesn't tell him, he'll figure it out. The only way to hide something from him is to not be around him.
"He'll never change..." He laughs but there is an echo of what Kise thought, that is comforting. Sure, everyone says he changed since playing with Shutoku and maybe in some ways, he did a little. Takao sees it as he stopped hiding as much as he used to, not a lot mind but some. Enough that he will let the point guard use lucky items to "force" him into hanging out with his old friends.
"Oh, I will." In truth that would be the first person, he would ask, if Takao is on the court he expects it to be with Midorima, there is not a world they don't play together that he can imagine. He knows Kise is good and he'd be glad to play a little one on one but he has a position as a "shadow" to keep when it comes to the court. "I'm surprised you don't play anymore." Then he listens about the modeling and the sports center, the wink met with a smirk, really it's safe to assume, that smirk is always a tad devilish, it's natural and he does not have to try for it "I can see it." The sports center is another thing entirely and sounds interesting "That doesn't sound bad, I've never tried kendo or any of that, maybe include some form of martial arts if someone could teach it? Capoeira may be popular, it's got the dance, acrobatics, and martial arts thing going for it."

He's not hiding his relationship with Midorima, he's really happy because of it. But, as per Midorima's request, he's not to flaunt it around either because he's dating other people too. As Kise is as well. It's a complicated web that they have been managing to handle surprisingly well. There aren't many things they agree with, including basketball, but this is the one that they seem to find a common language.
"I think he changed," Kise shrugs. "Maybe it's not as obvious as with other people because Midorimacchi is really, um, poker-faced? Traditional? But I think he did change." He smiles, "You guys at Shuutoku are really nice influence. I really want to play a proper match against you." Because at the Winter's cup, he couldn't due to his leg injury. Midorima himself told him it's not a 'proper match if he doesn't play' and Kise's holding him for his word. And maybe, after that showdown, Takao will get his -cchi added to his name.
"Oh, I play! I train, a lot! But I'm not in an active, professional team. Well, wasn't. I was concerned to secure good place to live and have some spare money as a backup. Modeling brings in good cash. I'll still do part-time gigs here and there because, well, it pays like, really good. But I'll focus more on the sports center and basketball in the coming months."
He claps his hands, "Perfect! You'll help me make a list of sports I can include. After that- I need a building that I can easily expand as I add in more and more activities. That part is a bit more difficult."

Takao will unravel those webs later and probably have to weave some of his own. What he will be is happy as long as his friend is. That's how those things work. As long as the person, persons, or whatever he is dating make him happy, it's all good. Though Kise and Midorima will get teased, only because one, it's Midorima, two he knows Kise and is already showing, he is not above teasing him.
"I guess, a little..." Takao will save his observations on that, if only because it would get him a basketball to the head and he just got free of green pineapples, he would like to avoid a concussion until he has been here at least a week. There is a lift of pride to his shoulders at the mention of Shutoku; clearly, he is proud of his team and his teammates. "We'll be waiting for you, don't get yourself hurt this time." Because, no, it is not a proper match, and Takao is rising right to the challenge. After all, Kise can copy any move, but it makes the point guard wonder, can he copy his hawk-eye, considering it is something he has on and off the court he is curious to see if his ability with their teamwork can beat the golden-haired baller.
"Probably a good idea, but I can't imagine not playing." Meaning his plan is going to have to involve working and playing at the same time until he can find a way to make money on basketball, that would be the dream after all. " You did that at home, too, didn't you?" It seems like this guy was in magazines and stuff back in Japan for a time too if he remembers right, it'd be hard to confuse him with someone else.
Takao laughs, did this suddenly become a job interview. "You want a building that you can either buy the property on each side for expansion or that doesn't have anything on either side, and you can buy up the empty land. I don't think I can help with that, but I don't mind thinking up some sports to include. I don't come cheap, though." He chuckles, he is kidding because really what work is there in thinking up some sports to help the guy out. Thinking about it, maybe he could learn something new, depending on what classes they get. Kise did say something about it being dangerous here; the guy feels the need to have a wolf for protection after all.

Kise expects to be teased from Takao because, well, it's Takao, and it's Midorima, the single most stoic and unreadable person they both know and they somehow ended up together? His senses told him that Akashi knew that there was something between them but the guy never said a word about it.
"There's no way I'll be hurt next time," Kise smirks back. It's been a while since he bantered like this about basketball match. The odds are stacked up against him, Midorima and Takao as a team are pretty damn scary, but what's life without a challenge? It means Kise will be able to go all out on them without feeling a single ounce of remorse. As for the hawkeye- once he sees it in the game, he'll learn it. If he managed to learn Akashi's Emperor Eye, Takao's ability shouldn't be much of a problem.
"I train still, always, every day. It's a habit I never went back on and I'm still good. I just focused on trying to survive here first. So I went for the one thing I knew it will pay a lot which is modeling. Now that I got what I wanted, I can refocus back on things I love doing." And he laughs, "Oooh? What should I pay with then to get a professional opinion?" He has his chin atop of both of his hands and grinning at Takao.

At least Kise gets it and understands they have earned the teasing from the point guard; all will be well. Except for Midorima, who is bound to go hoarse from repeated "Shut up Takao. But, that's his fault so he'll have to deal with it. Takao will not be so subtle.
"I'm holding you to that." The odds are in Takao and Midorima's favor. If nothing else, they have logged hours upon hours on a court together and work well as a team. This is going to be an exciting game, plus it means Takao and Midorima can come up with something to use against that damn Emperor Eye. He owes Akashi the next time he sees him on the court after all.
"Lucky, I'm going to have to burn the candle at both ends. " He can not give up basketball, but he also is assuming he will have to get a legitimate paying job, plus he has to socialize and find people to moonlace with. He needs a day calendar at this point, and he just got here. "Hmmmm.." Takao can not clear his smirk, but he does rub at his chin as if in serious thought over what he would charge. "At least dinner, it might even have to move into breakfast."
He laughs because he'll gladly think up that list for free anyway. His mind will be grateful for the distractions; he is going to be lacking in those until he finds his footing.

It will be hard playing all by himself, with no proper teammates to back him up, but he'll still do it. Who knows, maybe he learns eventually how to hold a team together and be a decent captain? All in all, he'll go full 'perfect copy' against those two and give them a proper challenge against all members of GoM at once. Maybe he should ask Mayuzumi for two-on-two...
"Well, luckily you get a free starter apartment, but if you want something that's more comfortable for you, yeah... it will need some work and time." Kise has a fancy and big apartment but he really did work hard for it.
"Oho, dinner AND breakfast! An opportunist! Aren't you glad I'm so generous?!" Kise laughs warmly. He winks, "Maybe I'll end up making you that breakfast~"

Two on two would be fun, and well, Takao will be glad to take Mayuzumi on again. He has a fire in him regarding basketball period. But when it comes to Rakuzan, yeah, he is ready to take them down as he is sure his partner is. Man, now he wants to play basketball, too bad they couldn't grab the other two ballers and do a two on two right now. Soon, Takao will be dragging them together if they don't get off their behinds themselves.
"It's not so bad, not used to living alone. But I don't take a ton of space." Ouch, he shouldn't have said that there is a little pain at the thought of his mom, dad, and little sister. Yes, he has his best friend here, or so everyone keeps telling him. Yet, Takao realizes he will not see his family at least he better not. He hopes that he hasn't disappeared on them, he wouldn't want to worry them that way. Sorry for his faint moment of serious expression Kise, his brain is a whirlwind. Takao will work hard; eventually, he will get his own place, not a starter, and settle in, for now, he will content himself that at least he doesn't have to beg a bed to sleep in every night.
"Always, never let an opportunity slip from your fingers." He snickers, giving the other a wink before stretching up to prop his hands behind his head, rocking back slightly in his chair. "Careful, a shadier guy might take advantage of such generosity" clearly by his smile; he's not shady, but you know insinuation can be fun.
"Oh, now we're on to homecooked breakfast, I don't know, if you're going to go that far I better make sure it's the best list you've ever seen. I have to earn my keep."

If Takao wants to play against Rakuzan, Kise can stay in Emperor mode for a while, so together with Mayuzumi, he could provide the said challenge. It's not his favorite copy though, he prefers Aomine's style because it's similar to his own in a way, only more wild and cool.
Kise just nods, "Yeah, I get then. I have two older sisters," pretty big family when you add mom and dad too, "so getting used to the silence took a while." He hasn't seen them in a year now and he gives his best not to think about it too because it hurts. His relationship with his sisters is odd and challenging, but he still loves them and misses them.
"Good thing you're not a shady guy then," he grins. Yeah, he definitively picks up on it. "It's good to plan ahead you know. I'm looking forward to a wonderful breakfast! I'm counting on you~"

If he wants to play against Rakuzan? He cried after that game; losing is frustrating. He has some revenge to get on that court. Of course, it is no feat to beat Aomine, so if that's the style Kise goes with, it will still be a good game.
"Yeah, I've got a little sister and my parents." It is unfair, but knowing he is not the only one who will be missing family does make him feel a little better. Someone will understand it if those feelings get a little too much to take. He just hopes they are happy and not worried about him at this point.
"You never know, I could be a good actor." He winks, then laughs glad Kise can fall in line with his antics, more naturally than Takao would have predicted in fact, "Lucky I'm good under pressure with that kind of expectation." Though it is a truth, it is good to plan; he can save real planning until at least tomorrow, right? Get a day to just settle and enjoy himself for these few moments.

"I'm sorry," Kise says, genuine. "The only good thing about that is that they aren't here, stuck in this weird place. It's going to be tough getting used to the new pace of life but people adapt. Better and faster than they anticipate. Especially if it's a troublesome situation, and they have a few people for support.
Kise mock gasps, "Well I'd never! Takao-kun! Pretending!" It's a good thing to distract from grim thoughts. And it's the only thing Kise can offer right now.

Takao gives an honest smile, no devilish smirk, a sincere appreciation for the words. "You're right." And he does have to admit, at least he is not alone. He has familiar faces; this could be a lot scarier without somewhere to ask his questions that he can trust. He is sure he will worry about them but he can be grateful they are not here. All things considered, it would make his life harder and way weirder. Even if he does have to suffer homesickness because of it. It's better that way.
He snickers in amusement, "I know, I'm such an innocent guy. It's astounding I could be so devious!" It is perfect, and Kise is doing a fantastic job. He has a very grateful point guard here who will be repaying his kindness time and again.
