It is! Particularly since Noiz is also mixed race. It only gets brought up in the drama CD and summer side story for his Good End, but one of his grandmothers is Japanese. Her husband's interest in Japanese culture was influential enough that everyone in the family and a third of the household staff all speak both languages. Canon doesn't talk about whether he experienced any sort of discrimination from others in Germany or Japan for it, but he's always been the sort to ignore the opinion of others. If the topic came up that could be interesting to explore.
See Ann moved back to Japan in middle school and was largely shunned by her classmates with one notable exception until her second year of high school. It's also been the cause of her being on the receiving end of inappropriate attention from one of her teachers. But she was working toward not letting other's opinions bother her so much, which considering her chosen profession is modeling is hilarious. But I would love to have them talk about their shared or lack of shared experiences given their mixed heritage.
