SAME, actually! lmao I am watching s2 for the first time, myself 😅 - 3 eps into it. I am def apping peg to prisma and I'll be sure to let you know where she's at! she's been given some great character development so far, and I think a reunion w/ these two will be v interesting!

okay, i binged, it got so good. there was a bit of a cliffhanger to hopefully lure in interest (we know how that went), but other than that last little bit, Peg did get something of an ending at least. so because of that, i'd be taking her fresh out of the end of S2! spoilers ahead, if you don't mind it.

so, basically, peg will always have a spot in her heart for steve, but that scene with her in S1 saying goodbye to him when disposing of the last vile of his blood in the river was the prelude to her moving forward. for a lot of S2, she started to finally open herself up to the possibility of finding love. while i don't think she quite found it yet, she certainly had the opportunity with daniel sousa. knowing her, it'd take her a while to figure out that her love for sousa would be different (not better or worse, just different) from her love for steve, but we'd unfortunately never get to see that be explored in canon.

as for peg's char development, she'd be the same old girl scout with a hard punch, but perhaps moreso now. she is more stubborn, more driven, and more sarcastic than ever, and i think a massive part of that comes from the confidence she discovered in herself.

when it comes down to how she would be affected by seeing steve again, i'd alter that based on your own preferences and what you're comfortable with (while, of course, staying true to her character). i'm pretty flexible tbh! what are your thoughts? :)

sorry for the delayed response! and wow, i appreciate the detailed thoughts because i think there's a lot of interesting stuff to play with here.

steve will be post-civil war, which means he's already experienced peggy's funeral and therefore been forced to move on from her to some extent. not to mention he's been living in the future for over four years now. so i think it'll be fun to play with the fact that both of them have carried on and had separate lives in very different times/places, only to now be brought together again.

it's clear that both of them still care for each other very deeply, but trying to figure out how they fit together now that they've each grown and changed could be really fun. how they develop in a shippy sense is something we can play by ear, i think? i don't want either of us to feel tied down, and given the nature of this game, there's probably going to be some amount of flinging them around at others for the sake of moonlacing, etc.

hopefully that all makes sense/fits in with what you were thinking!

agreed on everything! i don't mind at all playing it by ear, and i think it could be really fun to explore their dynamic as individuals who have grown by their own experiences rather than automatically being drawn and tied to eachother, in a sense.

i'm sure peggy's heart would drop and flutter back into place as soon as she even saw steve (at the time of the first avenger, he was the first decent man she had come across who really noticed her as a human being since her brother, michael, died in the war). but she's been without him for almost 3 years and have since learned her value and stopped seeking the approval or acceptance of the men in her workplace.

one thing is for certain: she would be thrilled to have him in her life again, romantically, sexually, platonically, or otherwise. and i'm totally okay to play around with any of it!

YEAH, steve's also going to be completely blindsided by peggy's presence, it'll be great. but while they're in this situation where they have to be intimate with others to generate chroma, etc... he'll definitely want to make sure that it's coming from the right place with peggy. steve's going to have to adjust to the idea of casual intimacy in general, but with peggy he'd want it to mean something rather than being out of necessity/convenience. if that makes sense!

i want space for us to be able to play around with the mechanics of the game with other characters while their relationship remains central/important to each of them, so i think we're on the same page here. \o/
