Everyone probably already knows who Steve Rogers is, but just in case, he's a WWII soldier who was part of a soldier enhancement experiment and then was stuck in ice for 70 years. Now he leads a team of superheroes called the Avengers, except I'm planning to take him from between Civil War and Infinity War, so spoilers, he's actually on the run right now. It means he gets to come in with a scruffy beard because why not.

Wei WuXian is literally the embodiment of chaotic dumbass, more chaotic than dumb. He somehow manages to bring chaos wherever he goes, a free spirit who exists to defy all odds and attempt the impossible, as the Yunmeng Jiang Sect motto goes. He had the roughest fucking life ever, dying in madness and drowned in resentful energy that were both his strength and his demise. He gets resurrected thirteen years later in the body of a guy who for Anime Reasons™ looks exactly like him, and he's basically given a second chance to redeem himself... while still using the same abilities that drove him to madness. Literal dumbass. Wei Wuxian is genuinely a good person, though, despite his necromancy arts. He has a pretty strong sense of justice despite his general behavior, and he can be pretty damn selfless. And of course, I'd love to make him a Sanguis, where all the madness and sadistic ways of his past self, when he was the Yiling Patriarch, would come back. Because I love to watch people suffer.

I'm not sure whether I'm taking her from the end of Fate/CCC or from FGO's Serva★Fes so I'm still in the air about that.

I'm already 99.99% sure I'm apping him, BUT: Lalli is a twenty-year-old night scout/mage from post-apocalyptic Finland with zero (0) people skills. Catch him stealing food right off your plate/hissing at cats because they hate him/pissing off the locals, because seriously, what are social norms?? He sure doesn't know. His hobbies include sleeping in the weirdest places, scouting around the most dangerous environments for hours on end, eating anything with SUGAR (direct him to cinnamon rolls ASAP, please), awkwardly staring at people... he's great.

Oh, yeah... and sometimes he makes weird noises? It be like that.

Hold her hand and let her become a Chroma Magnate, because she's used to being super poor... but once she finds out that it's that easy to make money? Whew, lads.

Here's this shit from the AMNESIA visual novels! His name is Shin, he's 18 years old and is kind of a sarcastic asshole. Very tsun. Here's some wiki knowledge! Shin is a reserved and mysterious person. Sometimes he affectionately calls the Heroine "idiot", but he deeply cares and loves her in his route the Heart World, and he has been good friends with Toma since childhood. He carries a heavy emotional burden of his father having killed someone by accident. Due to social stigma that resulted from that accident, he wasn't able to make friends which made him a social outcast. Only his childhood friends, the Heroine and Toma, stayed by his side because they cared and tried to help him. He blames himself for the injuries the Heroine got in the incident on Shinano trip.

Primrose is a noble young lady whose dad got shanked by some assholes, and she left home to exact her revenge on them, as young ladies do. This led to her becoming a dancer in the pleasure district and enduring pretty much everything for many, many years until she got a lead on the killers and thus her quest for stabbing and vengeance truly began. So more or less, she's a sexy dancer who's completely motivated by revenge, but also makes for a great friend and big sister figure for the other party members.

I'm still working on voice-testing, but considering her history, she'd be pretty willing to do dat sexy moonlacing for the currency and I think she'd be fun to bring here!

The three I want the most are Sera, The Iron Bull, and Solas. The other Dragon Age peeps can totes add their wish lists here too!

Sera is a freaking amazing Red Jenny with her own unique style and way of speaking. She's basically like a vigilante? In a huge "stick it to the man!" kind of way. She also brings more wlw to the game and pretty much any game ever can do with more wlw.



The Iron Bull is a qunari spy possibly turned traitor to the Qun (depending on player choices) who developed his own found family with a mercenary group known as the Bull's Chargers. He is big, kinky, and beautiful (yes I said beautiful and I'm sticking to it!). If I say any more it will get to be gushy but basically, I love him.



Solas is just a simple mage from the north who sleeps a lot and is buddies with spirits. He's super normal with nothing unusual about him at all. Just a humble mage who likes the Fade. Yep. Nothing out of the ordinary here.

Absolutely the sweetest, most kindhearted cold-blooded killer that you will ever meet. He only ever deserved love, but life started out a bit rough for him when he accidentally killed his parents with his crazy ice powers. He wound up adopted off the streets by a mercenary villain type who raised him thinking he was just a tool to be used, but Haku was so unconditionally devoted to this guy that he was totally fine with that. He probably ought to learn to love himself, buuut he might end up loving you instead.

as far as canon versions go I'm looking at prooobably Katsugeki? I love the stages, but that's so much content to review and also to try to condense down tbh.

I could also consider Hizamaru (from the musicals side of canon) but I think Manba is more likely tbh. :|a all tentative since Mother's Day is very busy at my job so I'm not sure how much time I'll have free to TDM, but!! we'll see how things go! I have several thoughts about what to do with moon things for him so I'm definitely interested in giving this a shot.

Likely the most Tired of the shounen heroines, Meryl Stryfe is part-responsible, part-adrenaline junkie and all done with your bullshit. She travels the planet with her work partner and best friend, Milly Thompson, as they try to reduce the damage output of one Vash the Stampede, the Humanoid Typhoon. Meryl's a person who cares Too Much most of the time, even if she likes to brush off her feelings with a bit of sass, and she's absolutely not above losing her position as the Logical One in the group and running right into danger when someone she cares about is in trouble.

The world of Hallownest has some wonderful characters who the Knight would be just giddy to see (or at least as close as they ever get) but right at the top of the list are their siblings Hornet and The Hollow Knight. Hornet in particular would be an excellent addition, bad-ass bug that she is. She could probably actually serve as a translator for the Knight. And of course having Big Sibling around to have a semi-decent life instead of serving as a lock on an insane goddess would be great. Grimm's delightful hamminess and eerie, sinister self would be a great addition as well, and beyond that it's just "look, do you want to play one of these wonderful bugs? Great, get in here."

Canon: Fatal Frame V: Maiden of Black Water

The director describes her as, "I thought of shrine maidens as an intermediary between life and death, so Yuuri had to be someone who was drifting in the rift between life and death - between being alive and dead - and if she took a single step she would have to go one way or the other. We were particularly careful to give her a look in her eyes that made you feel how in the middle she is. Eyes that look like she could go somewhere far away; eyes that look as though she could be called to by death at any moment. Grief-stricken eyes at the reality of eventually dying alone.

I also wanted Yuuri's gaze to look as though she's a moment away from crying. I thought the gaze would be properly persuasive of the contradiction that whilst captivated by death she tries to save people; the contradiction that she is introverted but active."

Essentially she's a kind, sad girl with the ability to see spirits, read minds, and see peoples' memories who got this power thanks to a traumatic accidentally shortly before the start of the game. She's scared of her abilities and wishes she were normal, to the point that she wants to die because everyone around her was convinced she was just suffering PTSD and all from the accident so they refused to believe her or help her. She can't say no to anyone in need so she suffers from severe Protagonist Syndrome of trying to help everyone even if she shouldn't.





Character: Sae Kurosawa
Canon: Fatal Frame II: Deep Crimson Butterfly

The younger of a pair of twins born to the Kurosawa family, which presided over the village's festival. She fled the village with her sister, Yae, in an attempt to escape from the fate of twins in the Crimson Sacrifice Ritual, but fell from the mountain path and was captured by the villagers. In a desperate attempt to avert disaster, the villagers hung Sae by the neck with shimenawa. Her corpse was thrown into the Hellish Abyss as a lone sacrifice, but became a vengeful spirit with the occurring of the Repentance, and massacred the villagers, filling the town with the sound of her maniacal laughter.

She's a young girl who was going to be forced to participate in a ritual that involved her older twin strangling and killing her so they could "become one" and the combined strength of their power could seal the gates to hell for a little while. It didn't work since she had to do it by herself, but she held out hope that Yae would come rescue her in the end...

She cursed the village so that any pair that ends up stumbling across the village gets trapped there and forced to do the ritual until a pair of twins come to do it properly.

But she's lonely and hurt and used to be rather kind and outgoing, so it'd be nice to see if she can work through that and become someone "normal" again or at least get some help for her crazy... But she's gotta cool white funeral kimono covered in blood (splattered in the shape of a butterfly wing!) and a permanent rope burn/scar around her throat and she's kind of obsessed with siblings so. Idk!! I've never played her before so it'd be an interesting challenge.

Canon: Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel

You ever join a new fandom and your friends all tell you "Hey you are going to love this character!" And then it turns out that they were 100% right and you love them and would die for them?

Shirou was that character for me when I started getting into Fate/ earlier this year. The thing is that I am very, very new to this fandom and uncertain if I actually will be able to keep his voice or not. I don't even have icons for him yet, I'm that new! (Btw, if you have a good place to get icons let me know!)

The version of Shirou I'm thinking of picking up is a young man who grew up with the dream of being a hero of justice - a dream he took on because of his adopted father. He wanted to save everyone even at the risk of his own life. Then he discovered all of the terrible things happening to one of his very good friends and abandoned that dream to protect her from those horrors. He realized the value of being a hero to just one person, especially if that person is someone you love and even if they have a darkness inside of them that threatens the world.

He also has an arm that belongs to a future version of himself and is kind of really super into his girlfriend now - both of these things will make it difficult for him to be physical with folks so... you know... we all got things to deal with.

This is Fenrich from the famous Disgaea series~. He is a werewolf who is a loyal steward and trusted vassal for the protagonist, Valvatorez.

There is no subtly about how he thinks the world of his lord. At all. It might even weird some people out but he isn't one to care about what others think. The only opinion that matters to him is Lord Valvatorez's opinion. So if you aren't his lord, he might not have the nicest things to say, sadly.

Not very friendly, but if you want a strong person to either fight against or have on your side, this guy is a good candidate. Oh, and if you want someone who can manipulate, plot, and scheme (going as far as using his friends and master, sometimes), then this is also your guy.

Kirei is what happens when someone with sociopathic tendencies becomes a priest. Otherwise known as "that guy whose death the universe quantum time-locked because he's so terrible", he's generally accepted to be a big villain (or one of the big villains) in every installment of Fate/ he shows up in. He's the kind of guy who'd genuinely enjoy the Sonic movie trailer... not because it's good or quirky, but because it makes so many people miserable. Kirei derives happiness from only "bad" or "ugly" things, so he enjoys making others suffer, in subtle and not-so-subtle ways. He's bad. Just like stay away for your own good. You don't want him to get obsessed with you, just ask Kiritsugu.
