There were two Scouts in Mayfield; I was the RED one and I wasn't there nearly as long as the BLU one was. So you might be thinking of them!

I have to read the last comics since I never thought I'd ever even consider playing him again! While skimming them over I realized my headcanon is pretty different from what Valve has said so I definitely have catching up to do.

I might be! I was in Mayfield for, like, five minutes with Nathan Drake from Uncharted, but I still remember reading the big TF2 threads. And HECK YEAH I would definitely recommend catching up with the comics. Both me and our Spy play from where the big current storyline is at right now (not that you're under any obligation to read them bc of that, ofc), but they're also absolutely amazing and got me back into playing the game like... last year???? But either way I recc.
